John Holland was great from the beginning. With him being my 3rd lawyer on my case. Needless to say future lawyers, at the time of contact, weren't to interested in taking a case two other lawyers have been removed, fired, from. John listened to what I had to say and the problems I was having with previous lawyers. He was the only lawyer that "didn't" tell me, right from the start, "Oh, a father getting full custody of his young child is NOT likely to happen in the State of SC. " But of course they would do all they could and take my case. Leading absolutely no where. Then I met John Holland. I honestly don't believe he believed much of what I had to say. After all, I had already gone through 2 attorneys. He was straight up and let me know that if what I was telling him was on the up and up he would take the case. As time went by it was obvious that what I had been saying was true. John gave me the benefit of the doubt and worked extremely hard on my case. Never once mentioning in "SC Father's don't get custody". Well I'm hear to tell all the Father's out there, don't buy into the hype. Great lawyers can achieve great things. Took 6 years total. The last couple years with John fighting for me. As of July 29, 2022 I am happy to say I have full custody of my son. If your a Father that believes you should have custody of your children then fight for that. If you decide to fight, especially in SC, than you'll need a great attorney. John Holland is your man. If you don't give up than John won't either.

If I could give more than five stars I would, I was involved in a motor vehicle accident and it took five years before it went to trail. Ive only known him for about an hour before my trail, and I wish i had hired him sooner, in the court room he had facts and evidence to a Tee. He was able to get me the maximum amount that was allowed for my case, and it really put me at ease, not the money but how he interacts with his clients. This was my first court accident and sitting on the stands i felt so much more at ease. He really cares about his clients and can sympathize with them as well. Most lawyers only car about winning the case and the big check but he actually took his time to go over every piece of my case no matter how small it seemed. He was able to answer every question and never left me in doubt. The minimum amount for my case was $10,000 and he was able to reach the maximum 15 times over. Honestly the only lawyer youll ever need for a personal injury case.

Attorney Peter Thomas was assigned my case for trial in Queens County. I asked about him before I met him and found that he is both respected and feared. Respected as a prepared and experienced litigator and feared by his adversaries as lawyer who gets big money verdicts. While I was pleased to hear such feedback I was not sure if the facts of my case needed a guy like him. Turns out the other lawyer lied to the jury and made ups facts that were not part of my case. I saw Mr. Thomas politely rip into the other attorney and tell the jury to focus on my case. He was riveting to watch during summation. The jury was consulting for 2 days and gave me a great verdict. I was very pleased to have met him and had him as my lawyer. I have a new lawyer now and will always call Mr. Thomas for any legal questions.

I hired Norm to recover property I had leased to a third-person who was no longer paying on the lease. Norm immediately took action, filing for a TRO and TI, bringing the lessee to Court immediately. Before the Court heard our case, Norm was able to negotiate with the third-party a new lease that required a higher monthly payment and certain other terms that, if violate, permitted the immediate and non-judicial recovery of the property. During the term of the new lease, Norm worked to make sure that requirements were met on a timely basis. I found Norm to be accessible, knowledgeable and very trustworthy. His work was excellent and my results were more than I expected. I would recommend Norm for any litigation matter and will be hiring him again should the need arise.

I want everyone to know that my personal experience with Mr. Kloosterman on two legal cases we faced with Mr. Kloosterman, in my opinion, and many others who I know, that know him, is that he is one of the best attorneys not only in East Tennessee but possibly the whole state of Tennessee.
Mr. Kloosterman has honor and integrity; I have witnessed this in and out of the courtroom and in trial. He fights for his clients, but at the same time, he also knows what is right not only as an officer of the court but also as a man of God. Everyone I have ever spoken to regarding Mr. Kloosterman, including other lawyers, judges, and state representatives, all have said nothing but the highest regard and respect for Mr. Kloosterman. He is very diligent and respectful to all. In our cases, he was very thorough, doing legal research citing the law to opposing counsel and the judges. Kloosterman helped me to have visitation with my only son while a scumbag named Todd tried to delay it for two years so I couldn't even see him ever, Dylan is very happy and doing well despite Todd. Dylans whole life has turned around for the better, me and his mother are getting along and would like to pursue damages against Todd and his little law firm. I'm hoping that Stephen Todd will be disbarred and dismissed for unethical behavior as I had to blackmail him into showing up to mediation because I had photo and video evidence that he was intentionally delaying meditations for over 4 months. Todd not only disrespected the courts but he also violated his oath, please someone report him and have him removed as an attorney.

Mr. Pusch was a huge help when a delivery truck ran a red light and into the driver side of my vehicle. This being my first major wreck, I had no idea what to do, but Mr. Pusch was knowledgeable and guided me through every step of the process. Thank God for Wesley Southerland! He and his team went above and beyond for me after I had a car accident which resulted in a head injury (vision damage & memory issues) and neck/back injuries. The other driver was 100% at fault, but his insurance company refused to pay enough to even cover my medical costs. Wesley negotiated hard and long without giving up. He got me the maximum amount the other driver's policy covered! The settlement was five times more than the original offer AND Wesley accomplished this without us ever having to go to court! This was far more than I'd expected and such a relief.
I've worked with attorneys in other capacities on several occasions, and this team was by far the best of them all. They were prompt with communications and very understanding when I had other life issues that interfered with the progress of the case. Everyone in his office was a pleasure to work with. Well as a protection, in the event, a wreck occurs it is the law to have car insurance. And as I've seen that work or not in my case, still a wreck leaves you hurt in more than one way- opening you up as a target for more devices. Why does this attorney merit 5 stars? Foremost, my family and I would love to express our gratitude to Matthew Zar. For everything he did for us from 2019 to April 28, 2021.
To start of, our situation was a nightmare. Our house suffered some damages. A complete nightmare because of our insurance’s lack of empathy. For not wanting to provide adequate protection or reimbursement against the losses. To almost want to have my family and I living in the streets.
They advertise the best insurance with high reputation, but in my experience. When it comes to an emergency you’re left with little to no protection.
Our situation was tough, because not only did we pay our mortgage but we also have to move in to an apartment. That resulted in a lot of debt. A situation that would have been avoided if my insurance would have jumped into action and assisted in the beginning.
At first, I have to admit I wasn’t too knowledgeable of Matthew. At that moment, I didn’t have much trust due to the stress I was in. Worried that I wouldn’t be able to provide a roof for my my three little children. Soon after, I immediately learned that there is good people out there. People with the best intentions and are aware of your needs. That person is Matthew Zar. He personally picked his phone and listened to me. I begged him to get us out of this horrible dilemma caused by the ineptitude of our insurance.
I had lost all hope at some point and yes I didn’t think there was a way out of this predicament. And as I previously said, my thoughts quickly changed when I started seeing Matthew fighting for our case. In one of those few mediations that we were able to join.

So I was riding my bike to work and some lady hit me with her car. I got in contact with these guys and they handled all of the details of my case quickly, and answered any questions I had along the way. Hayden was instrumental in getting the best outcome possible, all charges were dismissed! I was facing very serious criminal charges and never having faced any criminal charges before, he informed me of all that I was up against and all the possible outcomes. The legal process was pretty long but he was able to respond either by phone calls or emails and keep me up to date with the progression of my case. He was able to get all my charges DISMISSED, including a Felony! This was not a typical outcome for what I was facing and I can’t say enough to thank him for getting my life back on track. That was my friend' recommendation for my hit&run case and I could not ask for better lawyer. Caring, explaining every detail of the case, always available and my check in the end over exceeded my expectations.
Also probably worth mention that my case had one more injured person (almost similar injuries) who went with another lawyer and as far as I know got in the end much smaller paycheck.
I hope my friends would never need that kind of services, but in case they will - I have a really awesome and aggressive lawyer recommendation for them.

I reached out to Paula when I was in dire need of guidance and changes I needed to make to my child custody orders in order to move. My orders were with the Dallas court system so the job was not as easy, but she took on the challenge with open arms. She worked with them and myself to get orders served to my child's father in Dallas. We got a quick court date and she took the time to travel with me to Dallas to speak to the judge.
