He had NEVER seen my charges before, but did his homework while we sat right there in his office!! And he was very thorough !! He kept in contact with me through it all!!! I had an excellent experience with Daniel Kron. From our very first phone conversation he explained everything to me in terms I could easily understand. My case was what I perceived to be a difficult, high conflict case in regard to visitation and custody. It was a very tumultuous time for me and Daniel always took the time, generously I might add, to explain things thoroughly and to discuss strategy. I received a speeding ticket while driving a crew team to the Head of the Charles Regatta. I was trying to catch back up with the caravan and went to fast. I am from another state and searched the internet and found positive reviews for Mr. Ariza and decided to give it a shot. He was excellent and got my violation dismissed with a reasonable fine and a 1 hour online defensive driving class. No points or record of the offense. I was more than pleased. I was wrongly issued a ticket by a police officer who made a snap decision that was incorrect. I contacted Seth for help. He wanted to know the nature of the violation and my side of the story. He then told me to sit back as he would take on the matter for me. He updated me regularly as he communicated with the court, and eventually resolved the matter for me. His fee was reasonable and the results were excellent. I highly recommend him.

Matt Dotzler was nothing but incredible the entire time. My case involved some traffic offenses, and he was appointed to me by the court. This was my first time ever having to deal with a lawyer, and he made the process incredibly easy. I was pretty stressed out by the whole thing, and he made a concerted effort to work on my issue until it was done. Two of my charges were thrown out and one was reduced! Attorney Miller assisted me and my family with a Landlord//Tenant dispute and resolved our issue. Upon my first consultation with him, he listened to my case/grievance and jumped right in to help me. The day following my son’s arrest, we were in a state of shock and immediately hired a different attorney affiliated with one of those DWI firms that you see heavily advertised on billboards. Over the next couple of months, as details of the case emerged, it became increasingly clear that there were issues with the initial stop and inconsistencies with the evidence, but the attorney did not seem to be fully engaged or have mastery of the facts of the case. Often, I would reach out to him when I found an issue and would get no response or a response at the last minute, as if he only looked at the material the morning before the court appearance. Each court date it seemed like he was “going through the motions” with a foregone conclusion that the case would simply be pled down. When I brought up issues with discovery, or the police report, or frustration that no one was reviewing the full facts of the case, I was most often met with a shrug and some comment along the lines of “that’s just how it is in the criminal justice system.” He advised my son to request and accept a plea deal and had us nearly convinced that if we tried to push forward with motions, etc., we were just risking a worse outcome. But this was my kid, and accepting a sentence without anyone really considering the facts of the case just didn’t feel right, so we reached out to an experienced friend for advice and she said, “Fire that guy. You need to hire Ed Fiandach.”
At our initial consultation with Ed, he immediately identified that there were issues with the traffic stop and cited the relevant case law. He said the right next step was to file motions to suppress the stop. “You should never skip the steps,” he said. When I shared that the other attorney told us that filing motions could result in a worse sentence and maybe the plea is the best we can do, Ed said something that put everything in to focus. He said, “Your son hasn’t even had a defense yet.” He gave us confidence that my son shouldn’t just accept the plea deal. Ed and his team filed the motions, and when the hearing happened, Ed knew exactly what to say and do to show that the prosecution had not established probable cause for the traffic stop. To follow-up, he wrote a memorandum of law that was thorough, detailed, and fact-based that clearly supported his motion to suppress the evidence. Ed knows the law inside and out and through his efforts, my son’s case was dismissed.
Throughout the entire process, Ed was responsive when we had questions, patient, and most importantly, kind to both me and my son. I am forever grateful to Ed and his team for helping my family through this difficult situation.

After our motor vehicle incident with our son and having it out of county, we did not know who to call. I have many trusted law enforcement partners in the the surrounding counties so I reached out to three of them and all three said, "call Angelo Rose". One of these contacts even said "you absolutely need to call Angelo Rose". We are glad we did. Angelo met with us in his office to quickly ease our anxiety about what might/could happen and in the end, Angelo was very close to spot on with what did happen. Brandon Hellwig from Tom Anelli was impressive. The first few months I had so much anxiety, but each time I talked to Brandon my anxiety lessened. He guided me through the next steps I needed to take, regarding everything in my life that this case affected. He was honest about my options, what might be possible, and was clear that his honest professional opinion will only come after he reviewed all the evidence. My entire livelihood was on the line and everything that I worked hard for! Brandon listened to my concerns and worked diligently on my behalf. One day he called me with an offer that was the best offer and did not require further delay. When we arrived at our next court date, no one could believe what had just happened and I mean no one. I mean! everyone looked like what/how. So yes, I have earned the right to say, “Brandon is the Man,” and although I will never end up in another position where I will need Brandon, he is my go-to and if you want a good defense, he will hopefully your go to as well.
My initial consultation was warm, comforting, and welcoming. I did have an issue when I could not get Brandon on the phone right away, but Kaylee was awesome in delivering messages and listening to me vent, sorry Kaylee and I do appreciate you. I do, however, get why the system is set up in such a way. At the end of the day, he can work to get favorable outcomes if he is listening/talking to people like me all day with their anxiety at 150%. A bit pricey but worth your life and freedom.

In Aug 2021 I was charged with a DWI and failure to keep right after falling asleep and hitting a tee. I only blew a .05, I wasn't driving while intoxicated I was driving while exhausted. I hired Tom to defend me and he got the DWI completely dropped due to lack of evidence and I pled guilty to the failure to keep right. This was huge because I have a CDL and my insurance company would have made me pay back the medical bills which I'm sure were enormous because I had surgery and spent 9 days in the hospital. Tom was also 1/3 of the price of another lawyer I called for the same exact service. I hope I never need him again but if I do he'll definitely have my business.

Joe Gerstenzang was the best decision I could have made for myself regarding my legal trouble. He is forthright, accountable, proficient, communicative, and creative with his interpretation of the law.
I had a second DWI approximately one year after my first, and was looking down the barrel of some harsh and seemingly endless penalties. Joe made me feel extremely confident and well represented throughout the process and in the courtroom. And he was able to achieve the results I was hoping for.
My first impression was that Joe was realistic and honest with me. We went over my case, which had been delayed for 10+ months due to covid court closures. Joe was honest with me about how he thought my case looked, and we made decisions from there. The decisions we made felt collaborative and I always felt like my voice was heard, and my story was understood.
Proceeding from there, Joe was able to negotiate a deal that I found extremely generous.
One thing that really stood out to me:
Due to covid court closures where I live, I was not able to drive for a very long time, as my case had remained stagnant while my license revocation remained in place. By the time the courts opened back up, I was not set to get my license back for a long time. The court did not want to recognize this closure time as time served of any suspension. This is where Joe got creative.
I don't exactly know how he did it, but Joe was able to get creative with his interpretation of law. He got me on the road again. Had I hired a lesser lawyer, I may have been Uber-bound for another 6-12 months.
Joe was always in communication with me, always willing to talk on the phone. He took things seriously. This told me that he understood how serious these matters were for me. Even as my case seemed like it was set to wrap itself up, Joe was in contact about little small details that I would have not thought about.
I cannot recommend Mr. Gerstenzang enough.
I have known people who have hired lesser lawyers for DWIs in NY, most likely to save a bit of money, and I've heard horror stories. Whatever amount you save on a cheap lawyer, you will end up paying more in the long run, both with your wallet, time, and your peace of mind.

I walked into John's office one day after finding out that my landlord was charging me more than the legal rent-controlled rent. John saved my life and my job! I have a habit of getting huge speeding tickets. I got yet another one and this was MAJOR! I was going to lose my license, my job, and I was going to have to pay hundreds and hundreds of dollars in driver responsibility fees along with the fires and surcharge on the ticket as well as all of the points on my license.

First and foremost, the Magnell Office is a cut above the rest. They were not only cordial and attentive but displayed a strong sense of trust, integrity, and reliability when taking on my case. Back in 2020, I got a speeding ticket for driving a 53 in a 30. As an out-of-state driver, I was unaware of New York's point system. Not to mention the fact that this was my first-time offense. Long story short, I would have gotten 6 pts; however, the Magnell Office brought it down to 0 pts and a fine for littering on the highway. I highly recommend this law firm. The question above all is, how accurate is it and is Scott the right lawyer for me. Well I can certainly tell you, if you are looking for a straight shooter, someone with enough balls to adamantly argue the facts and exercise all angles of your case, ultimately ending up with the best possible outcome any legal liaison could have done. You have my word you’ve got the right guy.
The reality of the situation is about 70% of us found ourselves in a jam, be it right or wrong; and now need a legal specialist to tailor fit the truths of evidence and mold them together with all those multifaceted nuances of legal ins and outs. And get us out of this pickle! Which is exactly what Scott flawlessly did for me; and I am ridiculously grateful to him for it.
Having grown up with a family full of cops, detectives and FBI. I am a pretty fair candidate to have seen the good and ugly of both sides of the law. It's not everyday that I take the time to post a review let alone one with a five star rating. For Eric though I have to. About two years ago I came to him with a sensitive legal issue. Since then Eric has handled everything you need a lawyer for....You name it he did it.
