Mr. Stanley was 100% dedicated to my case. He was the most hard working, determined lawyer I have ever worked with, and I have worked with quite a few. I had 11 charges on me, 2 of which were felonies and Mr. Stanley got it down to 1 Misdameanor and got everything else dropped!! Mr. Stanley would be my FIRST choice in a lawyer anywhere around. He then worked for months after my case helping me seal my records so i can have a better, happier, easier future. Mr. Stanley is a great guy, amazing lawyer and if you need help GO TO HIM!

Mr. Stanley is such an amazing Attorney. I was looking at a second DUI charge in which I would receive jail time, heavy fines, and would have gotten my Massage License revoked so I would have lost my job and income. James Stanley Was so calm and supportive from the first call and through sentencing. His invaluable advice helped me get back on track with sobriety, got me into the right classes and groups that I needed, to show the courts how incredibly sorry I was. He was able to reduce my sentence to a DWAI with a very low probation sentence and no jail time! This is literally the BEST possible outcome I could have hoped for in my case. I would NOT have gotten this without Mr. Stanley. I am forever grateful for his wisdom and time. CHILD ABUSE CASE COMPLETELY DISMISSED I was notified today by Mr. Stanley that the District Attorney in Jefferson County has informed him that the case against me for Child Abuse has been completely dismissed. I was charged with Child Abuse and not having proper seating for my grandchildren while driving my pickup truck with my wife and three grandchildren in the bed of the pickup. The charge of Child Abuse was devastating to me and I sought the help of an attorney. I interviewed two other attorneys and then talked to Mr. Stanley, who had come recommended by an attorney friend of my daughter. While interviewing Mr Stanley I was impressed with his candor and knowledge. He is a straight shooter. Mr Stanley helped us initially by recommending that I supply Character Letters from my family, friends, church friends and neighbors. Mr Stanley presented those letters to the DA's office and they were helpful to the case. He also monitored the District Attorney's office to see who would be assigned the case and then got an extension of the appearance date to build the defense of my case. Mr. Stanley kept in touch with me and kept me informed as the case progressed. During this time of the COVID-19 pandemic, he was able to handle all aspects of the case remotely, which was very much appreciated since I am 77 years old. I am extremely thankful for Mr Stanley's knowledge and his understanding. Superb Representation! 5.0 stars I recommended Jim to my cousin for her daughter's DUI. From the first consultation through winning the DMV hearing to final resolution in court, Jim aced it! Part of his genius is that no detail is too small. Jim collected the 911 call recording, statements from witnesses - everything that had the slightest bearing on the case. He caught the inconsistencies in the law officer's statements; took the DMV hearing which "no one ever wins" seriously and won it! By the time it went to hearing he knew the smallest details AND he knew the client so he was able to represent her to the fullest. Unexpectedly good outcome at the hearing - Jim is the best.

Miracle Outcome Jim defended my grandson in a felony and HTO case that looked hopeless. Although there were two other pending cases, Jim was successful in convincing the district attorney to offer diversion. The next miracle was that my grandson was accepted to the diversion program to the bewilderment of everyone. Better off getting public pretender before shelling over a boatload of cash to this guy. Minimal effort from him, all talk giving you the highest of expectations. Literally took a case i should’ve been innocent in to getting me the max sentence possible due to him getting on the judge’s bad side.

Jim Stanley was able to negotiate a very favorable outcome for our son's case with the Jefferson County District Attorney. The District Attorney agreed to a deferred judgment. This is a very unusual outcome for such a case. We understand that it is unheard-of in Jefferson County for the DA to agree to no probation, no fines and no other conditions at all, except to stay out of trouble for 1 year. To accomplish this, our son's attorney compiled and organized a large amount of information which we had provided about our son's unusual situation. Jim then hand delivered it to the DA's office.
