James F Stanley is an outstanding attorney. While defending me, he worked with the prosecution constantly to do something basically impossible, which was to secure a deferred judgement AND convince them of a lower charge. I'm relatively young, and naively thought I was immune to the criminal system. However, I found myself in dire circumstances over a misstep and a misunderstanding. While I and the other party were scratching our heads, the State took it upon themselves to make a case and move forward. If things were to have played out naturally, I truly believe my future prospects might have been much more limited. Case Dismissed in 6 Months I was reading some of the previous google reviews when I chose Jim Stanley to take on my case. He lived up to my expectations and more! Jim was very understanding while I was explaining my case to him, and he was able to help calm my nerves by reassuring me that he would do everything in his power to help me. After agreeing to take on my case I received a phone call from Jim a few days later where he had done extensive research on my case, and he then had a list of steps for me to take. These were very easy to follow and actionable, they helped me and they will help you too. After following the instructions, Jim was able to convince the prosecutor and the judge to get my case deferred. This means that as long as I stay out of trouble for just six months, I will have my charges completely dropped and can legally say that I was never arrested. Jim also convinced the judge to impose no jail, no fine and not even probation. I essentially had no sentence or punishment at all! This is an amazing outcome, and I can now apply for jobs without fear that my mistakes will haunt me. There is no way that I could have received this outcome on my own, and for that I am forever grateful to attorney Jim Stanley.

Mr. Stanley was an awesome lawyer in my opinion. From the first meeting we had, he listened to what I had to say, gave me an honest opinion of the case, and once I agreed to have him represent me he got started on the case. He never told me what I wanted to hear, but was honest and allowed me to take all the facts he was providing and with his guidance allowed me to decide if I wanted to plea, continue fighting, or make another decision. Jim Stanley was able to achieve a miracle outcome in my case. It is unheard of to get a complete dismissal of an Assault on Police Officer case in Denver County, or for the entire state for that matter.
