First of all, in today's day and age it is rare to go to trial. Deals are made and unless there is a life sentence at stake or someone is wrongly accused, there will not be a trial. If I was innocent, I would have rode with Beau till the wheels fell off but like most that get charged, I was guilty as guilty gets. No need for trial. Still, I should have received a 10 year sentence under Virginia guidelines and Beau navigated me over the mountains that were in front of me in order to fight for a fair and lesser sentence. That included me staying clean and being a successful and productive member of society. We continued to push back the final sentencing date until I had to finally face my punishment. During this year and a half I put together a beautiful life and a successful future was almost a guarantee, unless the judge went by my record and the guidelines. Beau really saw the change I had made and I think that is why he made sure the Commonwealth and judge knew the whole story. He fought very hard for me and I have seen him do the same for others that were serious about changing their lives. I received 11 months. Incredible to say the least. That was 2010 and I still am in contact with him and send anyone who needs proper representation his way. My wife and 7 year old are grateful for him as well!

Even though I was still convicted, Beau was an amazing lawyer who did everything he could to at least lighten my sentence. He was successful in doing so as well! I managed to get just probation that lasted two months! I was a hard client to work with as well, but he worked around that. I've had three lawyers in my eighteen years, and this man is by far the best, the most professional, and the most caring. If I ever have any more legal trouble, I'll be sure to go back to him!

I unfortunately, waited too long to finally take that first step to obtaining some legal assistance from a vehicle collision. If I had it (which I hope I do NOT) to do over again, I would have sought the legal advice immediately after I noticed pain as result of the accident. Although, I was reluctant to obtain a lawyer, I couldn't be more satisfied with the services and advise Mr. Geren provided. He is knowledgeable, willing to listen, and works diligently to understand his client's needs and demands. Most of us just want to be treated fairly when unfortunate situations arise that are beyond our control. Like many unfortunate Americans, I too fell hard on economic times with job and home loss. With limited income the collection calls immediately poured in followed by civil court judgements from credit card companies and their collectors. I was sunk, both financially and mentally. I felt trapped. Depression soon set in along with fear. Fear of the unknown, being served, garnished wages and additional court judgements. When I made that difficult decision to file BK7 I was referred to Anthony and he honestly did an AMAZING job handling my case. I am so grateful for that referral. I couldn't have asked for a better representative. After filing and making a brief appearance before the BK Trustee (which isn't as frightening as you think especially with Anthony by your side), my case closed and my BK was discharged a couple short months later. I was having problems with getting correct information from my Insurance Carrier after a Non-Insured Drunk Driver T-boned my car. As soon as Justin was hired, the Insurance company was more co-operative with giving information about my case. I contacted Blake immediately after being in a head on collision and I am so happy I did. He was very helpful in guiding us on what we needed to do so that we where not only safe and taken care of, but understood what was happening. Mr. Green is a highly professional, compassionate and friendly person. He took all of the members of my household into consideration when working for me. My youngest daughter is wheelchair bound and I have to lift her numerous times a day. My accident left me with permanent damage to my lower back and neck; most days I struggle to get up/down from the floor and am in pain when lifting. I was involved in an accident caused by a semi truck and sustained an L-1 compression fracture. I was taken by ambulance to the ER and it was a good 6 months before I was able to do simple everyday things without too much pain. I knew I would need an personal injury attorney and asked around. A friend recommended her husband's college buddy, Blake Green.
I contacted Blake and he came to see me in St. Louis. I was very favorably impressed by his down-to-earth demeanor and straightforward responses to my questions. I asked him for references and he provided several. I contacted all of them and was again very favorably impressed by what I heard.
I agreed to retain him and was pleasantly surprised that his contract was very simple and straightforward, with no fine print. Once I signed the contract and releases, Blake got busy getting all pertinent records and drafting a claim.
Throughout the process, Blake either reached out to me with updates or responded immediately when I emailed him about the case. The claim he prepared was very thorough and after he sent it to the defendant, he kept following up with them to keep the negotiations rolling. During the negotiations, he offered me the option to be kept as well or little informed as I preferred. I was happy to leave the details in his competent hands. After a few months of back and forth, Blake procured a very favorable settlement.
I am an engineer by profession and have dealt with many attorneys, some good, some not so much. Blake is one of the finest I have had the pleasure to work with. My only complaint about him is that his practice does not include business law since I'd hire him in a heartbeat!

I was surprised recently by the police knocking at my door, serving me papers, which turned out to be a filing in a Florida Court for Domestic Violence, from a family member! I live in New York State.
I immediately turned to my real estate attorney here in NY for any reference she may have in Florida, since, now I must appear in person, in Florida before a Judge. My local attorney, immediately recommended Ms Fazio without a moments hesitation. She told me she had personal legal/business relationship and direct experience with Ms Fazio. Being from NY, and always being skeptical of lawyers ( NOT anymore btw) I of course 'Googled" Ms Fazio, and found she has a video series, of her explaining several legal issues. Wow, this was great, I got see her, and see how she acts, speaks, and thinks. The power of social media. I did not hesitate to contact Ms Fazio that day. One major factor in my enthusiasm with Ms Fazio, was the fact she personally answered a 2-3 page email to my local (NY) attorney, outlining my options, and a solid plan on how to move forward with this case. Ms Fazio did not know me at all prior to this, as she obviously spent/invested some of her valuable time just answering the email with a detailed legal opinion. I received a call back from Ms Fazio personally with the day I left her a message. Great lawyers don’t just respond when their phone rings, they make other people’s phones ring. The initial court hearing was the next day, as there was no way I could be in Florida, in court the next morning. Ms Fazio told me that she will attend the hearing, and ask for an extension, given the fact I was only served the papers the day before. Her plan worked brilliantly. We received a one month delay to prepare. Again, MY phone rang immediately after the hearing, with Ms Fazio completely explaining to me what happened and why, and how she navigated the court hearing in our favor. Over the month, we spent many hours on the phone, outlining the history of the case, along with many email/electronic communications. Ms Fazio conducted many hours of research, and other legal issues with the local courts in Florida. The day of the court hearing, I received yet another call from Ms Fazio, saying to meet her at her offices, 2 hours before the hearing. I was warmly greeted by Ms Fazio, recognizing her immediately from her video series. We sat down in one of her conference rooms, and she completely outlined, in detail what to expect each step of the way , and the process overall. She intently listened to all of my questions and concerns. I have never been in court in this manner in my entire life, so being a bit nervous was an understatement. We proceeded to the court house, and every small detail she explained to me actually happened, so NO surprises at all.
The court hearing commenced, as being totally prepped, and prepared from her, I started to feel very confident in her logic and the proceedings. ( A little TV legal show drama also helps).
Ms Fazio was the utmost professional attorney I have seen in court. Very knowledgeable of the proceedings, the law and process, and was even quite cordial to my family member and her attorney, and of course the Judge. Ms Fazio had a solid plan going into the hearing, which worked perfectly. She succinctly dismantled the opposing attorneys case bit by bit, and even managed to get the Judge to admonish the opposing attorney several times! Needless to say, we won the case on solid ground, and the merits of Ms Fazios direction, guidance and most importantly, understanding of the law.
I could not thank her enough, as shed did fulfill our contractual agreement, and did fully explain everything that COULD have happened to me, both good and bad, alerting me to fact that things may not go our way, depending upon opposing council, and my family members testimony. So she was very upfront and frank about all outcomes and consequences.

I had a very, very tricky Personal Injury ("slip and fall") case that my own attorney eventually rejected. It's got a lot of risk, it involves attorney-expense, time, etc. It's against a Major Bank who vigorously defends such claims, etc. For so many reasons it's WRONG for the top attorneys in this field.
Many or most who either hung-up on me or didn't call back, write back, acknowledge receipt of previous attorney's Demand Letter, etc. Even my own attorney was very lukewarm and unable to give this much time. I understood and understand it all. The fact that an attorney showed interest at all buoyed my surgery and necessary physical rehab, which took a good six months just to again walk. So either way I won, either way this turned out well because I'm walking again, in the gym, exercising, etc.
Attorney Katz was just awesome in that he spent some time on the phone (despite being busy and involved in at LEAST one other trial). Returned all calls. If he said and says he'll call he does and did. I was just amazed at the Class-Level given the fact this Slip-and-Fall case is not an attractive proposition. I knew when my first attorney said he's bailing that it was a one-shot thing, a Demand Letter then everyone go home. People have to make a living, pay the rent, it has to make sense for these top guys.
From what I understand, Attorney Katz is about as "Tops" as it gets. My first attorney was SURPRISED
to hear Attorney Katz expressed ANY interest. (thought maybe I misunderstood or had wax in my ears).
He said REALLY, Richard M. KATZ returned a call on this - wow - did Attorney Katz SEE the Demand Letter?! Which just shows how other attorneys in this field regard Attorney Katz - as the top of the top.
I'm writing this because I just got off the phone with Attorney Katz.
He AGAIN called back (each time I'm shocked), this is THIRD time even though he senses/knows there's nothing very strong - or unusual - or favorable about my position.
Which is okay, as written I recovered, I'm well, I'm exercising again - as written the THOUGHT there might be compensation for a difficult year BUOYED my rehab, at least gave me some hope.
So Attorney Katz, just wanted to come here, reflect on what a class guy you are - and how anyone needing a top Los Angeles-Pasadena-Glendale-based attorney should first consult you.

A commercial customer canceled my contract and refused to pay the outstanding invoice, a five figure sum. David took on my case after direct appeals failed to product any results.
David is a careful, detailed listener and assembled a fairly complete picture of the situation by the end of our first phone call. Subsequently, he spoke with other involved parties, prepared the necessary affidavits, and filed suit in Norfolk Superior Court.
His preparation is very thorough, exploring multiple avenues of enforcing the payment of my invoices. Ultimately, he presented my case in Superior Court with clarity and force. When the judge compliments your attorney on his presentation, you know you've picked a winner.
