Tracie handled my divorce and custody issues. She is very knowledgeable and professional in the courtroom, being very prepared for any direction the situation might go. She was readily available to me for questions and never made me feel like they were insignificant. Tracie made me feel like my case really mattered to her and that it wasn't just her doing her job. She was empathetic and understanding, and also encouraging when I was feeling low. Richard is a very experienced lawyer. He took his time explaining to me the process of the court as I was in the process of getting custody of my son. There is alot more than just filing papers he went above and beyond by answering calls of mine on his personal time and always being prepared for court. Never did I feel like he stole any time from me as it was getting deducted from the initial deposit given at the time of hire. Unfortunately he works for a different firm located in downtown chicago and it is a bit of a drive for me but he is highly recommended. He is now with Jeffrey M Leving law firm.

I met Sara Cohen a year ago to the date. I saw something in her that I haven't seen in a very long time the true desire to learn her trade and even go that extra step. This review is going to cover all 3 personnel in the firm as they all do one heck of a job. I was blessed to be able to deal with this firm for my Custody battle and my divorce. My situation is very unique as I have a child whom is sick. I approached Mrs. Stolfe's law firm on approximately 5 July 2017. I explained my situation and within the conclusion of the conversation had a meeting set up with Mrs. Stolfe at my earliest convenience. When I walked into the office I was amazed by the environment. The atmosphere that was presented was warm yet professional. This firm has very high standards and their professionalism is outstanding. Mrs. Cohen works at Stolfe and Zeigler and she is another great puzzle piece to that firm. This lawyer knows the law very well and will always communicate with her clients. In addition to pays close attention to all facts provided and taking time to making sure that nothing is left missing. She gets work done and yet she really cares. I hired Lauren to coach me for a hearing regarding a very contentious ordeal involving a parenting plan modification and other issues. Lauren's services are fairly priced and the information and advice she gave me was honest and accurate. She is also very personable and easy to talk to. I was able to go into the hearing and hold my own. The outcome was in line with what she told me to expect, and I believe that had I not had prior coaching it would have gone terribly wrong as family law and procedures in court are complicated. Corinne Price with Fine, Carman, and Price Law Group is extremely knowledgeable regarding family law. During the consultation she walked me through the whole divorce process and suggested next steps. Her determination to get her clients the best deal is very evident in and out of the courtroom. She was able to quickly draw up and get me the parenting plan and child support I wanted.
When my case ended up going to trial, Corinne came prepared with all the documents she needed. Because of this, the judge denied my ex-husband's request for spousal support. JP was the first (after MANY) attorneys I spoke with that would have an honest, straight-forward, conversation with me about my case. After our first conversation, he presented me with in-depth opinion on my legal standing, as well as a well thought out legal strategy for action. Working under a tight deadline he was able to turn a bad situation into a victory.
He was responsive: (Always same-day, usually within 1-2 hours)
He was knowledgeable: Well prepared to discuss case specifics, even finding angles other attorneys had missed.
He was prepared: On court-day we were ready-to-go, yet opposing council (whom had filed the RFO) had to ask for more time.
In the end I got what I wanted, with little sacrifice. I believe it has everything to do with my representation by JP Miller.
To put it another way, even if the court had ruled against us, I would have written a positive review because of the work he performed and how he performed it I felt confident that we were: Prepared for court and armed with the best strategy circumstances allowed.

I had been battling for my child support since 2005. Once I hired Ms. Fennick my child support payments started 6 months later. She had to fight with Child Support Enforcement and Social Security. James Katz was my lawyer for a very difficult divorce. He is very professional and managed to get everything I asked for, and more. Most lawyers wouldn't have even attempted to win my specific case, but he knew when to push and when to wait. It was a long and very contentious divorce that took over a year to complete. He made the process so much easier by explaining all the options and taking the time to listen to what I wanted to accomplish for me and my children, and he got the job done.
Even today, several years later, his office was very courteous and helpful when I needed some copies of my divorce decree and didn't even charge me for their time.
