Polite and courteous on the phone call

This is the first time I have ever had a collection agency try to help me, I have talked directly to Billing from the doctors office and to get them information about the VA that they should be billing, I have called four times to give them this information and hung up thinking that I had this handled. I recently received a letter from this collection agency. , I talked to Kyle. And told him what I have been going through between. The billing department at the doctors office. And Salt Lake City VA Billing. And no one would help me. Kyle is the first person. That is honestly trying to help me solve. This bill. Honestly the only time I have ever talk to a bill collector that has tried to help solve the problem. I would like to thank Kyle. For his help and understanding. I wish we had more people in the world. That was as caring and understanding. As Kyle was. Thank you Kyle for trying to help when even the VA was not willing to help!! I find all of their staff to be friendly. However, my main concern is why they charged more than 30% over my original medical bill and are unable to provide a detailed breakdown of the charges.( my medical bill sell to them on Oct 2024) FYI: In Utah, charging more than 10% interest on a debt is considered a felony. Still, I like their staff, just not sure why they not follow the law.

Colin was incredibly helpful, calm and incredibly polite despite me having a bad attitude. He helped me resolve an insurance error and was thorough at gathering all my information to make sure they wouldn’t have to call again. Don’t use their online portal just call, Colin was the best.
