We had been trying to work through getting an adoption done for almost 10 years. Due to issues with the biological father it was one failed attempt after another. I had finally decided to try and take care of it on my own and contacted the Juvenile office in Springfield to get more info on what my steps would be. She referred me to Elise Baker. I was hesitant to call because I had called numerous lawyers in the past and everyone wanted a $300 to $500 fee just to talk to them about my case before even taking it on. No one wanted to give out any suggestions or even hear me out without money in their pocket 1st. A lot of lawyers didn't seem hopeful of our situation. I went ahead and gave her a call I went ahead and gave her a call as a last ditch effort. Not only did she get on the phone with me without a consultation fee but she walked me through everything I would need to do in order to take care of it myself. All of the information I needed, the steps I would need to take, and suggestions on how to get it done. I was blown away by how freely she was willing to help without any fees up front. I was incredibly grateful and asked if she would just go ahead and be our lawyer. She accepted. Not only was her price about half of the price of all the other lawyers I had talked to but she was incredibly friendly and spoke layman terms and made the process as easy as this kind of process could be. We worked together for months building our case and getting all of the necessary information together and as of December 17, 2021 all 3 of our children have been adopted! 10 years in waiting and it's finally done! I would recommend Elise to anyone looking to to get an adoption done.

I could not be happier with the gartner law firm. I was referred to them by a friend also in the legal field. Right away when I talked to matt gartner about my particular work comp case he was very easy to talk to and did not give me that "salesman vibe" I would know as I am a salesman by profession. Matt did an excellent job explaining all the ins and outs of my particular case and looked at everything in a very objective fashion.
Now I will say you must be patient with this process! You will not get results overnight. You must be patient to get the best result. That being said I'd be more than happy to suggest anyone with personal injury or work comp matters to consider the gartner law firm. This is truly the best lawyer anyone could ever get. My ex had already filed papers and It was Friday when I met and retained Steve. I had court the following Thursday. I was very skeptical as many are when getting a attorney. Steve worked quick and fast. He filed things promptly and quick. I would recommend him to anyone that I know. I am impatient and probably wasn't the easiest client to deal with. Steve was their every step of the way. He explained exactly what was going on every time something would happend and exactly what to do. If you listen and follow what he says then it will go in your favor as it did mine. My custody situation was exhausting and lasted almost 2 years. I got in the end exactly what I wanted. His prices were very reasonable as well. He has been a lawyer forever and has seen it all as he did in my case. I suggest be honest and straight forward and tell him what you would like your outcome to be and he will tell you what to do to make it happen. His assistant Lisa is the sweetest lady ever. We had a very difficult adoption situation that required some one who was extremely knowledgeable in adoption law and had years of experience with adoption cases. I've had to good fortune to know Parker since she was recommended to me during my divorce some 20 years ago. Through the years, we've stayed in touch, and I have recommended her to numerous friends in need of help with divorce or adoption. Hands down, Parker is one of the best family practice attorneys in the region. As impressive as her command of the legal ins and outs of divorce, what I found - and still find - most impressive is her command of how to manage the emotional aspects of divorce (especially when children are involved as was the case with my case) with the negotiation strategies that's needed. Parker's advice was spot on about when, what and how I should advocate for myself, and her focus on the long term picture helped me navigate the short-term emotional mess when a marriage dissolves. When I felt indignant or angry over a counter-offer about some minor debt my "future former" and I shared, Parker wisely counseled, "Roger, in the long run this is pocket change. It's not worth the fight because there are more important issues for us to take a stand on."
And she was right. Years later that advice to focus on what's really important in the long-run (that helped design a fair separation agreement that didn't engender long-term resentment) helped us work through a particularly thorny financial issue. And Parker was there right by my side again offering just the right guidance to help me come out of that negotiation (we were able to avoid court, thankfully) in a = good place. Moreover, Parker went out of her way to help keep my legal costs to a minimum.
Parker's a great attorney, a great individual and I'm proud to say a great friend. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

“I now live in PA but needed a lawyer in Washington State to help with my Paternity/Child Custody issues. Terry L Smith help me out of a bad situation, possible DV 4th degree assault charge, he kept me informed with what the prosecutor was offering, he went to bat for me and the charges were dropped to anger management two years probation, other lawyers I talked to said to plead guilty, he took the case and now I get to keep my guns and life is fantastic, he is now again working for me on the divorce and looks like a may keep most of my stuff, folks you need this guy in your corner don't go to court with out him, and the bill was well worth it and he im sure will work with if you don't have the money up front . Amy represented me in a long, difficult divorce. On top of my heartbreak, I needed a lawyer who was professional and even tempered. She filed a timely counterclaim, which was essential in getting family support early on. We had numerous hearings, and she was effective in court also. We hired Alli Keller after going to a famous downtown firm that advertised themselves as the best. They were the best in billing us timely for barely any results. They nickeled and dimed us, and did not even call us to explain to us what our adoption process would be like. When we raised the issue that we needed more information, they showed us the door, and thank god we found Alli Keller's firm. Her entire office was very caring, and she cared very much about our family situation and our child. I am happy to tell of my professional relationship with Alexandra Keller.
Since moving to the Seattle area from California, I wanted to assure that my estate documents were up to date and legally binding in the state of Washington.
I found a number of lawyers who could help me. When I asked for a price estimate, I found that some required money upfront or a retainer fee. Others stated that their fee would be as much as $350 an hour but would not give a time estimate. I could not promise an unspecified amount without a price range estimate. When I contacted Alexandra, telling her exactly what I wanted, she told me that iwould be $400 - $800.
She rewrote my Revocable Living Trust, my Will, a Durable Power of Attorney for Finance, a Durable Power of Attorney for Health Care, and a Health Care Directive. Due to a family death, I needed my trust agreement to reflect a change. I have been extremely pleased with the five newly written documents. Alexandra did charge the $800, but justifiably so. She made several helpful suggestions for my consideration while writing these documents. and it all takes time and effort.
When we met for the final signing and notarization, she went over everything allowing me to ask questions. She followed up by sending me an itemized statement of her charges and wrote off all of the extra time to stay within her stated estimate. She also sent forms upon which to list personal tangible property, naming a recipient for those items that do not need to be included in any other document.
You will find Alexandra to be very kind and patient, very intelligent, and focused upon service that meets your needs.
If in the future I have any legal needs, I will seek counsel with Alexandra. If a concern is outside her area of expertise, I know she will make a wise referral. In addition, I want to add that her office is easy to get to, on 35 th Avenue, close to the University with ample free parking.

My 85 year old Father and I live in Pennsylvania. We had a family member who lived in Tennessee with which we needed to bring legal action against.
