Michael was my attorney for my divorce. My ex had a large number of complicated and hidden assets and dragged the process out at every step. Michael found excellent professionals to help us sort out the mess and kept everything on track. His advice about which issues to pursue and which to let go of were very helpful in keeping focus on the matters we could make progress on and not on random issues. Cameron is the person you want representing you. It’s not just because of his expertise and experience, which he has plenty of, it’s because he is straight forward. If I could give more stars I would. He truly is a genuinely good lawyer and works with their clients and the courts how every lawyer should. He is not a "money shark" that is out for your money and will not tell you false hopes or information that leads you to paying him more. He guides you and tells you what you need to hear, not what you want to. His prices are very reasonable and every penny was more than earned with the amount of work he did for my case. His attention to detail is phenomenal, he exceeded my expectations. He took my very messy and misdirected case a month before trial and read through all the 300 documents of heavy litagation and was able to present what my previous lawyers didn't and what I tried to do pro se, but was drowned out because I'm a father. He truly is a life saver and has passion for the cases he takes. I plan to recommend him as long as he is taking clients! I found myself between a rock and a hard place. After talking to Cameron during our first consultation he told me I would have a hard time winning the contempt charge I was facing and he was right. Even though I was facing a losing battle he fought for me with what he had to work, which impressed me a lot. There's no BS with him and he's not going to nickel-and-dime you. I've had attorneys charge me a quarter-hour for a five-minute phone call. He's very easy to work with and his hourly rate is extremely reasonable. You won't be disappointed calling him.

We hired Andrea Fink to finalize the adoption of our daughter. We had been put through every hoop and hurdle and desperately needed someone to take control of the situation and get things done! Andi is the best lawyer I've ever worked with. I lost a case in San Diego to keep my daughter in California, and when I moved I was recommended to Andi to help get joint custody. After being blindsided with a request for a divorce I searched everywhere for lawyers that could help me immediately. My head began to spin with all the horror stories I heard about men's representation in divorce/parental proceedings, especially being a man of color. I was blessed to find Genevieve Davis. She immediately took my case and helped with every step of reacting to my divorce. Mrs. Davis took care of everything, and was always extremely prompt returning my calls and took her time explaining anything I did not understand (which was alot). I was blessed to find Ms. Davis and have her assistance in my Family Law case. After my ex-wife contracted a dirty and unscrupulous lawyer to “destroy my life”, as she said herself, I went through almost 2 years of fear and depression due to the threats and unimageable lies they made up about me in the process. Taking advantage of my ex-wife ignorance, her perverse lawyer kept throwing her against me, making false affirmations about myself and pushing us to go into court trials just to fill up her pockets, not caring at any moment about our mental health or even about our 5 years old daughter who was in the middle of all that. Trapped in this legal imbroglio they stuck me in, and after talking to many many family attorneys - that only seemed to care if I had enough money to pay their fees - I was extremely hopeless until Ms. Davis called me and said she was going to handle my case. That was a life changer for me. Like an angel sent from the heavens she calmed down, made feel protected and drove me through the most difficult situation of my life.

There aren't enough words to say how amazing Ms. Davis as an attorney. My case was fraught with high level conflict regarding custody of my 1 1/2 year old daughter, we were in a very unsafe living situation at the time and Genevieve took no stops to be present in her legal advice to get us out safely, she took my frantic calls on the weekends and guided my daughter and I both out of the situation (legally speaking).
After our temporary parenting plan was put into place, she worked tirelessly to prepare us for our Permanent Parenting Plan. She guided me through multiple protection orders and gracefully handled harassing calls from my ex. At all times Ms. Davis remains with a level head and exceptionally thorough in navigating the intricacies of both combative relationships and the legal system itself. My daughter's father struggled with following the rules in our Temp PP and her council successfully lead us through CR2A agreements, contempt orders and even a criminal case.
By the time we reached the Permanent Parenting Plan trial, we received every last thing we asked for, including the requirement of my daughter's father going to DV Dad's and Anger Management counseling. While my ex and I will never be "friends" through this process and counseling we are slowly learning to be civil.
Again, do not hesitate to consider Ms. Davis as council. Her brilliant, relentless and compassionate guidance can get you the results you seek not only where you are right now, but where you want your family to be in the future.

During 2011-2013 John helped me with the process to change my Visa Status. The school I was enrolled in committed several mistakes leading the change of visa from a J1 to an F1 that eventually the Visa was denied and the case was cancelled in two different occasions. John finally took care of the process and later on had to intervened with the school to avoid having me paying the fees that the USCIS required in order to re-open my case. After waiting for a long time I did get my Visa. John charged me a fee that took in consideration my financial situation.

Robert has been there for me through thick and thin, with excellent knowledge of not only Family Law but Criminal law as well and has never hesitated to answer any questions I have had. Kerry Anne had a clear and definite plan during a brief consult two months ago. You can hear on the phone that has a logical train of thought and uses clear English and projects her voice well.
This involved family court OFP. I think she would work very fast and determined with respect to her work and practice in family law.

Ms. Cumbo helped my fiance' at the time undo and conclude what turned out to be a very expensive and impulsive mistake, prior to us meeting. She was our third attorney, and we had a horrible experience with the first, who ended up having his first filing rejected by the court. This attorney proceeded, without consultation, sent the divorce case upstate to Eerie county (we are in NYC). We consulted/hired a second attorney who recommended he keep his case there in the hopes that there could be a shorter processing time.
We had consulted with other attorneys in the Buffalo area, all charged us for consultation as well as providing exhorbant fees for helping us file basic paperwork for an uncontested divorce. We felt these attorneys were trying to get a deal, another one clearly tried to scam us (increasing her fee due to "new extra court costs"). We feared and braced for the worst - that we would have to end up hiring another irresponsible attorney, who would create further delays like the first.
Due to personal matters related to my partner, it was also imperitive that the divorce be finalized, we were running out time.
We felt immense reflief when we contacted Ms. Cumbo, however. She was responsive, did not charge consultation fee, heard our case and provided a very reasonable fee for services. One thing we really liked is that she assured us she would be the only one personally working on the case. True to her word, she was the only person we ever dealt with. She also responded to calls and emails. Reaching her was never a problem.
After completing a child support case in another state related to the ex (which took months), Ms. Cumbo filed the divorce papers same day she received that judgement decree.
As a result, divorce was eventually granted divorce 4 weeks later. Last Monday, my new husband and I were able to finally get married to each other and do things right. We had hoped to never have had this prior marriage, but life doesn't always follow a straight line before meeting the right one.
One thing that made me want to contact Ms. Cumbo in the first place is a small quote on her page: "Life is a journey, and you don't have to go it alone". I felt that this attorney could understand where we were at the time.
We highly recommend Ms. Cumbo to those that value personalized services. Ms. Cumbo takes the time to explain procedure and overall plan/steps, without ever making you feel like you are wasting her time. We know that there have been times we have contacted her as she was leaving at the end of the day, and she still made time to speak to us. Because of her, we trusted in letting go and letting her handle the case, as we focused on other important matters.

I retained Mrs. Cumbo for a custody matter involving my ex and our 2 children. The case was a bit complicated because it involved not only the courts here in buffalo, but also the courts in Brooklyn NY. Mrs. Cumbo kept in contact with me and always kept me updated on procedures and how proceedings would commence. What makes her a very unique attorney is her litigation style, some attorneys are what is termed "barracuda" attorneys, and they will do their best to viciously attack the other party, however Mrs. Cumbo is not this style of attorney. She considers both parties in the case, and is willing to work towards a compromise which serves as an asset as this tends to be viewed favorably in the family court system. I am very glad I retained her services and as a result of her diligence, I was awarded sole residential custody of the children. Furthermore, as I held no animosity towards my ex, I was very pleased with how she handled the trial. I would definitely recommend Mrs. Cumbo for anyone facing a family court related matter.

I have the highest respect and admiration for Lynn Snyder, Attorney for family law. She is extremely competent, compassionate and very experienced. Lynn is not the typical attorney that looks to churn the bill at every opportunity. I was recommended to see Lynn from an outstanding attorney from the domestic violence center. My family is so lucky that I met Lynn. She had me fill out all of the typical discovery paper work prior to our first complementary interview and she was well prepared to discuss my case prior to the start of the meter running. My case involved mental health issues with my spouse. (Through this journey I’ve found out that mental health issues are more prevalent than anyone would admit in our society.) By Lynn’s 18+ years as a Master in the Courts, her sage counsel and her respect from the courthouse, Lynn enabled me to get full legal and physical custody of my children, which is just short of a miracle in the state of Pennsylvania. In the end, Lynn also helped me have my wife get the help that was needed for my wife’s recovery. Lynn never pushed me to divorce, which would have been the easiest path for someone that didn’t care, but it would not have been the best road for my family. Lynn has helped me with a very complex child custody case which she resolved
Smoothly for both parties. Then my wife put a PFA order against me which Lynn successfully argued and cross examined in court with my wife and the judge dropped the final PFA order just based on wife'a testimony and Lynn amazing discovery skills. James is a professional, who cares about his clients. Throughout my case, James was persistent and precise with each situation that came our way. We meet with Jennifer for the first time back in 2015! My husband and I were very concerned about the well being of our grandson. He had already survived a head injury when he was only 11 weeks old. My husband an I prayed that God would save him and heal him. He was flown to cook's children's hospital on two separate occasions. I was charged with a class d felony. Tammy didn’t look at me as just another client or another paycheck. She treated me and my family like her own. From the beginning I was looking at 2 years in jail and it was more or less certain that I was going to spend a good amount of time in jail. I settled on the first plea deal we got and it involved no jail time at all. She went above and beyond in every aspect of this case. A year and a half ago I filed for divorce and hired a cheap attorney not knowing anything about how difficult this journey would be that I was embarking on. After a month into my divorce I realized quickly that this would be immensely difficult and had doubts. In family law it is absolutely true that you get what you put in. Brook was an amazing consultant in our legal matters regarding a minor in our household. She fought fairly but stood by us and up for us during the entire process. There are few attorneys who would jump in their car and drive 3 hours because they have to file in a court and want to make sure it gets hand delivered and signed. There are even fewer who would make the drive multiple more times for the sake of getting the matter handled quickly and efficiently. Bonnie Nicole (Nikki) Hudman was exactly what I wanted and needed in a divorce lawyer. So often, we hear about contentious divorces in which the focus seems to be making the opposing party as miserable as possible. I did not want my case to be like that. Sure, making a cheating spouse go through all kinds of hell would be enormously satisfying; but, after all, that approach only serves to make everyone miserable and runs up your legal fees. I wanted a lawyer who is smart, someone who pays extraordinary attention to the details, and a lawyer who is professional and completely ethical. Nikki fulfilled all those requirements. I never doubted her loyalty to me. I know she had plenty of other clients, but she made me feel as though my case was of the utmost importance. I tried to not call or email her unless I really needed to; but when I did, she was very prompt to respond. When my case went to mediation, I was ready to give into demands from the opposing counsel. She looked me square in the face and said she would not let me do that. She said that I deserved more. Now, eight months later, I'm so happy she did that. I suppose we could have gone to trial to fight for an even greater percentage of the marital property, but Nikki clearly explained the possible benefits and the likely added expense. She definitely had my best interest in mind rather than increasing her legal fees. In the end, I'm very pleased with the outcome. My case finished with a property division I'm happy with, legal fees that weren't too painful, and the knowledge that my lawyer did a top-notch job for me. Best of all, I walked away with my dignity. Can't say that for the other side!
Just a note about Nikki's firm: Everyone that worked on my case was professional and courteous, especially Nikki's assistant. Every time I went to their office, I was treated with respect and kindness. I initially consulted with one of the partners. He suggested that I work with Nikki.
