Words cannot describe my gratitude I have for Mr. Stanley and the services he provided. The circumstances in which even led me to find him and hire him where nothing short of guidance from God. Mr. Stanley was able to achieve an unbelievable outcome in my case. I was charged with Felony Assault and was facing, not only prison, but my life ruined and my dreams shattered. A complete dismissal of a Felony Assault case is very rare, unheard-of, in Jefferson County. Mr. Stanley spent many, many hours compiling witness statements, preparing sworn affidavits, preparing written arguments, preparing PowerPoint presentations and repeatedly, relentlessly calling the prosecutor assigned to my case. Mr. Stanley submitted over 100 pages of arguments and information to the prosecutor. Mr. Stanley called the prosecutor every week to follow up and make sure he was receiving and reviewing the volumes of material sent. Mr. Stanley followed up on every correspondence to the prosecutor with an email, a written letter, and a fax, and would continue to follow up until he got a reply. Finally, when the court proceeding got to the point Mr. Stanley was going to push for a jury trial, my case was completely dismissed. Mr. Stanley is relentless in his effort and he gets results. It took Jim several months of hard work and numerous letters, emails and phone calls to the DA assigned. I was charged with Trespassing and Disturbing the Peace after a dispute with my hotel on a business trip. I am a business professional who found himself in jail for two days with thoughts of losing my job and my family. One of the first attorney's I consulted with seemed very skeptical of my story and before reviewing the evidence, told me I would spend at least a year if not more in jail. Needless to say, I was very scared and thought my life and career was over! After reviewing online Mr. Stanley's profile of experience and client reviews, I decided to contact him. He returned my call immediately, and after meeting with Mr. Stanley and experiencing his professionalism, intelligence, honesty, and candor. He mailed this packet at least five times and paid for USPS tracking, so that he would know the moment his correspondence arrived at the DA's Office. Then he would follow up with a phone call to the DA and leave him a fifteen minute voicemail, explaining all the defects he found in the case. I believe that this aggressive and relentless contacting of the DA is why he was able to achieve this radical decision to dismiss this case at such an early stage, after just one court appearance! I was prepared for the case to be set for trial, costing thousands of dollars more in attorney's fees and more stress! The case could have easily drug on for five or more months until the eve of the trial, when the pressure is at the highest for the prosecutor! Instead, Mr. Stanley convinced the prosecutor to dismiss all charges in my case, the Judge agreed and my case was dismissed in it's entirety. I've been told by very experienced lawyers that this is a very rare accomplishment in the Colorado criminal justice system. A fantastic and unbelievable outcome due to Mr. Stanley's non-stop work and tenacious efforts in my case.
