I was recently represented by Jessica at the Holland Law Firm in a collection lawsuit defense. From the process of booking a consultation, to that first meeting itself, and all the following communication and time in court, my experience was wonderful. It was overwhelming to be presented with a summons and then research the case, trying to figure out how--or even if--I should defend myself. The ease of the intake process as a client helped during my rattled state in the early days of the lawsuit, and the Holland team put my mind at ease with realistic projections of what might happen if I took various paths in the lawsuit. They were able to quickly identify steps that needed to be taken, which was good since this was a "large" case with more complicated case law than standard/smaller claims. On top of that, they were able to get the plaintiff to drop their case altogether! Best possible outcome. Easily the best money I ever spent was in securing their representation; their professionalism and knowledge saved my mental health, my finances, and gave me hope after I'd given up.

From the get go, the Whitney Law Firm gave me precise instructions on how to handle my case. I purchased a car online from a dealership in Maryland ( I'm from California). They hid a major mechanical flaw, making the vehicle worthless. I was guided to Whitney for representation. Before even representing me, they told me where to file a case with the Maryland MVA. It took a few months, but the MVA found in my favor. Dan Whitney Jr. stepped in at that point, took over, and reclaimed every dime I had spent on this endeavor, even getting my legal fees back. I moved to Houston in April, and my welcome was " being hit from behind, while at a red light ".
I was recommended an attorney that would later prove to have absolutely no integrity leaving me no choice accept to release him and search for a new attorney.
Best decision I ever made was to retain Attorney Todd White!
His demeanor is a quiet one, not to be mistaken for weakness. Mr. White showed me great and immediate assistance. His staff definitely represents him well. My experience with his employees was one that made me feel like a family member. Warm ,caring and professional.
Mr. White was able to pick up where the other attorney left off from and literally resolved my case in less than 30 days! And is currently still fighting for MORE!

Any parent or person involved in a situation of divorce/custody understands how stressful and frustrating the whole process can be. Not sure why Mr. Richardson has so many highly rated reviews?%$#@. The first clue something was wrong was when he rarely contacted his client, and when he did it was via TEXT messages, instead of phone calls! When called he rarely, if ever, made himself available and his assistant never had answers for what Mr. Richardson was doing in regards to the case and wouldn't even send documentation on billing when he dropped client with no prior warning a week and a few days before hearing. This man, and his office staff, took money for a job and did little to nothing, even worse tried up very valuable time in a child custody case for over 6 mos. If he is a man who truly cares about ALL of his clients, then he would have taken 5 mins to explained over the phone why he would no longer represent his client and more importantly, he would have done that 6 MONTHS AGO NOT the week before a hearing! Do your homework before hiring this man, get EVERYTHING in writing, and research perhaps more professional lawyers in your area. Not everyone has deep pockets of $$$ to waste on insensative lawyers, especially single moms:(((

I originally hired Sean because a plumbing company had caused structural damages to floor joists during a renovation and they would not accept responsibility. What happened instead was Sean transferred me to Joe and the lawsuit lasted 2 1/2 years. We ended up going to arbitration and I won all damages but zero lawyers fees.
Incredibly frustrating experience.
I wouldn’t hire nor recommend them.
I regret hiring Sean and Joe.

I worked with Will Reingold, Jr for my divorce, who was recommended to me by a friend. He was friendly and knowledgeable for a process that is painful for most. The guy always works and never seems to miss a beat. He is always on top of it and prioritizes to get things done/executed like you're his only client. He made efforts to resolve more complicated challenges like parental rights of embryos even though it's not his wheelhouse.

My experience with Mr. Cadora was about 10 years ago but I am still smarting . On a positive note when I needed a copy of the divorce that I got during my time with him his receptionist sent it to me. This was about 2 years ago. Thanks to that kind receptionist.
That was nice! How good is Kevin Cadora? Well I've never used a divorce attorney before but the experience was a six month nightmare due more to my wife's attorney who lied like a rug than Mr. Cadora . My ex lied on the declaration. I remember his paralegal at the time Heather said "Kevin is great on dealing with lies of the opposition" and my wife's lie's ruled the day.
I got keel hauled I feel in the end It might have been the pre nup before I got married. Pay up and get a killer one. Because Mr. Cadora might have done his best with a horrible pre-nup. I'd say this review is more about the prenup than anything. If you have assets pay $5,000 or whatever it takes to keep the Roman Legions from breaking it down.
My pre-nup was done by some guy named Courtney in Springfield Mo and it turned out to be worthless. Yes my wife lied but shouldn't a prenup protect you against lies? And if you are divorcing someone and want blood use a ruthless brutal lying attorney like my wife used. I may be juding Fair Cadora too harshly. I mean if your wife lies, she's poor and you have money you're in real jeoprady. In short GO OVERBOARD ON THE PRE-NUP.
Kevin Cadora seems honest and if anything he's got a lot of clients because he must be good and well recommended. If you get married PROTECT YOURSELF because your spouse can lie like a rug. Mine did and I paid for it. Even if you have a GREAT attorney ( Maybe Cadora is great) dont be cheap on the Pre-nup
ADDENDUM. If you get married in a state like Missouri where I got married, DO NOT TAKE YOUR SPOUSE TO CALIFORNIA IF YOUR MARRIAGE IS NOT HEALTHY. The California legal system is horrible. The whole system stinks like a cess pool. Again I am NOT saying terrible things about Mr. Cadora. He did his best. But in California, at least in San Diego, they don't seem to care a rat's butt about the truth. I can NOT figure out why they don't use polygraph tests there?? I mean had my wife had one she would have gone down like the Titanic. I think had I been in Missouri (where I got married) and NOT in California (where I got divorced) I would have been OK. But heaven help you if YOU have assets in Cali and your spouse doesn't. You could be in for a torturous procedure.

We found Nancy thru an online search for a bankruptcy lawyer in Iowa when the economy forced my job to reduce hours and do every other week on unemployment. We were struggling then to make ends meet and then my wife also lost her job due to a company re structuring. When that happened there was no possible way to keep

Even tho we know we frustrated Nancy with our questions and understanding of the process she patiently answered our questions and repeated things to us that we missed seeing. It was due to her diligence and her argument for us to have the ch7 that ensured we got it and received some help and much needed relief and we will be forever grateful. You can not go wrong In hiring her as your lawyer. She has extensive knowledge and many years of experience and if it is possible For her to help you she will. She is reasonably priced for her time and expertise and In fact is cheaper than many less experienced attorneys.

I was referred to Mr. Skaar by another attorney. I spoke several times with Mr. Skaar about a wrongful garnishment case that I had. He instructed me to get documents from the court, which I did. I let him know that I got what he asked for, and then he ghosted me! No further communication at all! No email, no return phone call. Nothing! I was willing to jump through the necessary hoops, and obviously pay for his services, and he never once got back to me. Maybe he couldn't help? If that was the case, he could have had the decency to let me know instead of ghosting. I had hope that I finally found an attorney to handle this ridiculous case, but apparently I was wrong.

My wife and I had been talking about getting our will done for years. This year was the year we got it done, and Tyler with McNeice Wheeler was fantastic. We scheduled a phone call with him due to COVID and was patient as we worked out the three way calling between my office, his office, and my wife at home. He gave a high level overview of the process and conversation we were going to have, then filled in some of the details, and then walked us through each step asking us questions about what we wanted and what our goals were. We had a less than typical case and he recognized that a traditional will was not the best option and helped us set up a trust. He asked lots of questions and allowed us to as well. It was a very collaborative process. He had the documents drafted and sent to us quickly. Due to an error on our end, we didn’t realize we had them for a few days, but when we realized it, we reviewed the drafts and were happily surprised at the small details included that we had never thought of. He was patient with our (mostly mine) several emails asking questions and requesting clarification and answering hypotheticals. Once we were satisfied, we scheduled a convenient time for us to go in and sign. They had everything ready and laid out in the conference room with the necessary witnesses and notary (all socially distanced of course!) and made it super easy to pop in, sign, and continue with the rest of our errands that day. If you need your estate planning done, or any legal support, McNeice Wheeler deserves your attention.

Contacted Thomas and his firm. Believed he would help as he read about the case, seemed to see the obvious flaws in the case against my mother that her neighbor had. You can tell it was completely false. Whole time we felt like we had to chase, eventually after about two weeks he just completely disappeared. No response back. We just wasted time for nothing.

I found Peggy after googling and reading about 100+ reviews. She was very helpful in making everything very straightforward and simple. Many times I wanted to put super specific language in there to address potential fears of mine but 99% of the time, they were items that weren't enforceable, were already covered by law, or were things she encouraged I keep a more open mind about. She spends a ton of time in the courtroom, is familiar with all the Cook County judges, and has decades of experience so I appreciated how black and white she made things. Peggy is very direct and concise. In our initial interview, she cut me off a time or two because I was apparently talking more than listening. At first, I was turned off by it (even though it was true lol) but I immediately saw it as an advantage with opposing counsel and I was 100% correct about that. If you're a person who likes control or is long-winded and isn't used to constructive feedback, consider this an opportunity to work on that because I actually quickly grew out of the experience. She has only 100% of your best interest at heart and I could tell that during the interview.
She was also very personable, and I really appreciated how well she could relate to my situation. We had several really good discussions not only as attorney/client but also as single parents; she's further ahead in this process than me and really opened my eyes in a few areas (*cough* giving them mobile phones when they get older *cough*).
As a techie, I was looking for more digital redlining, PDF editing etc but we did most everything via email modifications. It ended up being ok and made it super easy for me to search for emails with any changes that were made. She's always available via text but please don't misuse that or else she'd never have time to get things done; she (or her paralegal) is super responsive via email as well.
Cost-wise, pay the flat fee upfront and you will save $10K minimum easily and my situation was pretty straightforward and easy in comparison to most people.
I had a great experience and outcome in my divorce proceedings and would recommend Peggy to handle things.
