I was injured at work and needed surgery. I was handling my case myself up to the point that my surgery failed and my doctor was saying that I was fine and could go back to work even though I was not fine. Mr. Morris found me a much better doctor. After a second surgery I feel better although not 100%. Mr. Morris did a good job of keeping me informed during the process. In the end my case settled. I am happy with my settlement. Mr. Morris did a great job.

My case was a civil lawsuit involving oral contract in title ownership of realestate property. I was the plaintiff. Candice Bryner along with Tumy Nguyen represented me. If you as any lawyer an oral contract which involve in realestate is very hard case to prove. But Candice and Tumy took on my case and they were very honest and strategic. The defendant was represented by a big law firm in Long Beach. As the case went on the defendant lawyers created a mount of paper work to harass me, but Candice worked day and night to protect me and she did very well with caring thoughts. After settlement was not reached, my case went to trial. As you all know going to war you must be well prepared, Candice and Tumy was very prepared and they prepared me very very well. Cut to the chase, I won my lawsuit and the jury award me ownership of my property including damages. An honest and experienced lawyer is most important when your case is difficult, Candice M Bryner and Tumy Nguyen are as best as they come.

I am not sure that 4000 characters for this response would be enough to explain my case and what Joseph (Yosi) Avrahamy did for me. It was a very long and complicated matter. Yosi represented me in an employment case against a major police department that I worked for. The allegations consisted of harassment, failure to promote, discrimination and retaliation. Fighting my particular law enforcement agency is one of the most difficult battles that one can take on. They don't play fair and will stonewall and lie at every turn to win. My case was no exception. However, Yosi was unphased by all this and stood by me from beginning to end. He believed I had a good case and never wavered in his support of me. The battle was long and I always felt that I was a part of the process. Yosi kept me informed every step of the way, which is huge when you are going through something as stressful as a lawsuit. Many lawyers do not do this. I know because I worked around a group of lawyers before I found myself in the precarious position that I was in. Yosi is the exception (in a good way) not the rule for most lawyers. And finally and most importantly, Yosi never made you feel that money was the most important thing to him in the case. By this I mean, that he actually made you feel that what happened to you mattered while also trying to win your case for you and achieve a satisfactory monetary outcome. In the end, my police department settled out of court with me. Something that they do not do unless they think that they could actually lose and lose big. They are very stubborn that way. It was Yosi's expertise and past victories that made them think twice about trying the case before a jury. I would highly recommend him. He is a great lawyer, but more importantly, he is a great person.

I’m a 36-year-old software engineer living in the Midwest. Most of my early life I never had good credit. 3 months ago my credit scores were 580 low 600s. I was a passenger in a vehicle that was struck by another vehicle that ran a stop sign. I was hurt badly. The company that was insuring the vehicle I was in was giving me the run around, while the insurance company of the at fault driver was completely ignoring me. I needed help fast. A friend of mine suggested Wattel and York, so with hesitation I sent off an email. Within literally 5 minutes I received a phone call. Much to my surprise it was the attorney’s office, and not just a paralegal or legal assistant. The ACTUAL attorney called me and discussed my case! I went in the following day for a consultation and they took my case. Throughout the whole process, all I can say is how wonderful this firm is. From their legal assistants and paralegals all the way up the lawyers themselves. They’re timely and accurate in their communication, whether it is over email or telephone. I could call and talk with the attorney anytime, and they would drop what they were currently doing to answer any questions I had. My fear and despondency disappeared with sweet release as I read the demand letter that Michael York sent to the insurance companies. It was extremely well written and was “matter of fact” in its demands. The insurance companies paid out in full all that was requested from the demand letter without hesitation. I would HIGHLY recommend this law firm to anyone who was injured in an automobile accident. This law firm really does fight for you!

Thankfully, I've led a benign life. I learned when I was very young from my wise parents that life by itself is difficult enough without negatively encountering the law. I went to college with those who became attorneys, and have known attorneys through working for charities we had in common, but I never needed legal representation until I was nearly 65 years old.
It was a horrific traffic accident I was in nearly three years ago that first caused me to find and secure an attorney. There were several that urged me to contact the firm Wattell & York, one friend, having been in the same circumstance years ago, saying, “You don't stand a chance against the insurance companies. Its against their best interest and bottom line that they pay out claims of any size to anyone.”
My first conversation after registering was with Michael York, one of the general partners of the firm. He took his time explaining in layman's terms the course ahead, then invited me to contact him at any time I had a question, concern, or thought. He was terrific and put any trepidations I had to rest. And my confidence in he and his team only grew as my case unfolded. When complexities arose, and they always do, I was so impressed and appreciative of his long and detailed correspondence, clearly articulating options.

Like most, I never expected that I would find myself going through a divorce. This, however, was not the worst part of it. I was served with a temporary DVRO from my ex-wife that was full of the most slanderous statements that I ever could have imagined and an expressed desire to move out-of-state with our 6-year old daughter. I was feeling scared, desperate, and nearly without hope.

Erin Hardister is without a doubt, the brightest attorney out there. Because of her, My Boys will now have the opportunity to go to college. A simple "Thank you" to her in no way would suffice. She is VERY bright, and I Thank God that she's not like other attorneys out there who're just out to get a big lump sum of money and put no effort into it. She is not a 9 to 5'er like most that have represented me in this case that's dragged on for more than 7 years, and I've had some with more than 20 years under their belt, but that means nothing if you're scared to rebut the state and stand up and actually talk to the judge, versus being a scared puppet. I mean, what attorney would send you an email at 10:00pm, OR be willing to take your phone call? This case started in May of 2012. I've had several attorneys. I hired her mid April of 2019, and YESTERDAY, May 1st, she did what all those other attorneys didn't and couldn't do. My Boys are My Absolute EVERYTHING, and because of her, they now will have the Opportunity to go to college. I have no doubt that regardless of whether it was Family Law or Criminal Law, Erin would be on her game......I can truly see her one day being a judge, and a fair one at that, but I'd hope that she'd stay as an attorney so the smart ones that hire her can actually get the help and JUSTICE that they (and their kids if they are in a Family Law Case) deserve!!!
