As a parent is it our duty to advocate for our children. We do the best we can and sometimes we may need additional assistance to advocate for our child. I was placed in that situation going up against my child's school and the school district. I didn't know who to turn to regarding my matter. We do not recommend this firm. Initially, we were assigned to Meldie, the owner, and we were eager to work with her due to her phenomenal reviews. We believed she would advocate strongly for our daughter regarding her 504 plan and bullying issue. However, we were quickly reassigned to Jessica Graham without any notice or explanation.
Our experiences with Jessica were disappointing. Together, we created a plan that included filing a formal complaint to the Board of Education and seeking reimbursement from the district for therapy costs related to the bullying. Unfortunately, she never truly fought for our child. She did not attempt to negotiate with the district, follow up, or push further when they said no—she simply gave up.
Although we initially planned to file a complaint, which she had recommended, towards the end of our engagement, she completely changed her stance and claimed that such an action would only serve as a “cathartic” experience for our child. We spent thousands of dollars and ended up with very little to show for it. This firm did not represent our family like the advocates they claim to be; they are just lawyers.

If you ever want to feel like you have to be a lawyer to talk to your lawyer, by all means hire this group. Hannah was quick to reply back when it came to withdrawing representation and got it signed by Judge same day, but didn't even bother to let me know until I looked on e-file and asked.
Any time I asked a question, she seemed irritated and bothered by me. She would pick apart my question and make me feel like i had to be a lawyer just to ask the question right. She would constantly interrupt me, raise her voice and just act like she had no time for me when she was the one who would request we do a phone consult!
She tried to get me to sign a final divorce decree that didn't even address any of the issues I asked (but yet still had to pay for them to write up something I didn't even want and then pay more out of my retainer to get it fixed).
When I would ask, she would take forever to get back to me and then if I emailed weeks later to ask about it, she would either blow me off or act irritated over the phone about it.
The only brightside was I was smart enough to request a copy of my bill (that they weren't sending regular so they could sneak in extra billable hours) and was able to get in writing that that would be refunded to me so she couldn't empty out the whole retainer out of pettiness.
She was not very empathetic at all. I ended up filing pro-se and finishing the rest myself and even editing parts of it even though she tried to sink me by saying I would have to hire a whole new attorney and be out double just to finish the last bit of it.

Having to deal with my legal issues was stressful. I don’t know what to expect. This review is long overdue. A dissolution is an extremely emotional and draining process period. The best thing you can do for yourself and for your child may not just be to get a divorce, but to work with a firm that genuinely cares about your circumstances and will fight tooth and nail for you. I get emotional just reflecting on how much more I got out of my dissolution than I could have ever imagined if it weren’t for Paul, Liz, and Linda. These 3 ARE the light at the end of the tunnel.
Who you work with MATTERS, especially if you’re involved in a high-conflict divorce with children involved. Do what’s best for yourself and your children and retain this firm. I originally booked a consultation last year with Pervaiz to discuss my options since I was going through divorce. I didn't have enough info for her during my 1 hour consultation so she cut my session short. So I ended up having a credit for 150$ from the 300$ hour consultation.
After I finalized my divorce amicably with my ex, I decided to reach out to schedule a consultation to write a Will. No Money was collected for this appointment, I just reminded them I had the credit still in my account and they confirmed. I called and emailed the day of my appointment to let them know I had a 103 fever and that I was very sick and I am not able to discuss anything related to a "Will". I mean how could you? With a high fever!! This is a serious topic and you need you full brain capacity to do so!!
Pervaiz refused to reschedule my appointment and they told me if I do not call at my appointment time that they will not allow me to reschedule.
I was diagnosed with the flu and pneumonia and they can clearly tell I am not making my sickness up from the way I was coughing. I offered to send a doctor's note however she just decided to take the credit I have left with them instead of being empathetic with my situation! This clearly shows you that she doesn't care about people! And she just knew I had a credit and took it!
Sickness happens and this unpredictable. I will not recommend her to anyone especially after what happened to me!

Gretchen was 100 percent on my side from the minute we met! I was wrongfully accused of 2 major felonies and could have been put in prison for a long time! Grant Scheiner was recommended to me by a friend when I found myself needing an Attorney. I was being charged with a felony and would soon be arrested. I was terrified and at a loss as to what to do. After my dad passed away in April 2024, my mom and I filed for Dependency and Indemnity Compensation (DIC) through the VA. Despite working with a VA liaison and following up for 10 months, we received no real updates—just that the claim was still pending. Then, my mom received a notice from the VA, which she mistakenly believed was a denial of the DIC claim. Unfortunately, even the local VA liaison misinterpreted it, causing a lot of confusion. Given that my dad’s passing was clearly linked to his disability, we realized we needed legal representation and turned to James Comerford.
From our first conversation, James took the time to listen, understand our situation, and guide us through the process. Initially, we thought we needed to file a rebuttal, but after investigating, he discovered the VA had actually misinformed us—the claim was still being processed. He assured us he would follow up, and shortly after, he called with the great news: the claim had been approved. Not only did he get us answers, but he also knew exactly when my mom would receive her benefits, including back pay.
When I asked James what we owed him, he refused payment—he was simply happy my mom received what she deserved. Even after I insisted, he suggested we make a donation to a charity instead, which we did. His generosity, professionalism, and genuine care for his clients truly set him apart.

After my dad passed away in April 2024, my mom and I filed for Dependency and Indemnity Compensation (DIC) through the VA. Despite working with a VA liaison and following up for 10 months, we received no real updates—just that the claim was still pending.
