Truly and hard working and honest person

I can’t say enough about the experience, professionalism, and attitude of this law office. From the representation to even the time spent in the office Mr. Leier and his staff always made me feel important, informed, at ease and at home. From the beginning, Kent leier came highly recommended from other actual law offices when desperately searching for help online to handle my first, and last, DV case here in Larimer County. All it took was a phone call and Kent handled the rest, spending hours of back and forth with the DDA and the details of my case always checking with me and keeping me informed every step of the way. He took my circumstances and applied his experience and knowledge in the legal world to get me the best possible outcome I could imagine, exceeding my expectations. I am so glad I went with the Leier law office family and am honored to have met them. He’s good as long as you’re paying him lots of money. Otherwise he does the bare minimum and then acts like he doesn’t know you.

Kent entered my case when I made a substitution of counsel for a crime I was falsely accused of. It was a case of he said, she said. After going over the discovery and analyzing the facts we set the matter for trial. For trial preparation Kent came up with a strategy and advised me of the gain/risk within our strategy. As a former District Attorney Kent was able to anticipate what the prosecution would be putting into play and we ran those scenarios. Trial was less than a month away and the prosecution dropped the charges. My name was cleared and it was over. I really appreciate what Kent did for my family and I. This attorney is diligent and knows the law inside and out. He takes the time to write blogs over legal situations and answers questions on his website.

Mr. Leier is a consummate professional. I have not had much need for an attorney in my life however, the one time I needed one; I am thankful it was Mr. Leier. Communication was always productive and Mr. Leier is highly responsive whether it was returning a call or sharing a document; Mr. Leier is very adept at communicating with us, his clients. My situation had a positive and swift conclusion. I feel the positive result is because I had Kent fighting for me. I hope to never need an attorney again yet if I do... I will return to Kent. He is one of the rare real deals. And smart. Mr. Leier is a very very bright fellow.so yes..a five star review and absolute praise for Mr.Leier.

There is a reason Kent is highly rated and I used him based on upon his ratings/reviews. It should be noted that Kent works ALL the cases himself. At the time of this review, he does not pass the case to another lawyer who merely works for him. You are not just a number, but someone he cares about getting the best result. Kent responded extremely well and often worked long hours to do so considering his busy schedule. You still need to be patient and it may take a day or so to respond. He is very aware of his clients individual needs and details of the case. I know I am bit of stickler for lots of information and detail as will be evident by this review. He has a VERY strong feel for what the likely outcome of a case will be and his assessment was very accurate on a case that could have went several directions with moving parts. Fortunately, going to trial was not required in my case but I would feel very confident in his ability should the need arise. *Note to anyone involved in a legal matter: More information about the case and circumstances is always better! Provide him all the details. Email is best so he can re-read the information. When your lawyers asks for something, do it as quickly as is reasonable. Lots of aspects can be time dependent. As with any lawyer, help them to help you. Be proactive in your case. If you end up being sentenced, and I CANNOT stress this enough... DO EVERYTHING ORDERED AND TAKE IT SERIOUSLY within the time frames the court ordered. And do not delay because your window to complete can take longer than anticipated. Make a list and start working to check boxes off ASAP. Failure of even one aspect often imposes penalties drastically more harsh than the total of what was originally imposed. I know a person who didn't take their UA's serious in a DUI case and initially they had no jail time and ended up with 30 days for failure to comply to give just one example. The system is loading with similar stories. Stay on top of it, do what you need to do and move on with your life. I wish you the best. Please remember, it will get better.

Mr. Leier and his assitant were professional and kind in every interaction. He was available throughout the process wtih answers to every question that came up. I was highly satified with the expeirence and outcome of my choice to use The Leier law office.

Kent worked a very difficult case for me. He was very professional, timely, and sincerely cared about getting me the best outcome possible.
