i have been trying to get a call back from them for almost 2 months and they either simply refuse or keep dropping the ball. I've called 4 times, give them a little info about my case and am told someone will reach out to me to discuss further. and its always nothing. I already have an attorney who has been given an offer on my behalf for the injury, i wanted a second opinion. this firm won't even tell me if they can or cant help me which would be greatly appreciated because i really wanted their representation. i would happily remove this statement if i can just get a little acknowledgement!

This is my first (and hopefully my last) review of a law firm. A few years ago, my wife was involved in a collision involving a truck and a school bus I called the law firm of Panish | Shea | Boyle | Ravipudi, which proved to be a VERY wise decision. One of their senior partners, Tom Schultz, issued a preservation of evidence letter almost immediately, and they hired accident reconstruction experts to evaluate the location, speed, and impact of each vehicle involved long before a police report was even available. They were several steps ahead of the defense right out of the gate. James Trotter and John Shaller were meticulous about preparing discovery responses and pre-trial documents, and my wife was well-prepared to testify, both for deposition and trial. Moreover, the firm did not delegate critical activities to paralegals, interns, or junior lawyers. Tom Schultz personally defended my wife’s deposition (and mine). Their experts destroyed the defense experts – it was so one-sided that they could have just called the defense experts in our case in chief. I have been a California litigator for more than two decades, so I researched Verdicts & Settlements for all sorts of similar injury cases. Schultz told me “I don’t like these numbers at all – we are going to fight hard and ring the bell for your wife”. They did just that. I observed them prepare numerous witnesses for trial and all of their legal pleadings were impeccable. They worked the case as if it was the most important file in their office from start to finish. Perhaps the most profound example of this was when they deployed FOUR attorneys, Tom Schultz, James Trotter, John, Shaller, and Brian Panish to conduct a mock trial in front of jurors to get an independent assessment of the strengths and weaknesses of the case, and also to determine which jurors to select at trial. Long story short, we got within a few days of trial (after the final status conference) and they settled the case for about 3x what I had expected from the median award in Verdicts & Settlements. I’ve been the lead lawyer in several big trials and second chaired many more, but I’ve never seen anyone like these guys litigate and prepare for trial. Most lawyers are motivated by recovering fees but after watching PSBR work on my wife’s case I could see that their compensation is an ancillary by-product of their work – their primary motivation is to win, and they seem more than willing to deploy enormous resources to ensure a just result. I hope and pray that you will NEVER need to call an injury law firm in California or Nevada. But if you ever do Panish | Shea | Boyle | Ravipudi are (by far) the best!
