I should have posted this a while ago, but Rutter-Mills represented me after a drunk driver plowed into my motorcycle head-on. Which was even worse since I was on it at the time. At first, the insurance company on the vehicle was willing to pay the full liability amount, which meant we'd be unable to sue for more. But the team at Rutter-Mills, lawyers, paralegals, and investigators all kept pushing and realized that a legality detail meant the driver's father's insurance was responsible. I got medically separated from the Navy due to my injuries, which still persist and hinder me to this day. But thanks to the way everyone at Rutter Mills treated me and worked to get me compensation that set me up for life, they're the first lawyers I refer people to if they've been injured and they're first lawyers I'll go to of anything ever happens to me or my family.

I’m very dissatisfied with this law firm I feel like it was poor work. Nothing was really done for me. The defendant got away scot-free and I’m left with needed surgery that they didn’t fight to get me the money for please go elsewhere. They came back with a super low figure and they took basically half of that. Best bet go outside of tidewater area. I feel like they’re all in cahoots here anyway ,no need to write a reply. You got half my money anyway.

Worst experience ever waiting 3+ years bc Gillikin doesn’t know how to file without milking for time so he can get that money. Oh and he will call you a basket case, out of your mind, and out of control if you try to tell them they are horrible at communicating- and they blocked my number thinking they can still make money off my case. - clarification - So, it’s been 3+ years since I got with a lawyer for my disability case. I have fibromyalgia, BPD + bipolar, ptsd, adhd etc… I’m just gonna copy and paste what all I wrote to my girlfriend this morning about it. 
I talked to [my lawyer] in February and he said 6-8 months he’d know something about my federal appeal*(MIND YOU THIS IS AFTER IT WAS SUPPOSE TO BE APPROVED A YEAR AGO)
November hits no phone call so I call and his paralegal says “I don’t think he’s sent in his findings” and I’m like hold up this dude had since February when he talked to me about it being in Federal Appeals and NOTHING been done? 
She said “well you talked to him in July” (no I talked to him about my federal appeal in February and he said 6-8 months I’d hear back)
I said “maam that was me who called to clarify I could work from home 🤦” … she started going off and accidently played herself when she said “it should had been back by September!” And I was like “oh so September was 2 frickin months ago 💀 “ she then said I was yelling 😭 aw lawd no see they hate getting caught in a lie!! Since I said “frickin” - 
No matter what I said, she kept talking over me. Telling me I was harassing her when I asked for her to reiterate a timeline on my behalf so I could better understand the process. She (Susan Pryor) hung up. I called back and my lawyer answered and proceeded to tell me I was “completely out of it” and he blocked my number YET THOUGHT HE WAS GONNA KEEP ME AS A CLIENT?! 
I called the number that he forgot to block me from and I told him that he would be dropping me and that I would be reporting him to the bar for everything that has happened in the past three years, INCLUDING the times where he’s called me a basketcase, and an invalid. Rutter Mills this morning told me all they could do was send Susan a message about me dropping them, and that I couldn’t switch my case to another lawyer in the firm nor switch from Gillikins office back to theirs. —————— Below in their response they are lying. I just called this AM and was told I was in the system bc I saw Gillikin and the two offices are affiliated. Also, do they not see that he blocked my number?
