I hired Candyce Leeper in 2018 to take care of a real estate matter. I had entered into a contract to purchase a home from a private party. I gave her my down payment, paid the property taxes and insurance to her directly and never missed a payment. During the horrible storms we had in 2015 my home took on major damage. Considering my name was not yet on the deed (which was wrong) I was unable to get insurance on my own, Upon contacting the party I was purchasing from about the damage, she called the insurance and they came out and accessed the damage.
I continued to call the owner because I had not heard anything about the damage and she would constantly put me off.
All the while I had black mold growing on the ceiling in my laundry room, not to mention water leaking from an overhead light in the laundry room when it rained. I contacted Ms. Leeper and hired her to represent me and my interest in the property.
Ms. Leeper found out that the insurance company had paid the claim directly to the party I was buying the home from and they did NONE of the repairs.
Ms. Leeper also learned that due to the insurance pay out in 2015. The insurance had been cancelled and the taxes were not being paid! And no other insurance company would insure the house with the current damage.
Long story short, the house ended up becoming condemned due to the black mold Ms. Leeper was able to get my down payment back, all of the insurance monies I had paid over the 4 year period, the taxes I had paid over the 4 year period, as well as damages for my personal property that had been ruined. I was also released from my obligation to buy the house due to breach of contract on the part of the seller.
Ms. Leeper and her staff were superb in responding to my phone calls and walking me through the entire process. I was treated with the utmost respect and really felt that Ms. Leeper was looking out for my best interest.
I have since hired her to set up my will and trust.

Initially contacted Chris to handle my divorce and he surprised me with his knowledge of what could possibly be happening in regards to my spouses behavior. He was excellent with his communication and if he couldn't answer the phone he always called me back in a reasonable amount of time. Chris represented me in a matter. Although, Chris did not always return my calls or emails on the drop of a dime, he did return them. As a paralegal, this is more than I can say for many attorneys. Sometimes this is because they are avoiding you and sometimes, it is simply because they are busy and/or have a case that has a sooner deadline than yours. Family matters can take years to resolve. Although mine was not a family matter, Chris did a great job in Court. Chris knew all the right things to say and when to say them. He was great with communicating with me and my family during the hearing. Chris had such a passion for what he was doing and was very knowledgeable about the laws and how they were to be applied. In the end Chris kicked butt for me and won my case. One of the best days of my life. I just wanted to hug him when it was all over!

I’m going through a very high-conflict and complex divorce with a child, property and businesses. This lawyer is excellent. He went to a top law schoold, and wrote a textbook for lawyers on how to handle each type of accident case. I had a construction accident where I fell off a scaffold, and he got me millions of dollars. He is hardworking, very intelligent, knows his way around the court / courtroom, and seems to know all of the judges. I was extremely happy with his representation. Highly recommended!

Ivana was extremely helpful throughout my entire divorce process. From our initial consultation, I walked away with a lot of information, and not feeling as lost as I first felt when faced with this challenge. She gave a clear and honest overview of the process ahead of me.
Upon hiring her, and throughout the process she was always available and extremely quick in her responses to any questions or concerns that I had. She was consistently professional with both myself and with all the other lawyers that we dealt with, even when some of those lawyers were less than professional. Brittney starts with a huge advantage as she is very smart, strong and secure. This permits Brittney to offer thoughtful and wise counsel which she was then able to follow through on fully. While I felt that she was fully committed to my case, Brittney is a fair and decent person who had the confidence to disagree where I was wrong. That worked to my advantage. It is difficult to rate a lawyer. Obviously you like your lawyer if it goes your way and not if it doesn’t You can get lucky with a judge who takes your side which may have nothing to do with your case or your lawyer. We all know that the judicial system is most definitely partial. I feel that I am in a good place to review as I had several lawyers for my divorce and following the settlement. Oftentimes the law does not protect you even though it has made a ruling and it is necessary later to go back to court. Finally, Steven Wright was recommended to me by a lawyer acquaintance. The difference between Steven and all others was his knowledges of the law, his diligence, skill and honesty. He answered my questions before I had them. He immediately had a plan and a task list. He was also amazingly compassionate. My ex husband is a scoundrel. I had no idea of the difficulties I would face. My only regret was that I hadn’t found him from the beginning. Steven will work for you, not for an easy settlement as many do. He knows the system and the people to get things done. In no short order he saved my dignity, my career and my children from the anguish divorce will cause. I am not a person that writes reviews on anything because I believe opinions vary and are not always helpful. I’m writing this now because if I had Steven as my lawyer from the start I would have saved a lot of time and money and that is not an opinion- it is fact.

I poured many hours and eyestrain, I went without sleep and ate a poor diet, I did everything I could to create a business. After some hard times I am doing better than I every expected. With that money I took care of my family and raised three beautiful children and took care of my wife. Things changed and in a blink of an eye the change in my relationship put everything I worked for in jeopardy.
Rather than hash the details let me just say that he was recommended to me along with another attorney who I went to first. I went against my gut going with someone else at first because of mutual friends. (I was also conerned that he worked with a lot of women and might not be sympathetic, which was way off base.
After hearing from the other attorney that I should be ready to liquidate, lose the overwhelming majority of my money and my time with my youngest I went back to "Mr. Mo" I call him, (I'm calling him Pashan now).
He didn't sugar coat it either but he was ready to fight and to reason and do whatever was necessary so that I didn't have to entirely start over at this point of my life. It was ugly at times and he stepped up, and definitely switched it around to being on the offensive and planned for contingencies. In the end he forced my ex and her lawyer to be reasonable. He also helped me with a good deal of business and trust work and the sale and move I made. I hope I am conveying what a good lawyer and friend he has been. He wasn't trying to hurt people or stick it to anyone or keep things going just to do it, he was just trying to defend my interest in and get everyone to see how they could reasonably make the best of an unfortunate period we had to get through to be happy and move forward.
