I had Ms. King represent me in my divorce and was really happy with how my case was handled. She always returned my calls quickly and answered all my questions. Ms. King was always prepared to argue for me, but also let me know what other options I had, which I appreciated. I felt like she always had my best interests in mind and helped me to see the big picture. I would highly recommend her!

Ms. King represented me during my divorce and was the primary attorney responsible for the Divorce Decree, Parenting Plan, and Financial/Asset Allocation with the action. It is my opinion that Ms. King was completely unprepared to represent a father in a divorce case. She was unsympathetic, lax in her motions, and disengaged from me as her client. Her negotiations left me with 75% liability for future expenses associated with the children, less than 50% of my tangible and financial assets, and barely 20% of time with my children (even though my work schedule was supremely flexible). At such a critical point in my life, where I was looking for the professionalism and knowledge of my legal counsel to provide an appropriate defense, I found the engagement and experience to be inadequate. Since switching firms, I have been able to modify custody to 50/50 shared parenting and joint custody; thereby modifying my financial liability and the amount of time I spend with my kids.

From the moment I stepped into the office to the summation of my court case Chvatal law offices and Pat Chvatal were absolutely awesome! I was treated very well and I felt that my case was the only case that mattered to them. Rarely was there a continuance and I was never left in the dark about what was going on in my case. The outcome I received was better than I could have hoped for and the long term vision that this office has is impeccable! I didnt even think about half the things that they had me consider for the future of my custody and visitation, thankfully Chvatal Law did! They were able to negotiate a parenting plan that worked great for me and they have given me the opportunity to raise my child, even though the ex was trying to destroy that opportunity! Every time Defoe walked into court he walked out disappointed as Pat Chvatal successfully argued my case time and time again! I highly recommend her to everyone and anyone who needs an attorney, I have sent many friends to her office and they have all been satisfied.
