Joel is AMAZING! I hired him for an expungement and he made the process of expunging my record smooth, easy, and quick. He not only expunged the charge but also the ticket that was thrown out alongside the charge for no additional cost without me even asking. What sets him apart from other strong lawyers is he is very reassuring and nonjudgmental about whatever situation you are presenting, and he made the entire process stress free. Initially when first reached out other firms never returned my call or simply ignored me. The day I called jacobs&Dow they reached back the same hour.I had two different cases that were entwined. As a fellow attorney, years ago I met with Dow regarding a fairly simple matter. I found him to be profane, cavalier, arrogant, self righteous & borderline unethical in attempting to catergorize a retainer as "non refundable". In spite of dealing to represent me, he wanted to keep the retainer. Thankfully he realized the error of his ways & we both agreed the retainer monies should go to a woman with stage 4 ovarian cancer.

Looks like my review was unfairly taken down....guess this firm wants to keep my families experience hush hush. I TESTIFIED in court on behalf of my brother and the custody over my two nieces, we had two family meetings with Tyler plus I sent him a very long and lengthy email in November of 2023 that he never replied to yet charged my father $350 to read, which I don't believe he even read my email. So if this firm is trying to claim my review is not valid because I didn't hire Tyler myself they are incorrect!!! I was a part of this entire journey so for Google to take down my review after this firm reported it is not OK as I was involved with this case from beginning to end.- so here is my review again!!!! ZERO stars!!!! My father and brother hired Tyler Lambert to help my brother win his custody battle with his two young daughters. Tyler many times was very hard to get in touch with and would ignore phone calls over and over again. I kept telling my dad and brother that they needed to hire a new attorney because Tyler did not have my brothers best interest at heart. I wish they would've taken me a little more seriously however they felt they had invested so much money in him already that they stuck by him. Tyler showed no evidence in court to help my brother out... We submitted text messages, social media posts, conversations, photos of our family over the last 16 years with my brothers daughters, etc...Tyler used none of it in court. He had so much proof on my ex sister in law and how her attorney was blowing everything out of proportion plus evidence that could have made my brother's ex look really bad and prove she's a liar - but Tyler provided none of it and when they were claiming untrue statements about my brother he didn't object, not one time!!!! Tyler told all of us that were testifying on the stand that we needed to "be nice" and say "nice things" about my ex sister in law and that we should NOT provide any family photos as this judge doesn't like seeing family photos. Meanwhile the other side TRASHED my brother and they also showed a ton of photos - clearly Tyler's advice was the worst we could have taken. The end result were my nieces moving away with their mother to Illinois and pinning my brother as a bad father. He's an amazing father. He just has a bitter and scorned ex-wife that wanted to hurt him so badly that she used her own children for leverage. Do not hire Tyler if you are going through a custody battle with children... He does not care and will not show proof and documentation of what you give him to help your case out. He basically collected a paycheck and nothing more. Now my brother's daughters are in a fatherless environment because he failed to do his job properly. I WILL CONTINUE TO REPOST REVIEWS IF THIS ONE IS TAKEN DOWN - THIS EXPERIENCE WAS MY EXPERIENCE FIRSTHAND WITH TYLER!!!!!

James Cordes provided terrible advice. His drafting was sloppy and required extensive redrafting by opposing counsel, and he advised me to take a terrible deal. Because of James, I am taking home a fraction of my income. Unfortunately, I didn’t realize how bad it was until firing him and employing new counsel. He is a nice man, but a bad lawyer. I wish I had gotten a second opinion before it was too late.

I do see that she has good reviews but I’m guessing she tries to bully/use attorney tactics to not list them. This attorney was hired over 7 months ago and has done zero offensive moves. She tried surprising me with a bill 7 months after service. We were gonna trade man hours of construction work for man hours of attorney work. When I tried to confront her of why she doesn’t answer emails/calls for sometimes weeks on end she immediately withdrew. My daughter is literally getting abused on her watch and she has not filed one single motion on my daughter’s behalf. For 7 months my daughter has continued to get abused physically and mentally without a single motion filed. I asked for simple counseling and some phone time to be able to communicate with my daughter since day one. Here we are 7 months later and apparently she’s ready to file a motion. She must have some sort of agenda because she commanded an immediate start date on a huge master bathroom full remodel top to bottom. She thinks her less than 20 hours she’s put into my case over a 7 month time period earns a $50,000 bathroom that takes months to complete. So after 7 months of making my daughter experience Child protective services, police contact and care house interview which all only put my daughter through even more abuse. Now after I complain that my daughter isn’t getting any help from her she runs away and drops my daughter in the middle of a high conflict case. She was only concerned with manipulating me into giving her some elaborate bathroom with months of work in exchange for less than 20 hours of her time. For everyone else I hope she returns your phone calls and emails in a timely manner. Make sure you ask how much she charges upfront and make sure she returns your calls or emails in a 24 hour period. She’s probably going to bully me or tell all attorneys not to help my daughter. Super sad and seems very bitter/manipulative.

Had a very great consultation with David Robert Squeri III. He was cordial, respectful, but above all knowledgeable in Real Estate matters.
Not only was he well versed in current law that applied to me, but he also gave me insight as to how to understand the law. Based on meeting with him, I have better direction and can feel empowered with the knowledge in real estate.

When you're dealing with things like DV and custody, the last thing you need is to be used and abused by your lawyer/firm, someone who is supposed to advocate for and care about you.
I was with this firm for about a year. I was forced to switch to 3 different lawyers and was charged each time. DO NOT go with this firm. The first lawyer I had was so cold and gave bad legal advice that ended up screwing up my case. I was with the second lawyer for about a month before they switched me again. Again, I was charged each time for each new lawyer to review my case and to meet with them to catch them up. It was traumatizing because I'm going through a custody battle and DV case so each time I had to explain again about how my soon to be ex-husband is abusing and has abused me and my children. I've also been charged even when THEY had to reschedule a meeting. It was unreal. They called me a couple hours prior and I graciously agreed. Thankfully I watched the bills because they had the nerve to charge me for that call. It seems like they are very scattered, unorganized and greedy. I acknowledge that lawyers deserve to be paid but they absolutely went too far.
One of my lawyers I had literally called me the wrong name in court multiple times. One time mispronouncing it and one time calling me someone else's name entirely. It was humiliating. She also filed papers from someone else's case with my case papers. It was a nightmare! I'm so thankful I left and I now have a lawyer who genuinely cares.

We came here to take passport pictures @11:00am, and there was only one associate working. She told us she’d help in a couple minutes and told us to stand on the side and proceeded to help 4 people after us. about 15 minutes go by then she lets us know she can only take the picture but we’d have to come back to pick it up, we also let her know that we had an appointment and needed the pictures done ASAP. She should’ve let us know that she couldn’t help us the first time or let us know that it would take longer than the few minutes she told us. So unprofessional and wasted our time. We always go to this location because they take 10 minutes max to help us out. This store and associate need to do better.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Absolutely THE problem when it comes to attorneys this day and age.(maybe it’s just with men). If you want a game where you're being strung along and billed forever playing the rollercoaster game with you and your children's life instead of evidence being presented in a costly/timely and empathetic manner THIS IS YOUR GUY. Mr. Bancroft, i just got off the phone with you where you hung up on me stating that I’m threatening you. Get over your ego and realize that your business as a practicing attourney needs realignment. I wrote you about a standing invoice you provided totaling to less than the amount that Ive paid to you months prior with no response. After speaking to your paralegal, then being transferred to your “billing dept.” and speaking to them I was provided with a newer invoice…..with newer charges, where whomever was working before had originally just simply “forgot to send me the invoice”….what a convenient coincidence. After speaking with her, I was transferred to you where I had a conversation with your ego. Well, from the little guy(s) down here Mr. Bancroft, do whats right and fabricating invoices to skip out on paying balances owed on any moneys paid to you for the services that you DID NOT PROVIDE are just not that. Client paid $1750 in retainer fees(half of your 3500 to get the case started) and had to chase said attourney down for enquiries with little to no communications outside of ones that were initiated by me/client, INCLUDING in person conversation with YOU where I unexpectedly paid a visit to your office in August after I could not successfully contact anyone and asked about a status of my case. You did not recall my case by name until we went to your office and you searched my name.(keep in mind, this is three months after contracting). Attourney invoicing per attourney-client portals all state work for balance of $753, with latest payment from client being $631 in October.(this never happened, only payment made was the initial one and didn't make another due to subpar and in my opinion MALPRACTICAL, I'm aware that isn't an official word, service). After a few months of calling and majorly being placed on hold, back and forth’s with promises of returned calls or motions with paralegals, multiples of them and finally being frustrated with the reality of paying an attourney and not being fought for……while fighting a vindictive situation with my children as a GREAT DAD I asked for an explanation stating that if I did not hear anything as ai had been I wanted to discontinue services and be refunded via message inside of the client portal, I THEN was given a response…..but not with accountability, not with a plan of action, not to communicate any valuable evidence or structured plan of action, but to speak downward of me on the “dismal” months of non-payment……….ultimately this attourney demanded I paid him his past due amount, in addition to totals for mediations that hadn't even been had yet to avoid him WITHDRAWING. Needless to say I attended the mediation PRO SE, paid the mediator directly. I’m now on maximum state mandated child support and standard visitation for the children I equally raised because the relationship did not work out with their mother…finally divorced none the less. All of the evidence in the world to fight that good fight never presented, never saw a represented court setting, money just wasted and thank GOD I demanded a standard or it could have been MUCH MUCH worse financially. Contracted with this attourney on 5/24/2024….attourney withdrew as of 11/5/2024, yet they have still attempted to withdraw payment from my bank as of latest, 12/19/2024…….this was my SECOND attourney over a course of what I recall as a 3 year nightmare……I can confidently say, this is whats wrong with the family law system! I would NEVER recommend Chad Marlowe. I sought Chad’s expertise for an offense in which I was innocent. After paying thousands for his legal expertise, he tried to convince me to just plead guilty because “I had no chance of winning”. This would have ruined my future career. Thankfully I never followed this advice and decided to fight it. He stayed on my case but what was incredibly unprofessional and nonresponsive regarding the court dates. I had to call the courts myself to find out the dates and even the final verdict. In the end the case was dismissed which I am incredibly grateful for, however I take full responsibility for that. If it was up to him I would have just plead guilty, saving him his precious time.

I was arrested for DWI and Assault in Fairport, NY. I was a passenger in a car driven by my girlfriend. We had stopped in the road to make a turn and a car rear ended us.
The impact was so great that the car was totaled. I had to climb out of the driver side window and that is when the driver who hit us told the Police that I was the driver.
The driver of the other car came over to me and started a fight and I had to defend myself and my girlfriend.
I immediately contacted Mr. Morabito to represent me for the criminal charges of DWI, assault and traffic tickets. If I was convicted of DWI, I would have lost my job.

I have been wanting to do this review for a while, because Mr. Balli and his law firm deserve it. I don't know how much it will help Mr. Balli, but I hope it helps you. If you ever find yourself in a tough situation Mr. Balli is the best in Laredo and like my husband says he's a beast. That is what you need a beast; not scared to go up in front of the judge or jury. He will do everything he can legally to defend you as much as viable. You have to be patient and mentally strong. Just know that he can not give you updates every week, but when the time comes to represent you he will. My husband was initially looking at forty years and was sentenced to two years. I would definitely rehire Mr. Balli and his law firm to represent us, because he has great knowledge in the law and knows how to apply it to his client's needs.
