I had telephone consultation with Leslie. She listened to my situation carefully. Asked the right questions and gave me advice about how to proceed next. I was referred to Leslie by another DVPO attorney. I have to say never does any attorney work overtime non sleep til morning to meet deadline not because she waited til last min but because she is constantly a step ahead of what is anticipated response from other party. I slept at midnight she worked Graveyard til Noon deadline.
My hearing is not here yet for a few days but the preparation this woman does is OUTSTANDING. I didn’t want to write a review now in fear she will be too busy for my case but I thought its only fair to give credit where credit is due.
Although I made my retainer minimal I know Leslie has well over exceeded her hours I paid her. But never once she ask for more money. I was hoping she would so I can pay her for her time. :-) happy to!
My case got from complex to completely extremely complex. From dvpo to family law to overly complex.
My great appreciation to Leslie for working non stop to get it done no matter what it’s takes. that’s a HUGE quality hard to find in an attorney.

Senior attorney, Clarke Dummit is an amazingly sweet, considerate, thorough, direct, and well-rounded attorney. I went to him for a consultation and he answered all of my questions himself. I went through an extremely contentious divorce with Rene by my side and thank goodness. I could trust him always to be honest, ethical and to go after our priorities. He is a kind and empathetic human being and also never wavers in his professionalism. My case involved domestic violence which meant added complications and also meant I was even more all over the place emotionally. Rene was always, always a calm, steadying force bringing me back to center, back to integrity and refocusing me on our priorities. Which made it possible for me to advocate as well as I could for myself and my son - if I had not been able to do that it would have been a big regret for me. I imagine that is an accomplishment in most divorces. But when your ex drags you back into court over and over for years it is a major feat - he has the patience of Job. I should also mention we won almost every point, and ultimately accomplished all of our priorities. Not through snarky fighting or misleading arguments or playing on technicalities (which are a horror to experience in court). In court or mediation, Rene is not theatrical or super aggressive, he is confident, reasonable and matter of fact - from what I have witnessed this is very much appreciated by the legal professionals involved. I probably did not have the presence of mind to acknowledge it at the time - but now I feel as good about how we won as I do about winning.
The other thing people always want to know about is cost. It was not cheap, of course, it took a long time and my ex is really good at creating situations I need Rene to handle for me. But Rene has always been more than fair in his charges, accounting for every penny, and never ‘rounding up’ when he could have easily justified it. He is just as ethical in his billing as he is in his practice of law.
Clearly, I recommend him highly. I am trying to remember what I wanted to know before I started this journey. I went to Rene because my cousin (also an attorney) had seen him practice years before and was so impressed she never forgot his name. When I sat down with him he did not say everything was going to go exactly as I wanted nor did he seem resigned to it happening. I don’t like it when people ‘sell’ me by painting a best case scenario only - and there was none of that. He listened very closely and cut straight to the issues that mattered to me and presented options - which is pretty much the definition of a competent attorney. And I remember looking around his office and seeing multiple awards for ethical practice; which in conjunction with my cousin’s recommendation tells me he is well respected in the legal community. Nothing I have experienced in the intervening years has altered that first impression; it has only grown better.

My attorney worked diligently with so much compassion and determination to have my granddaughter removed from an unsafe environment and returned home to me while decisions are being made regarding her living situation in the Juvenile Court system.

Recently, I needed to revisit an extremely difficult family law issue. My previous experience with the case was terrible - including both my former representation and the opposing counsel. Additionally, the opposing party (my X-wife) has been and remains uncooperative. For these reasons, it was a difficult decision to revisit an already extraordinarily painful legal conflict.
When searching for representation via phone consultations, I was immediately impressed by Danielle's sense of fairness, her thorough understanding of the field, and her obvious intelligence. Mostly, I was impressed by her integrity. I hired her because of these characteristics.
As I hoped, we were able to navigate a variety of unfortunate tactics presented by the opposing party. In my opinion, because of Danielle's excellent representation, the conflict was resolved in the best way possible.

John Rosecrans represented me in a divorce proceeding (2014-2015). John definitely achieved excellence in each of the above ratings. Also, he is a man of principle. His reports for mediation were free of hearsay and malignment towards both parties in the divorce. I learned from this experience that, while divorce is never easy or pretty, the attorneys have the capacity to either moderate or exacerbate dissension between the parties. I went to Anica in 2007 to file for an uncontested dissolution from my ex-husband whom lived 1300 miles away. She is an extremely caring, compassionate, and kind person. She really takes the time to get to know her clients, understand their situations, and she does her best to make the process as stress-free as possible. We had some bumps and lumps in the journey towards dissolution due to the distance, but she worked diligently to get the case wrapped up and taken care of, so that I might have my life back.

I would highly recommend Mr. Odimba For anything dealing with family practice. What I enjoyed was that he stayed on top of everything and if there were any big concerns dealing with the other side he would let me know what's going on and suggest the best route to take. Jillian assisted me with a divorce/custody case for nearly a year, and I have nothing but praise for her! She is timely in her responses to questions, genuinely cares about her clients, and is extremely knowledgeable in her fields of practice. As a father, I was very cautious in my hiring decision when legal representation became necessary, due to fighting an uphill battle against mother-bias in the Washington State judicial system. Jillian was able to offer me advice, guidance, and expertise in all aspects of my case, constantly giving me hope and confidence that I would not be left with nothing by the court. She never made promises that she could not keep, and was always straightforward and honest with me when dealing with the various scenarios that played out during my case. Jillian is distinctly professional and we didn't miss a single vital deadline during my case thanks to her!
Now about the cost. Honestly, I was put off by it at first. I met with about a dozen attorneys who were both more and less expensive to hire, but you are getting every penny's worth by hiring Jillian. She is truly worth her rate and more, and I couldn't imagine where I would be if I had not invested in her!
In summary, I have nothing but respect for Jillian, and I wouldn't hesitate to hire her again if my legal needs fell in her realm of practice. Jillian is wonderful! She represented me for over three years; first for a dissolution of marriage, and then for a petition for modification of custody/parenting plan. Her experience, rationality, and focus have produced excellent results. She is exceptional in the courtroom by being well-prepared and very quick on her feet.
I've found Jillian to have great attention to detail and foresight. She often would recall something relevant and useful that I had overlooked. My case was lengthy and complicated. From the beginning she set a clear path and expectations for me. If there were changes during the process she would adjust those expectations and clearly communicate them to me. Jillian and her office have always kept me well informed and quickly responded to my questions and concerns. They’re efficient and trustworthy.
The outcome of my case was better than expected due to Jillian's help. Mr. Paris represented me in both criminal and civil matters stemming from domestic issues. In the criminal case, his investigation and pre-trial prep were thorough. During the preliminary hearings, he presented all options and recourses, with all possible outcomes, allowing me to make an educated decision about my future. At trail, he was eloquent and able to change tact with newly presented information to achieve an acquittal. The civil case was long and drawn out. I'm sure many cases that stem from domestic issues have a lot of emotion involved. Mr. Paris was again able to explain the situation clearly, toning down the knee-jerk emotions of his client, present all the options, and be a consultant to help me again make educated decisions. His pre-trail prep work was again thorough and rigorous. I cannot speak to his conduct during a civil trial, as this case was concluded in arbitration. Sean is honest and trustworthy. If I ever need legal services again, he will be my first call.

After being put in the position of having to hire a criminal defense attorney, luckily I hired Sean. I found that he believed in my innosence and went above and beyond to prove it and my case was ultimately dismissed. His legal knowledge, courtroom presence and client support proved invaluable. If you need an attorney to be on your side he's the one. Just be prepared for blatantly honest answers and opinions from him. It's hard to wrap up a year and a half of your life into one summary that words cannot express how highly I would reccommend this man.

Ms. Brazil represented me in the past, and when I had a motion filed against me for modification of parenting time she agreed, on short notice, to represent me again. Ms. Brazil helped right away, even though she was busy with other cases. A hearing was scheduled on her vacation week and Ms. Brazil represented me in court while on vacation.

I must admit, I chose Jacquelyn Gonz for 2 reasons. 1) Her initial consult was free, 2) Gender.

Rita has handled two issues I've had. One was family related, one business. On both occasions she went out of her way to help us. She is very responsive. I am a Transsexual woman and hired Mr. Arems Dilaveri for my attorney to fight an unwarented stop leading to charges of a DUI. Mr. Dilaveri showed me a great deal of respect during our consultation and showed charicter that I had not seen in other offices.
I decided to hire Arens Dilaveri not only because he was reasonably priced but also presented a very strong presense of confidence. After he completed his discovery. He felt confident that my case had a good chance of being won.
After some delay from the prsecution and an accident in which the arresting officer was injured I had my first hearing almost a year later.
Mr. dilaveri discused his stratagy with me and allowed me to be prepared for questions from him and what whould be expected from the prosectors. He was calm and confident and it put me at ease even with being on the stand.
During the hearing he was very persistant and deliberate in his questioning. He was able to keep the officer and the prosecution therein on the defensive throught the hearing. He was able to establish fact out of a situation that the prosecution tried to make seem hear-say in reguards to my testomony. HAsking the questions of the officer that allowed the future questions be me to be allready established as a situation that was most likly.
After the hearing he was reassureing to me about how the days events had gone. He typed up the writen argument that he submitted to the Judge over two weeks earlier than the prosecution submitted theres. He kept me informed of the situation.
Roughly a month after the hearing I recieved an E-mail from MR. Dilaveri that I had won my case and it had been thrown out. With all evidence being suppresed due to the nature in which it was obtain was not legal.
I would recommend this attorney to anyone needing someone to fight for them in court. He is quick, smart, tactful and extremely respectful. I not only recomend him because he allowed me to clear my name but because of these traites. I had offered him this high of regaurd for his work for me before the case was even finalized.

Derek is just like anyone else but got a special talent. He is AMAZING with his work. Never been in trouble before let alone being charged with 4 felony counts for things I didn’t do. I finally get sentenced soon and he helped me get a plea deal with No jail and just one 5 year felony instead of having 3 more which were 20 year ones. I’m curious how sentencing will go on zoom and what he has to say. Another great thing is after 5 years and I stay out of trouble I can luckily get the felony expunged. I can't begin to express how amazing Maria was in handling my case. I filed for divorce in August of 2009 and my ex-wife immediately began an unimaginable mud-slinging campaign in an effort to gain sole custody of our children. I wanted to reply in kind and engage in that battle to refute all the lies my ex was putting forth. But, Maria had a great game plan which she came up with after our first court appearance. We would simply stick to the facts. At first, it was difficult to sit back and let my character be assassinated time and time again. However, it was very easy to trust the strategy that Maria had in place.
There were several times during my case that the outlook seemed bleak. I would get uptight, panicked or nervous. Maria was always there to explain the divorce process and tell me why we need to maintain our strategy. She was always available to answer any question, no matter how trivial it might have been. She would explain in detail why things were relevant to the court. Even if I had naïve questions like as why they were relevant, Maria explained how my course of action be in my best interests (and the best interests of my children) and how my actions would work in my favor in the long run. To say she has a firm grasp on divorce law and the entire divorce process would be a vast understatement.
It is now October of 2010 and my case has just concluded. I’m absolutely convinced Maria is part soothsayer. Her strategy played out exactly as we had discussed back in 2009. The custody evaluation worked out in my favor, just as Maria said it would. The judge saw through the mudslinging of my ex and focused on the facts, just as Maria said she would. While there are no winners in a divorce, I feel truly vindicated that I stuck to my convictions (thanks to Maria’s guidance) and the judge ruled very heavily in my favor.
This was the first instance I needed a lawyer for more than one day. I am absolutely elated that I chose Maria Maier to be that lawyer. Her expertise and guidance helped me through a very difficult transition in my life. I wouldn’t wish a divorce on anybody, but I would highly recommend Maria to anyone who needs an expert lawyer on their side should they find themselves facing a divorce.
