Mr. Nichols helped me resolve a major traffic ticket. I have no background in law and therefore did not understand everything that needed to be done to resolve this issue, but Mr. Nichols was very patient with me and explained everything in a clear way. Stuart has 2 cases for me. In 2009, he handled my car accident case, and kept me informed of everything that was going on with my case. If I was unsure about anything he was talking about, he took the time to explain all the terms that I was unclear about. I never felt like he forgot about my case or that I wasn't getting the attention I needed. He was right there any time there was a new development in the case, I and was immediately informed. He gave me great advice on what was coming, and what to expect. He settled the case and I was very happy with the results!
In 2011, he also handled my child custody case. He fought for everything that I wanted, and made sure that I was happy with the outcome. When I told him I wanted the child support portion to go through the state Child Support Enforcement Division, he was very clear, and expressed to the judge all of the facts that supported that portion of my case.
I would recommend Stuart to anyone, for both Motor Vehicle accidents, and family court issues!

We met Rick in 2003 when my husband was permanently injured on the job and forced to take an early retirement because of it. Rick has always been honest with us and put my husbands best interest first over the years in the many times that we have had to go attend hearings. He has also been a competent liaison between my husband and the 4 so far insurance companies that He has had to deal with over this. Would like to express my gratitude and appreciation to compensation lawyer Richard Ferguson with his guidance, knowledge and professionalism with Workman's Compensation. I was hurt on the job in July 2000 & my Union leaders advised me to get a compensation lawyer realizing that it was a serious accident. I would like to share a little bit about Steve and his staff...I was injured pretty badly in a fall at no fault of my own. Nervous , scared what I would do after Er visit and 3 surgeries later Mr Proudfoot assured me all would be ok and he would handle everything and he did handle everything. I didn't worry about anything if I called his office I always got an answer but honestly I didn't really have to call. I would just to ask if they got everything they needed I would have never guessed I would have been taken care of so well as I was with him and his staff . I will start by saying Mr proudfoot was not our first choice or our second but I will say third time definitely a charm. After my wife was involved in a motor vehicle accident where she was involved in personal property damage, we were left wondering what exactly we were liable for concerning the other party. So we did probably what mosth people do who fell victim to whoever had the catchiest commercial on TV take it from personal experience we were so wrong lol so my wife dialed 8 and of course all we did was wait. Our first attorney made phone contact we never met anyone from that office and quite frankly sat there stale and stagnant, so much for big city lawyers needless to say. We eventually made the right decision to call Steve Proud foot I was shocked right away we met face to face with not just a paralegal but with Steve directly he gave us a rundown of the procedure and what to expect . Then steve not only went above and beyond but had many face to face meetings. Throughout this journey you could tell overtime he actually cared about my wife, her needs and took care of our family needs. He was a big city lawyer with a small town heart and when he said not to worry he would take care of everything we actually believed him and he showed us that not only does he know the case law and procedure but he talked to us so we would understand. He did just that took care of my wife's needs got us a reasonable settlement without even stepping foot in a court room. So again he got us big city results and we never left our small town atmosphere. I needed urgent feedback about an Uber collision incident as a passenger in a different state, where Uber had been sued by the other driver, and Uber decided to blame me for the accident. I posted my questions here, and received several answers, most of little help, some just stating to hire an attorney. Ms Teitell responded promptly, and with such detail, sequentially, and so comprehensively that I immediately felt at ease. He provided me with all the steps I should take, and responded to my subsequent messages. I was able to call him and he was an absolute wonderful human being, reassuring me, and providing me with prescriptive advise that I was able to use. I followed his advice and my situation is already much improved. He was very knowledgeable, able to quickly spot all technicalities that could help me, the tricks the Uber attorneys tried to use, and made me feel so much better about the case. Mr. Blackwell and Nicole, dedicate themselves to providing the best legal representation available today. Mr. Blackwell is a fighter and uses every strategy possible to win the best settlement possible with the evidence and material at hand. His attention to detail is what makes Mr. Blackwell such a great lawyer.
It should be noted that, Mr. Blackwell doesn’t advertise on television, billboards, plaques or other media outlets. He relies solely upon references from his large list of satisfied clients.
Rest assured, Mr. Blackwell will take a case to trial if need be, to get the best possible outcome for a case. All of the lawyers you see advertising on the various media outlets, avoid going to court at all cost and will settle a case, out of court, often at the expense of their client.
Mr. Blackwell is well respected as an injury lawyer by his peers and Judges alike. In my case, opposing council was well aware that Mr. Blackwell would take my case to trial if an amicable settlement couldn’t be reached. That said, Mr. Blackwell forced opposing council to meet his demands to the letter.
After Mr. Blackwell was satisfied that we’d achieved the best possible settlement, opposing council, Mr. Blackwell and myself went to open court to have a Judge review and approve the settlement. In front of the Judge, I was interviewed by Mr. Blackwell and opposing council with regards to the settlement. Then, the Judge interviewed me to make sure that I was in agreement with the settlement too. After the Judge was satisfied on all counts, he addressed me by saying that he knew and respected Mr. Blackwell professionally and that he’s an outstanding injury case lawyer and that he believes that Mr. Blackwell has brought my case to the best possible conclusion.
In closing, I will personally recommend Mr. Blackwell and his staff to anyone that has an injury claim and needs the best possible legal representation.

Excellent trial lawyer!! Loyal, honest, hard-working, and a bulldog in the courtroom. Travis worked hard on a case for me out of the goodness of his heart. He believes in doing what's right and this situation was a prime example. Let me explain...someone filed a suit against me and my company. My insurance company denied the case, but I remember Travis saying he, "Couldn't let me go in the courtroom alone." There were times I had to tell him it was time to go home. He stopped at no end to see to it that justice was served in the case. I told him the Plaintiff was wrong, and not only did he believe me; he proved it. When we got our day in court, he was on fire. Sharp on the law and efficient with language. Ultimately, the judge directed a verdict of not liable and justice was served. We didn't have to pay any money to the Plaintiff!! The question is not whether you hire him or not, it's how bad could the situation could've been if you hadn't.

I was one of the first employees hired at a large manufacturing company in my area. I worked 21 years without ever making any suit for some pretty bad injuries I had at work. Then I hurt my back one day lifting some parts when no one was there to help me. It was so bad I crawled to the office. After two weeks of being at home in bed and my last check cashed I had no income. The company kept telling me they sent my claim to thier insurance company. Months went by and our mortgage was way past due. The phone didnt stop ringing and I had to hide my truck from the repo man. My friend said to call Attorney Ms. Michele.
