My case was with a major credit collection agency. At first I thought that I could take the case myself to court, but I can say that it was not the best decision at all. After leaving the first court hearing, I did a google search and found this website. My decision to hire Michael Fine was do to the great reviews. The results were extraordinary, he was able to get a great deal and the case dismissed. I did not expect such an amazing deal to this case, but it was all done in a matter of a few weeks, with no reason to show up in court even once or at his office for that matter. Trustworthy and professional are the two adjectives that best describe Michael Fine. Thank you again for everything Michael.

Mr. Fine really believes in the concept of justice for the maligned. A debt collection agency knew they were breaking the law when they served me but still tried to collect on a deceptively high amount. They would not back down but neither did Mr. Fine. He filed suit in federal court and got me the maximum allowed.

Where other attorneys wouldn't even listen Michael not only listened but had the debt collector settle with me in my case (yes pay me) and drop their suit and erase the debt from my credit report due to all of their mistakes and lack of legitimate back up. If you are being taken to court on a debt whether you think you owe or not call him immeadiately!!!!!

I'm a senior with a heart condition. I got a bill from my credit card company chase that had over $5,000 worth of charges that I did not make. I tried explaining this to Chase and they did not want to listen to me and instead said I had to pay. I was referred by another lawyer to call Ben. Mr. Dupre was referred to me after I had a terrible time with my former attorney who would not return my calls.
I had been getting harassed by a debt collection law firm about a debt that I did not owe, and they were threatening me to take me to court and take money from my bank account and were reporting this on my credit score. My credit was almost perfect before this.
Mr. Dupre agreed to help me, and he did an excellent job. He is a straight shooter, sensitive to my feelings, and I am very lucky to have found him. He fought the debt collector and we won. I was really down before I met Mr. Dupre and am thankful to him.

I first met Ben around 2010, he was referred to me. I was going through a nightmare, having a very difficult time with Chase, and trying to keep my home.
Ben is an extraordinary listener and spent a great deal of time with me understanding me and then talking about my options and consumer legal rights. We filed the case and it took a few years to get resolved, but we were very successful and I was able to keep my house and successfully resolved my problem with Chase.

Mr. Petersen is extremely knowledgable in consumer debt collection and consumer collection cases. Hired this attorney for an aggressive debt collector that had incorrectly reported to credit report and was calling continually, violating several laws. He was able to quickly resolve the issue and represent me in the court case. He thoroughly understands and defends consumer rights against these companies that will try to bully you while they knowingly violate laws, and I had utmost confidence in his handling he case. I was recommended to Mr. Tam by a fellow co-worker which found him through the internet. Mr. Tam helped me with a garnishment, and also with my bankruptcy (ch 7). I owed over 24k, and for a fraction of the cost he got it done. Very professional, and he knows the system very well.
Just make sure you have your case number when you contact him if your being garnished.

Dan was amazing. He took on my case to quash a default judgement that I had received. The default judgement was received without proper process service and in the wrong venue.
Dan interviewed me, created an Affidavit and wrote a 24 page motion to dismiss. The motion was extremely well written. Within days of submitting to the court the judgment was vacated and the case dismissed.

Did you ever meet with a lawyer that gave you the shortest answers and minimum time, and when you left his office you felt even more confused?
Well this is not the case with David.
David will make sure you understand everything and gently explain all you need to know. You will never feel like you are taking his time.and you can ask as many questions as you need.
David was there for us just like a big brother. He made sure we completed all that needed and followed up with us in a very personal way.

Nat is a sharp, diligent and DEDICATED attorney. He gave me a very quick history on precedents of my legal issue, gave me some options, made recommendations and came up with a plan.
He was instrumental in not only resolving a frustrating experience with my HOA.....but also set the scenario up so that if they *didn't* acquiesce, then we would be in a particularly advantageous position, legally speaking.

I was the victim of identity theft. Someone forged my signature on loan documents. The identity thief stopped making payments on the loan shortly after the account was opened. The fraudulent loan accounts appeared on my credit reports. As a result, I could not refinance my home and credit limits on my existing accounts were being reduced. I sent numerous letters to the credit reporting agencies and the banks with limited success. I was ultimately forced to file a federal lawsuit to protect my rights, my credit and my good name. I was able to get the fraudulent accounts removed from my credit reports and settled my case before trial. I signed separate settlement agreements with each named defendant. The terms and amounts of each settlement agreement are confidential.
John helped me through the entire process. He also took my case on a contingency fee basis. I did not have to pay any money out-of-pocket.
John was a beacon of light in a very dark time of not knowing and I would recommend him and use him again if needed.

An identity thief stole my identity and used my name and credit to purchase a house that belonged to his ex-wife. The identity thief only made a few payments on the property and let it go into foreclosure. The foreclosure appeared on my credit report as well as a homeowners association judgment for past due HOA fees related to the property. Needless to say, my credit scores were low and obtaining credit was nearly impossible. I did not know where to turn until I was referred to John Bazaz. He then helped me dispute the foreclosure and judgment that still appeared on my credit reports.
