Family law court cases already start amidst trauma, turmoil, unrest and drama while draining each participant financially. The entire process, forces everyone involved to bring out the worst in each other in order to secure a "win" while leaving the children, who are already confused, stuck in the middle. Justin and I sat down originally once I decided to attempt shared parenting. He was very helpful with discussing the process that needed to be done and the proper steps in doing so. Him and I always kept an open communication during this process which made it easier to respond to certain steps during this. He was overall a Great Person to work with and Fought for what he felt was right for the children in the process. We received full custody.

My divorce turned into a nightmare. My ex fought us on absolutely everything, refused to provide court ordered documentation, just made it extremely difficult. Mr. Zeiger was honest about what was/wasn't worth a fight. From his experience he already knew what the outcome would be. He fought hard for what was right, didn't let the lack of cooperation from the other side detour him. He found ways to gather the necessary documentation without their assistance. In the end the settlements were fair and I didn't have any regrets about the decisions we made and how it was all handled.

It had been both confusing and stressful over the years, as I had initially attempted to get legal help to resolve problems in the original paperwork from other legal counsel, with no luck. In a final attempt, I feel very fortunate to have found and received the legal help and guidance from Ms. Root and her team. We worked through several challenging obstacles, explaining legal terms and steps required along the way, and then ultimately receiving the required military calculation information for final negotiations and terms of the final documents. The goal was to file clarifying divorce military benefits paperwork, for the outcome of a revised court order to receive these benefits. After much effort by all, we received this new court order.

My divorce was harrowing, and Jordan Young kept me afloat.
I was part of a very nasty divorce, and really thought I was going to lose time with my daughters, but Jordan stepped up and helped me not only survive, but eventually win more time with the kids.
She was able to understand the emotional complexities of divorce, but also didn't mince words about what would or wouldn't hold water in court. It was honestly a fantastic balance of accurate legal consultation and emotional support, which as I understand it with many attorneys is a rare combination.
She also didn't stand for any of the nonsense my ex tried to pull, and was the first to speak up when something was trending in an unreasonable direction.
I had a less-than-useless attorney prior, and got metaphorically disemboweled by the enormous bills, especially since no progress was made. I hired Jordan, and because her billing is always fair and justified, I was able to financially weather the storm as well. I NEVER got a bill that didn't make sense.
You truly couldn't ask for a more capable or helpful attorney to see you through the often ugly divorce process.

Attorney Laura Unflat is truly a compassionate professional! I was referred to her buy another attorney, if that doesn't say something nothing does. I have to say I could not be happier the way Laura handled my case. My case was not simple divorce lot of moving parts but she was very compassionate, and treats you like an equal not a client, which is not easy to find with attorneys. Divorce is not easy, but she reassures you when needed and had total compassion when it got tough. She is very professional, but tough when needed, she will not be pushed around.. I hired Laura to help with what was supposed to be a simple prenup; and through wacky twists and turns with a very difficult opposing attorney Laura was a steadfast advocate for me until it was completed. She very specifically figured out what was important to me, and was excellent at providing hypothetical situations to explain the implications of each provision. Her advice was thorough and backed up by examples from her experience.
As the agreement moved towards completion, and things got more contentious, I felt very comfortable when she would advocate directly with the other attorney because I knew she understood my interests and desires. She was very communicative with me and I felt well informed of each step. She was also very sensitive to and open about discussing billing when I had questions.
I highly recommend Laura Unflat for consultation for prenups, and if I ever have a family law need in the future, I will certainly call on her again.

As a young woman, I knew very little about the judicial system. Melissa represented me in TWO cases one about child custody and a separate one about a domestic abuse case. As dramatic as the title is, Mr. Davis did just that. I was in the divorce of hell! Not to mention a custody battle that included IVF. The question was if the baby that I carried via RIVF( carried wife’s egg) was legally mine. As the state of Georgia does not legitimate children born of IVF, I was told that I was a biological stranger to my children. Like the child that was cut out of my uterus could be taken away from me as well as our son that was born a month before marriage. My life was literally being ripped apart! Mr. Davis did not offer any promises but assured me that we would take this thing head on. He did just that I was granted 50/50 custody to both of my children and child support. He’s a godsend! He got me an informal probationary period with the Judge. I didn’t have to pay my ticket as long as I slow down for a 6 month period and took an online defensive drivers course. Prior to hiring Tiffany Scott to assist with my child custody case, I had a total of 15 consultations with attorneys from all over the valley. I felt confident with my decision to move forward with Tiffany for many reasons. The #1 reason was because I felt she was the most genuine and transparent about my options and possible outcomes, while others pretended they could guarantee the outcomes I wanted, which you find out very quickly into a family law case that it is not possible. At every stage of the process, Tiffany took the time to provide me with every possible scenario so that I could make the decision I felt was best for myself and my son. It was critical to me to always have a realistic picture of what I was getting into and what it meant for my son's future relationship with me and with his father.
Another reason I appreciate working with Tiffany so much is because she immediately provided tips on how to save money on unnecessary attorney costs, such as minimizing emails and phone call costs by asking as many questions as possible at once. As a single mother, saving costs was very important to me and other attorneys I had consultations with suggested to immediately pursue temporary orders, which ultimately would have been a costly and unnecessary step in my case. Additionally, there were not any minimum hours billed for physical court appearances while one attorney I spoke with charged a minimum of 3 hours for court appearances.
A 3rd reason I loved working with Tiffany is because of her timely response to my emails and phone calls; and her clear, detailed and effective communication, which I felt ultimately saved me costs by minimizing back and forth emails or calls.
I could go on for a few more paragraphs on why I will undoubtedly hire Tiffany again and refer Tiffany to anyone looking for a family law attorney.
