I have known Mr. Allen for almost a year now. Since I met Mr.Allen he has been a great source of legal advice and support . He is highly knowledgeable and always gives me his honest assessment and advice as to exactly what I need to do to resolve any legal issue I may have and I trust him completely. When it comes to returning calls and answering my phone calls or text messages I am convinced he has a clone because no matter how busy he is he never has not called me back or answered me even when he's been on vacation and I know no one that can match his dedication and he truly cares about his clients and is extremely down to earth and has a great character that has never made me feel like he thinks he's better than me because he's college educated which most attorneys make you feel and this is not the case with Mr. Allen . I found Mr. Modica very professional, excellent communicator, easy to work with and strives to get the best outcome for clients. My 19 year old had gotten a reckless ticket and Mr. Modica fought the case to get 0 points and court fees. I was recently driving back to Toronto from NYC. About an hour from the border on Highway 17 a State Trooper pulled me over for speeding. She piled on another ticket for not signaling a lane change. The demerit points would have followed me to Ontario. Matis was recommended by someone in Toronto. I emailed him and he responded right away. He was very quick and professional. I just found out today that the tickets were resolved with a $300 fine and no demerit points. That's very fair. I have no hesitation recommending Matis to others.

Upon getting charged with a DWI I reached out to an attorney who I had used throughout my life for anything that came up. I was basically told based on your BAC we won’t be able to get a reduced offer and I am not sure how long the process will take. After a meeting, phone calls and a court appearance I was more confused than ever and accepted the fact that I would be getting a DWI. At this point a had a couple of people tell me that I should probably get a second opinion just based on the lack of information and inability to even understand the process ahead.
It was at this point I called James and left a message. He got back to me immediately and spent 25 minutes talking through the fact surrounding the case and how this would move forward step by step. After talking to James I felt 100% better about the situation he was able to answer every question I had around the charges, temporary license, and a timeline. Additionally, James began to discuss scenarios to get the charges thrown out or reduced which is something I had completely dismissed as I was told a plea wouldn’t be possible. I had actually told him that I am fine with the DWI charge if we can just get this wrapped up. He seemed shocked and told me that I may get a DWI but it will be after we exhaust all of our options and if I want to plead guilty that I should get another attorney. Over the next few months James kept me informed eventually telling me to report to court and we will be wrapping this up with a DWAI charge!
Having worked with James I would highly recommend anyone tangled up with a DWI charge to give him a call. My experience with lawyers is minimal but he completely exceeded all my expectations while being personable and relatable.

Today was a day I was both dreading, but also looking forward to as I had to appear for a preliminary hearing regarding an accidental discharge of a firearm that resulted in the projectile passing through the wall of my dwelling and into the adjacent one.
I say dreading because of the implications it would have on both my life and career. Conversely I was looking forward to it because I had attorney Alan Ross in my corner defending me.
I cannot say enough about how professional Alan was in how he presented himself and my case during the hearing, and the amount of time and effort that he took to prepare for it. In the end, his thorough research of case law, legal statutes, and presiding opinion, and presentation of such before the district justice was impressive. He was prepared for, and countered the opposing arguments of the district attorney and ended up swaying the judge in our favor to dismiss the case on all counts.

When my nephew was arrested and charged with a criminal offense and thrown in jail, our family was in shock. He was there as a tourist on his own, while I am in NYC the rest of the family overseas, and he made a mistake based on cultural differences and without bad intentions. We were scared and lost as to what to do and had to find a great lawyer. A friend of a friend gave us 3 names, and we called all 3, but ONLY ONE called back promptly on the Sunday - and that was Michael Levine (the remaining calls trickled in during the week). We were so lucky because over the next month he proved to be not only a competent lawyer but also responsive, communicative, friendly, and to my nephew he provided real emotional support to guide him and calm him throughout the month. The case was successfully dismissed and that was based on his legal work and filings, but I heard stories from my nephew about how in the courthouse Michael was friendly and polite to everyone, and he sensed that the people who worked there knew and liked Michael and were kind and cooperative in return.
