I was referred to David by my mediation attorney to help with a challenging post-divorce custody dispute. David was truly exceptional throughout the process, which ended favorably. He took the time to understand the personal and legal nuances of the situation and clearly laid out my options. I retained David Steerman to represent me in a child custody matter in which I was wrongfully accused of various claims by my childs other parent. In what was an extremely difficult time in my life, David was thoughtful, diligent, and attentive to my case. I was most impressed by his ability to treat my case like it was his only focus throughout the process. He spent countless hours preapring for and representing me in my trial.
By educating me on law, and by representing me in the most honorable way through honesty and diligence, we successfully defeated the false claims and I retained custody of my child. In addition to being extremely thorough, detailed and knowledgable, David was understanding, compassionate and sensitive. Most importantly however, he listened. He did not push me into unnecessary litigation and listened to my unique requests. My divorce consisted of one meeting with both parties represented, and one follow up meeting to sign the paperwork. I could not have had a better attorney for my divorce case. He wasn’t my first attorney for the divorce . Many times things were falling apart with my original council, who had poor ethics and bled so much of my finances running me in the ground with little done. This is when I and hired mr shumer who took the challenge when my case was a mess. He quickly pulled everything together and tied up every loose string in record timing. My only regret is not finding him first! He was recommended by a friend of mine, who also spoke very high of him. There is much more I can go on to explain what a god send he was for me, and I wouldn’t be where I am today if it wasn’t for him. He was always honest, put me at ease with his guidance , updated me promptly with any developments, and truely seemed to care. And was very generous with his billing which was another plus ! Haha. I reached out to Renee to get a second opinion on the expungement for my DUI. I'm in the ARD program and she is helping to expedite the expungement process. The attorney that represented me during my DUI trial said there was nothing else I could do to get the DUI off of my record early. Renee is looking at different angles and moving forward with helping to resolve this matter. I also received two summary charges that do not look good on my record for future job opportunities. She is helping me to appeal these charges when two other attorneys told me there was nothing I could do.
Renee is very intelligent, aggressive and most importantly I could tell she cared about me and my stressful situation. That is very hard to find especially when one approaches an attorney for the first time. I highly recommend Renee for any legal issues.

I found Elliot after interviewing several other attorneys that I just didn’t trust. It seemed to me like everyone else was all about the money and not concerned about my case. Not Elliot though. He met with me after his normal business hours, assured me that he will do the best he can for me and he sure did deliver the exact results I was expecting. I recommend him. I am pleased with the results. He is very responsive, if he doesn’t pick up he always texts back or returns your call. Elliot Green helped our family immensely. Unfortunately, our family suffered when my daughters' mother behaved erratically, threw the children out of her home, and no longer could properly care for them. Because of Elliot's hard work, and the excellent job he did in direct examination at the trial, I won sole legal and residential custody of both children. Actually, Elliot did a supreme job, better than expected -- as I had gone into the proceedings thinking I would get residential custody and not legal custody, too. I had spoken to Michael about a potential custody hearing and he was very methodical throughout the entire ordeal. Vanessa Samano is simply the best there is for child custody cases, specifically high conflict. I would highly recommend Vanessa for any type of divorce or family law case, but specifically if you have a need for representation for Juvenile Court. Vanessa has the relationships with the courts, judges, and other attorneys across East Tennessee. She is highly respected and knows the law, but mostly she cares about the families she represents. I could not have asked for someone who believed in me and my case more. She will be honest, even when it's not what you want to hear. She will encourage you to always do the right thing and to not just check boxes but legitimately follow through.
Vanessa helped me navigate a complex divorce followed by a difficult custody case in which I obtained primary custody. As a single Dad, this was not easy even though the facts were in my favor. I've been working with Attorney Andy Brown for approximately 6 years. He's handled my divorce and custody cases. He has always been there when I needed him and I am confident that he's helped me achieve the best possible results.
To say that my ex is "high conflict" would be putting it mildly. For 6 years she would "ride the line" of what she thought she could get away with (calling the police/CPS for trivial matters, trying to drive a wedge between my sons and I, etc).
In the end, Attorney Brown was able to facilitate a reversal of custody through trial. I now have primary physical custody of my two sons.

Compassion should be Casey’s middle name. All she cared about from our first conversation was the well being of my children as if they were her own. She was extremely responsive and helped me through one of the most difficult times in my life. She handled my case with such grace and dignity at a time when I needed her the most. My previous lawyer steered me so wrong so it was a blessing I found her. She was very honest about outcomes and I’m glad to say I thought of her as a friend. There's no words to Express how thankful I am for what he did for me and my husband. It's been over 8 months since my husband was released from ice custody. My then fiance was taken by ice custody on April of 2018 he had DUI's. We had a lawyer who was recommended to us who which didn't put any effort to get him out. That lawyer went for a straight voluntary departure. We weren't happy with that so we then met Nestor Diaz who I felt put his heart to our case. He made us feel like the only case he had to work on was ours. Even though we had a lot of obstacles Nestor always showed a positive attitude. It took a year of fighting but at the end he was able to get my husband released from ICE custody. If you are thinking about hiring Nestor, think no more!! I was referred to Marcia and her practice for some help with Immigration and USCIS. Our case was a little complex and Marcia grasped the details quickly and accurately. Brandon provided hope to my family at a time when our options appeared limited and the likelihood of a satisfactory resolution seemed nigh on impossible... A 10 year case of complex issues that Brandon stepped into on year 8. Not only was he able to defend us, but he has guided myself to remain calm with an empathetic demeanor. My needs and rights as a good parent were put among my childs, which always was Brandon's first concern. I was treated with respect and as a person rather than a number. My opinions were valued and my doubts were always reassured. If I was looking at things in the wrong way, Brandon was honest enough to tell me exactly that and that honesty wins my entire faith within this terrible Family Law system I have dreaded almost as much as those making such decisions probably do. I have quite a few steps in my battle but Brandon has somehow made this ordeal a battle for the best interest of child rather than allowing the typical back and forth BS.
If you're dishonest and unable to to put your child first, I'd highly not recommend Brandon.
If you're an honest parent willing to trust in order to be trusted that wants to whole heartedly fight if need be, compromise, stipulate or litigate if it means your family is in good hands.... Then I hereby recommend Brandon without any reservation.
Btw...if like myself.... Money was a huge factor in my decision making and first off.... Yes, of course family law is expensive and when I learned the hard way it truly does matter whether you go ProSe or not... I researched until my mind couldn't handle anymore. I retained Brandon after MANY consultations and my case's paperwork began within a week. 2 years later I unfortunately researched again knowing my case was a complex case that could no longer be "stipulated" and knew I needed someone that was going to litigate shall it lead there due to contempt and my child's emotional and psychological welfare in question. Brandon is entirely commited to believing in our children and their needs moreso than parents and I respect that so very much.

SC Tickets especially in Charleston county are difficult to deal with. I spoke with Mr Seibert, who had an excellent reviews for traffic violations, and he dealt with the speeding ticket at a very reasonable price. All other firms' prices were completely ridiculous and they could not even guarantee to reduce it.

I hired Dr. Jones during an ugly custody battle. As a father, I felt my concerns/points were not being taken seriously by the courts and my ex wife was playing the abused wife victim card even though the mental/physical abuse was actually done to me. Dr. Jones worked 24/7 on my case and was available to me 100% of the time. He basically held my hand and walked me through every step of the process. He brought in things our prior attorney (who had told me I would only get standard possession if courts believed me). Thanks to Dr. Jones, i am now the primary custodian of my children with 50/50 visitation for both parents. As a father, I can now help protect my kids and it is all thanks to Dr. Jones. I want to share a few words about David, who handles my uncontested divorce.
He is a high-level professional with a positive attitude and excellent work ethics. He is very responsive. David is the type of lawyer who would always call you back or shot you an email on the same day no matter what type of question you have. I had been separated from my wife for over 5 years, 2 of them trying to get her to sign Uncontested divorce papers. I left her the house and everything in it + I leased her a new car and more. One of her clients happened to be a divorce Attorney and decided to take her on Pro bono, now she wanted all sorts of things never mentioned before, I had only 1 stipulation on the paper work, that she is 100% responsible for any money owed at end of car lease, that's was it but her Attorney insisted that she not be.. I would not agree and she would not sign, we could have signed the paper work that I paid a paralegal firm to prepare, I even went to the courts and paid for the Index #, everything was done, we only needed notarized signatures and we would be divorced, No Attorneys needed but NOPE, almost 3 years later NO divorce. We were at a total standstill for a year and then I was speaking with a customer of mine and I asked what he did for a living? He answered Im an Attorney, immediately I said can I ask for some advice? He said ofcourse...... LONG STORY SHORT- I retained Benjamin Calev as my Attorney to represent me in my divorce, He said Mike all you need is to give me my retainer and I will take care of everything, you just get me any information I ask for and I will have you divorced in *6 months*- *MUSIC TO MY EARS*...( Might I ad his retainer was INCREDIBLY reasonable, and the total cost when all done? Let's just say he loves what he does and he is not all about the money... I could have easily been charged triple or quadruple what he charged me, I actually had another Attorney quote me triple). The only thing worse than a custody battle is a custody battle throughout Covid. The courts were a nightmare and the process was so broken.
