Pat Chvatal represented me in my custody battle in 2010-2011. I had a few other lawyers before her and none of them were the caliber that she is. She recognized immediately what kind of person my sons father was, knew how to handle his attorney and held my hand every step of the way. Even when she was feeling ill, she made sure I was ok with her conferencing in to a mediation appointment. Every time I was unsure of the solution she provided, she reminded me I didn’t have to do anything I wasn’t comfortable with. Personally, having an attorney that was willing to give me a boost every once in a while was exactly what I needed to get through the process. Would recommend her to anyone with a difficult case.

My marriage ended abruptly in Jan 2018. I was devistated and worried because I had no idea what to do or how to go about the legal process of divorce. I met with Allison and we discussed realistic expectations of wants and needs of a family, and as a father of two, I was able to feel confident that this was the attorney for me. Throughout the process at any given time if I did not understand legal terminology, the parenting plans/custody options, or any concerns Allison was able to efficiently answer my questions which further boosted my confidence in her as a professional. Divorce is horrible and can test patience, however I can say honestly that hiring Allison to help me navigate through the legal process saved me from having a nervous breakdown. I can recommend her with extreme confidence that she is a professional, will speak honestly about your situation, and represent you to the fullest of her capabilities. For me, everyone’s situation is different mind you, my divorce was able to be resolved with both parties having minimal discomfort and able to find common ground through what was best for our family going forward. Hiring Allison was one of my best decisions that I could have made throughout the process! If you find yourself in a position like mine or needing legal consultation I highly recommend her.

Life changed unexpectedly and my marriage failed, I met with Allison and had a consoltation with my family’s wants and needs and she was able to provide me with a basic idea on how to proceed if I wished to pursue my divorce with her as my attorney. After I hired Allison I found myself initially overwhelmed by the process but she walked me through it step by step the whole way through. I was able to fill out parenting plans, calmly walk through custody options and lastly, she helped me navigate through personal items and how to split costs of assets/debts. I was dreading my divorce, everyone does, however I am thankful that I had a professional like Allison to assist me at any given time. My divorce was handled efficiently and with minimum ex wife problems. If anyone ever needs a dedicated knowledgeable lawyer you should definitely consider speaking with Allison! I can honestly vouch that it was my best decision for my situation that I made during that difficult time.

A little over a year ago, I needed a lawyer badly. Very badly. I walked into Chvatal King Law Office and Pat took one look at me after I handed her my paperwork and told me "We're taking you. Don't you worry a bit. We're gonna take care of you." I met with Allison and Debbie after that and they took control of things and set the pace. Great service, very knowledgeable, and the best part is they genuinely CARE about me and my family. This office helped me through one of the most painful experiences a person can take, and cheered me on the whole way through. I have nothing but positive things to say about my experience with this firm.

After consulting with lawyer, Allison, I felt like I have no rights at all to defend myself against my ex and his wife. In a nutshell, she told me that it's okay for people to accuse you of horrible things that are untrue, turn photos on social media into evils that aren't there, and harass you with no repercussions. She told me to watch what I post, ignore his and her harassments, just document everything, and that my daughters feelings regarding her father are just an exaggeration. My ex is an abusive alcoholic, but thats not in the parenting plan...so you're screwed. She told me that I'm at risk of my children being taken away because my daughters grades are bad. My oldest son's were bad until 9th grade, but now he goes to University of Washington with a 4.0 gpa. I would pay anything to protect my family and she was uncaring and rude. I'd never recommend this lawyer to a single person.

I thought I was getting a good lawyer for divorce but am very disappointed...
