Over the past several years, the firm of Pick and Zabicki worked tirelessly to resolve our case. Every step of the way we were given the facts and explained the application of law so we were able to make an informed decision. Mr. Freeborn and his paralegal were not the first legal team we met with about our issues. The first lawyer we spoke with came highly recommended by a family member, but he was adamant we’d have to file for bankruptcy. We gave Freeborn Law Offices a try for a second opinion. His paralegal Ms. Messamore was refreshing in explaining things in plain language, being upfront, transparent, and very thorough. I walked away from our initial consultation with Mr. Freeborn very impressed at the depth of his experience. He laid out our options clearly and concisely. It was comforting to have confidence that our case was in such knowledgeable hands. After having a plan in place, I was further impressed that he took the time to dig through the weeds and figure out who to contact to resolve our issues as it wasn’t clear. Greg was one of just a few people who actually helped me out while I struggle in a messy legal battle with my ex and he not only spent time with me over the phone twice he also met with me to review my case and didn't expect or charge me a dime. He was up front and honest about everything and very professional. He could have easily convinced me to give him 1000 dollars as some attorneys would have done knowing how the situation would end. Attorney Einhorn and his legal staff have been nothing less than stupendous in every effort.
Our family used Einhorn Law Office for a real estate closing several years ago. The process was entirely seemless and we felt extremely comfortable and informed through the process.
On two other recent and separate occasions I had referred Attorney Einhorn to a family member for legal council regrading traffic violation and in another situation a friend for a slip and fall case. Kevin assisted us with the resolution of a claim against a particularly difficult party who insisted on appealing multiple rulings against them. What should have been settled by reasonable business people or a single hearing about the facts of the case, the defendant and his attorney insisted on using every means possible to delay and draw out the process. Although this wasn't a huge claim, the issue was based on fraudulent billing by the defendant and we wanted to see it through the entire process on a moral basis. Kevin did a great job getting the defendant to court and making our side of the case clear. We prevailed and Kevin also assisted in collecting the judgement after the defendant began stalling after the judgement was rendered. I highly recommend Kevin for your business law concerns!

My neighbor was claiming ownership of a large piece of my property and had built a fence on it. Kevin Best review the claim with county property records and agree that I had ownership of the property. He review my property rights with me and suggest a plan of action to remove the fence and on keeping her from excising ownership of it. The plan was successful and the encroach fence was removed. Currently she is staying off the property.
Kevin was more then helpful when the Home Ownership Association question the fence removal. His knowledge of HOA convention rules were very helpful in responding to the Community Association.
I would hire Kevin again.

My experience with the Law Office of Kevin J. Best has been a very positive one and I plan on maintaining a professional relationship with this attorney.
I had been handling my particular case myself only to have it appealed (by the person suing me) twice and moved to different courts. The person has now filed their third and final appeal (allowed) with the court of appeals. I found myself in a situation where legal representation was a must. I had ten days to respond in writing to the writ of certiorari for the court of appeals. I needed an attorney-fast!
I googled attorneys and found Kevin J. Best, located in Annapolis. I was pleasantly surprised when Mr. Best personally answered the phone. I was immediately able to discuss my very complicated/time sensitive situation. I scheduled an immediate office appointment (2 hours) and fees were discussed during our phone conversation so there were no surprises. I felt Mr. Best was very reasonable. During the office visit Mr. Best very clearly explained and advised me with examples on how to respond to the writ of certiorari. Since I already had a rough draft of a response and Mr. Best was not familiar with the case to date he advised me to follow through myself to keep the cost down. I worked on my response at home-emailed it to Mr. Best the next day. Within hours he revised it and put it into legal format and emailed it back to me all prepared and ready to mail to the court.
This was above and beyond my expectations. All I had left to do was print, make copies and certify mail it to the court. I made the court deadline with days to spare and I filed the paperwork appropriately as required by this court's rules and guidelines- which I had no idea about. All with the help of my new attorney- Kevin J. Best. If needed Mr. Best will represent me at the court of appeals.

The death of my mother was very hard in many ways, but the loss of my stepfather/ Dad of 30yrs was devastating to say the least. I truly thought nothing could be worse. Then my step siblings and his ex-wife decided to try to make me and my nephew into thief's and horrible people.
I never would have believed that the court's would have allowed this whole thing to go as far as it did. Allegations and blatant lies, not proof, but it did.
If it hadn't been for Davis and Doug I honestly think they might have gotten away with it, since I'm a step daughter, FYI: Stepdaughter I found to be something of a "bad thing" automatically.
Thank you for listening and fighting for us. Thank you for not allowing my dad to be misrepresented as well, even though that was a byproduct, I know he would be thankful as well.

Mr. Lockhart was very involved from the moment he took my case and went above and beyond for both myself and my family. He drove over an hour on more than one occasion to make sure he had everything he needed from me (I had lots of relevant documented information), and then he used that information expertly. He also made sure my family's questions were answered and their fears were calmed as best he could. Mr. Bradford worked hard behind the scenes and together as a team they achieved results that can only be described as a best case scenario. Results I hoped for, but couldn't have reasonably expected, until it happened! My case was resolved without me ever having to formally appear in court, something I didn't even believe was possible. A situation that could have gone very badly instead was completely turned around due to Mr. Lockhart's expert use of the information at hand and the skilled negotiation done on my behalf by both Mr. Bradford and Mr. Lockhart. David was very knowledgeable in how to handle my criminal case. He tackled it head on from the initial consultation with out hesitancy and was able to give me multiple outcomes and solutions from best case scenario to the worst and I hadn't even hired him yet!. I had court coming up in 2 weeks facing an aggravated assault charge and I was on edge for months about this so I hired him and that was the best decision I've ever made. David jumped right on it and was able to get my case dismissed without me even stepping foot in a court room, I can honestly say he is more than just an attorney I felt as if he honestly wanted to help me get my life back I've never had any serious offenses on my record mostly traffic and I almost lost my clean slate. Aber Law Firm is top notch. Jeremy is responsive, professional, and highly skilled in his profession. Most attorneys I've worked with in the past want to create custom agreements for every possible scenario. Jeremy has standard agreements on hand for common needs and tweaks them as necessary. In doing so, he may only spend 10-15 minutes on the phone with you, to talk through what needs to be tweaked. He also only bills for time actually spent. I have other attorneys that will drag their feet and try to keep me on for a full 30 or 60, when clearly the conversation has ended, then I get billed for it. Jeremy's billing transparency is almost unheard of. I'd recommend him 10 times out of 10 for any SaaS company.

Jeremy is probably the most responsive and efficient business attorney I've ever worked with. Possibly beyond law, to include all professional services consultants or firms I've worked with over 3 plus decades.
What I really appreciated is that he stayed on point and didn't ask a bunch of unrelated questions, or start the 'well have you thought about this' conversation - which most attorneys, experts or consultants try to pull to lure in a potential client on fear of unknowns and justify more billable time for some unnecessary advice or service that wasn't asked for.
If you need an attorney with Jeremy's area of expertise, run, don't walk to Jeremy. Your business will be better off for it.

I started off with another attorney who thought I should just pay what the other party was ordering me to pay. Then I got a referral from a good friend of mine, so I called Jeff Howell. Jeff rolled his sleeves and jumped right in. Less than a week later he had negotiated a settlement agreement for less than half of what the other party wanted. If you’ve ever had any experience with getting arrested, spending time in jail till a judge hears your case and allows you to leave, following up with further court dates, as well as the implications of all these occurrences - it can be incredibly overwhelming and rather difficult to keep a straight head throughout.
That is ofcourse NOT the case if you’re able and/or fortunate enough to find yourself a lawyer who genuinely gives a damn about what might happen to you - and legitimately knows her way around the court room & the legal system.

After having the misfortune of being involved in more than 3 unrelated lawsuits in the last 2 years, I retained Mr. Isherwood to handle my cases.
Mr. Isherwood is an outstanding multifaceted attorney with the ability to quickly understand complex cases already in progress and provide excellent clarity in communicating with his client.
This is not the first time I have had to retain an attorney, but it certainly is the first time I feel I retained an upstanding, highly skilled, responsive, and highly experienced attorney with excellent knowledge of relevant statutes and the ability to quickly respond and stand up to big-money law firms. Scott's ability really helped put my mind at ease.
I won the first 2 cases. As for the third case, it was initially mishandled by another lawyer who was ultimately removed from my case. I again contacted Mr. Isherwood to help understand and clean up the giant mess left behind by the former incompetent attorney as well as help avert a complete catastrophe in my life brought on by a crooked mortgage servicer.
In the courtroom I was amazed by Mr. Isherwood's lightning fast ability recall facts and quickly object to the opposing party. Also, in court he often recalled the facts about my case faster than I did and was able to use these facts to ultimately win my case against a larger lavishly-funded law firm.
They say "Litigation is not a poor-man's sport", fotunately Mr. Isherwood has continually demonstrated a knack for averting long, drawn out and potentially expensive litigation and getting straight to the point.
I have so far used Mr. Isherwood against a fraudulent "restraining order request" which he won, a fraudulent claim for defamation, in which I also prevailed, as well as litigation against a bad mortgage servicer for which he has continued to provide extremely valuable and helpful services that have helped avert multiple catastrophes instigated by much larger large firms and people with deep pockets.
Mr. Isherwood has also been invaluable for general legal advice.

When I called Stange Law Firm to help me with my divorce. Tha first Lawyer I felt was just sitting on my case. Jason took me through my bankruptcy case. At such a difficult time, he was extremely understanding and compassionate about my situation. He also made sure I was prepared for all the things that would or could come up throughout the process. Because of this, nothing in the process felt like a painful surprise, which made it much easier to get through psychologically. He was readily available to answer my questions, made me feel comfortable even asking potentially dumb questions, and had tremendous patience. With other professionals, you can sometimes feel like the lawyer etc is trying to keep your appointment as short as possible and they want to move on already to their next client. Jason took his time, never made me feel rushed. He also went above and beyond in so many ways. For instance, he drove all the way out to the south suburbs to meet me in person for our first meeting. He also called ahead to the courthouse because I was concerned that they might not let me bring my laptop. I had no expectation nor had I asked him to do those things - he just offered/did them for me.

I contacted Mr. Coburn for some simple legal advise regarding real estate. I had at least 3 issues where I may need to hire an attorney. He took the time to listen to all my concerns and explained what he could help me with and what he couldn't help me with. He gave me some great advise, and was extremely patient, courteous, kind, honest and a great help to me. He let me know, I don't need to hire him just yet, but advised me on if a certain something didn't happen in a timely manner, that I could hire him with an easy open and shut case - pretty much based on what the law and statute requires. He took his time with me. Did not rush me at all - and I had a lot of questions! He was great! and I assure you, if my situation doesn't pan out like it should and I need to hire an attorney, I will be calling him immediately. I loved his honesty and him being real with me. Some lawyers just want your money and would gladly take you for a ride just to get it. He clearly let me know, what was worth chasing after with a lawsuit and what wasn't. This was my first time sueing anyone and I was very nervous. When we first met in person, Jim took the time to explain my options (including walking out and moving on with my life). I understood my options fully and I was very appreciative. When I got my first invoice, I was pleasantly surprised. He was very efficient with his time and even though he did a lot, the invoice amount was a lot less than I anticipated. I think this is partly because he talks very fast and always gets straight to the point. He is definitely not chit-chatty, which is a great trait when you are paying by the hour. He really doesn’t mess around and his experience helped move things forward as quickly as anyone possibly can in the situation. Mr. Dunn is a no-nonsense attorney. He gets right to the point and doesn't waist your time or money. We've used Mr. Dunn as our corporate attorney for most of our 40 year history. We've used him for non compete cases, employee discrimination, collections, contracts and many other cases. We've had favorable outcomes in most all cases.
