I sat down with Mike and explained I was facing a DUI with a high BAC level. I detailed the event, some of my concerns with the arrest, and how the BAC test was given to me at the station. He sat and actively listened to me. After I was done, Mike was straight forward and honest with me about my situation and what were the possible outcomes, including possible jail time. Mike worked hard researching my case and going over discovery. In the end, he was able to get my BAC level removed from record which in turn took jail time off the table. I highly recommend Mike for his professionalism, expertise, and results in my situation.

I have hired Michael Pignone twice now to represent me in DWI 1st Offense. For the first case, nearly a decade ago in Prince William County, I was just barely over the limit and did a field sobriety test. The state had all they needed for conviction. I went for a consultation with Michael Pignone and hired him on the spot. He clearly told me what was going on, what my chances were, and what I needed to do prior to court. He continued my case. Final result, the charge was amended to a reckless with a one year suspension of license (drive only to and from work, asap classes, or medical appointments). In 2017 I got arrested and charged with DWI in Prince William County and was below the legal limit, at .06. This time, I didn't submit to the field sobriety checks and only submitted to breathalizer in the station. I hired Michael Pignone on the spot. He continued the case and negotiated a plea to reckless with a $400 fine plus court costs, 30 days suspended sentence without suspension of license or probation or ASAP. Talk to him in consultation and it is clear he knows the DWI laws inside and out. What's more he seems to enjoy taking these cases and working for his clients. If you get charged with a DWI or any serious traffic offense, especially in Prince William, I would highly recommend hiring Michael Pignone.

I got a Reckless Driving ticket in Prince William county, on the way home from OBX heading back to MD. It was about 3:45am I was going 91 in a 65. The officer pulled me over gave me a reckless driving ticket. I started freaking out as I found it was a Misdemeanor Charge and I’ve never been charged with anything before. Hell I’ve never got a speeding ticket before, called a few lawyers they all said “your going to jail, no way around it”. I called Steve and after one phone call he gave me a list of stuff to do before court. (26 hours community service, Speedometer calibration, MD Driving record, a few letters of recommendation). My daughter recently received a ticket for reckless driving. It is the first speeding ticket she has ever gotten. Michael worked with her and the court to have it fully dismissed if she agreed to a court ordered driver improvement class. He is professional and courteous. Top notch individual. My lawyer was Tracey Lenox. She was late to court the day of my hearing complaining of knee pain. She then proceeded to advise me to take a bad deal instead of working hard to defend me at trial. I later found my sentence was worse than people with both similar and more serious charges. I'm disappointed with the quality of work and feel taken advantage of. I should have realized I picked the wrong lawyer the moment I found myself dealing with her assistant more than her. Once Ms. Lenox took the money, there ended her defense on my behalf. I would not recommend anyone put their faith in this lawyer/law firm. Please find yourself a lawyer that will truly work on your behalf.

my Son In Law got a reckless ticket from a PWC police officer for passing in a turning lane when it was not a turning lane. Steve Duckett got the evidence to prove the officer was wrong and a Reckless ticket got dismissed.
