I injured my back last year at my job and although it took a long road to get here we reached a settlement . The primary person that I worked with was Johanna Hernandez not only was she professional, very compassionate, she is very smart and knowledgeable and got to back to me in a reasonable length of time . When I got injured, I followed all the rules with WC. I had no idea what I was doing and was left like a mouse on a wheel. I hired Felicia and things started to happen immediately...no more wheels. I got in to see a specialist and got the help I needed. If I asked for something of my doctor asked for something it was handled immediately or Felicia was on it. Breck and his team did a fantastic job with obtaining a better-than-expected resolution to the legal/financial I was faced with. More than that, the level of personal customer service I received was exceptional.
Breck always took the time to respond to me personally, frequently late into the evening and on weekends.
Even though my small case undoubtedly represented a very minor part of the firm's caseload, they understood that to me it was very important.

It has been 3 years since Jeffrey Wolfert took my case, and I am Happy to Report that my case has come to a close. It's was a real bumpy ride, however Mr. Wolfert and his staff stood by me and gave me the support and attention my case needed. Mr. Wolfert was able to secure a substantial settlement on my behalf, I wanted a Compromise and Release settlement and that he got for me, with my up front Medical Set Aside, along with the annual payout for Medical Services, I will NEVER have to go through the Insurance Company EVER to receive the ongoing care I will need for the rest of my life. I am so happy I hired this attorney. I have a brain tumor and was in dire need of a great attorney. He did not disappoint me. I was denied once from the Social Security ministration. Normally, I don't write reviews (as a busy working mom of a toddler..time is precious). However, my recent experience with attorney Andrew Shaffer was exceptional - above and beyond what I could have expected from an initial consultation. I recently had an initial consultation with Attorney Shaffer (following social distancing & mask of course) on behalf of my father. I was left thoroughly impressed and grateful for the following reasons:
1) Not once did he try to "market" or "sell" his service...which sometimes I get the sense when you contact some attorneys.
2 ) He was very patient - really took the time to review the facts related to my father's case and explained them to me in a way that I can understand.
3) At several points - he even frankly let me know that "given how close to the end the case is..it's not worth it for my father to pay him the fee. Instead, he simply offered me advice on how I can proceed with the case."
4) I can tell he knows his facts and is experienced with the complexity of the Worker's Compensation laws as well as which doctors would be most favorable in case of QME, etc.
Overall, unlike some other consultations I had with other attorneys (which typically took maybe ~15-20 min tops), Andrew spent almost an hour simply just providing me advice on how I can best proceed with the case on my own, if I so choose.
I'm a firm believer that actions speaks louder than words. Many individuals, attorneys included, can promise you a lot of things. However, at the end of the day, I think it's what they actually do, especially when they're not obligated to, that really says a lot about them.
For anyone who is unfortunate to suffer a work related injury, I really highly recommend that you contact Attorney Andrew Shaffer first. I only wished I had knew to do that at the very on-set. Schedule an initial consultaiton and see for yourself, don't just take my word.
In these crazy pandemic times, it's really comforting to know there are still people out there who are so willing to simply provide help.

The workers comp process is a lot more difficult than I would have ever imagined and I am glad to have found a good lawyer. Attorney Fred Beer help guide me through a long a difficult time. His advice and knowledge help to ease the stress and allow me to focus on my recovery.
He answered all of my questions and handled my concerns from beginning to end. All e-mails and phone calls were returned promptly and any issues were addressed right away. In addition he kept me well informed as to what would or may come next, staying on top of the situation all of the time.
Being properly advised of my rights I was able to get the best treatment possible and he even helped me to research doctors that were well suited to treat my injuries. After any procedures Attorney Beer followed up to make sure I was doing well and that everything went well.
From day one he made sure I received a fair wage during my time off and stayed on top of the insurance company when they fell behind in payments. He also made sure all medical bills were taken care of and in the end got me a fair settlement. All in all I would recommend him to anyone that has to go through the workers comp process. Jason took me through my bankruptcy case. At such a difficult time, he was extremely understanding and compassionate about my situation. He also made sure I was prepared for all the things that would or could come up throughout the process. Because of this, nothing in the process felt like a painful surprise, which made it much easier to get through psychologically. He was readily available to answer my questions, made me feel comfortable even asking potentially dumb questions, and had tremendous patience. With other professionals, you can sometimes feel like the lawyer etc is trying to keep your appointment as short as possible and they want to move on already to their next client. Attorney Readyoff represented us in a LL/tenant matter (as property owners) and we are confident his careful and measured approach was crucial in the matter being resolved quickly and without complication.
I was angry about the issue we brought to him, and without judgement of my emotions, he suggested a solution that initially seemed very procedural to me, but we fully committed to his recommendation.
