Attorney James Kirkland exceeded in all areas throughout the duration of my custody case. I'm an Ohio native, but relocated to Western Massachusetts, my sons lived in Ohio, but yearn to be with me. Although me residing out of State made the case complicated alone, Attorney Kirkland listened to my story and accepted the challenge. He was very organized, focus and reviewed every single detail and aspect that went into the case. I usually never write a review or give excellent ratings unless it well worth it. I am not the type of guy that logs on and reviews product or services. This, however, is my exception.
I was in the Marine Corps when Mr. Kirkland took my divorce case in 2012. I needed a lawyer to represent me in court because I could not attend any hearings, due to my military obligations. Mr. Kirkland not only took my case (and even though we didn't have a chance to meet face to face) he was able to fully complete my divorce decree in court.
Fast forward two years later. I had another crazy summons by the ex-wife (figures). Once again I need a lawyer and decided to go back to Mr. Kirkland for legal advice. Not only did he remember me after two years, but he once again took my case and fought for me.
Mr. Kirkland is an excellent lawyer at a reasonable price, and I think the most important part is that, he is military friendly. He always gets back to you and keeps you informed throughout the whole proceedings. To all my military friends out there, I highly recommend him.

I have been very pleased w/the Kirkland atty firm. The entire staff is very helpful, courteous and understanding while maintaining a professional atmosphere. Mr Kirkland himself is very open and straight forward. He answers questions in a timely manner, explains when necessary, prepares in advance and is very thorough.
I have been working w/Mr. Kirkland and his office since 2011 as we walk thru a rather contentious divorce case. Both in his office and in the courtroom, Mr. Kirkland is attentive and efficient.

Susan is more than an attorney! She cares for us, personally! Susan has been our attorney during some parenting time negotiations that started out simple and eventually became very complicated and difficult to negotiate. She is VERY knowledgeable, well-respected in the courts, and a tough negotiator for our concerns.
At one point, our case crossed jurisdictions within the courthouse and Susan was there--without hesitation--to help us navigate and convey our needs to the court. I had a situation where it was a benefit to not plead guilty to the charge. I knew a needed a lawyer who knew his way around the courts. I had never been charged with a violent crime and with very little evidence to back me up he was able to walk me through all the possible outcomes during consultation, we settled on a fair price, he was extremely professional and took the time to hear all my concerns and look over all my evidence and talk to everyone he needed to and then some. Andrew is an extremely effective attorney. I started out with a different attorney for my difficult child custody case. I did not feel that my prior attorney had my best interest in mind and was doing only the bare minimum in preparing my case. I decided to seek other representation.
I hired Andrew very late in the process, with my TPA hearing only 2 weeks away. Andrew was able to put together a very solid and sensible case based on the facts, far superior to what was done previously for me.
Right away, I noticed a dramatic difference in the way Andrew was handling and preparing my case, compared to my previous attorney. I was extremely impressed with how quickly Andrew got up to speed and reviewed/prepared all of the evidence in such a short amount of time. He is organized and stays on top of everything. In addition, he made himself very available to me, whether it was just questions I had, or any concerns or updates that I needed to know. He continued to work diligently throughout the entire weekend prior to my hearing.
Andrew has a unique ability to look at the facts, makes sense of your case, and then present them in a very intelligent and articulate way. Andrew is the entire reason I now have joint custody of my 4-month-old son and that he is being returned to his home state.
I am immensely grateful to Andrew for his hard work in fighting for my rights as a father. I absolutely recommend Andrew as an attorney. My only regret is that I did not find Andrew initially. Child custody cases are very expensive so it is critical that you hire an attorney that will work hard and fight for your parental rights. Andrew Rheingrover is that man.

Andrew has been a huge blessing and supporter in my case! I spoke to him in a consultation a couple of months prior to my separation and he took his time and listened and took notes of everything that I said to him. After speaking with him, I knew immediately that he was who I wanted to represent me if I needed him ( I had spoken to 3 other attorneys prior to meeting Andrew). Shortly after my separation, I had papers served to me from my ex to try and get full custody of our daughter. I was devastated, hurt and in disbelief that my ex would ever do something like this. I immediately contacted Andrew to let him know what was going on and he jumped on my case instantly. Andrew is very caring, knowledgeable, and a man of his word. Throughout this process he has been very pro-active and with all the stress that comes along with a separation/divorce/custody case; Andrew has a way to put you at ease. Aaron helped me with my contentious divorce. He communicated regularly with me, responded quickly to emails and phone calls, and made sure I understood everything that was happening. He didn't mind explaining things and answered all of my questions in detail.
Unfortunately, we had to go to trial (not at all his fault, the ex refused to negotiate a settlement) but Aaron did a great job for me. He was very calm and sure, and presented my case very well before the judge. In the end, I was awarded almost everything we asked for.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Aaron for anyone needing his services.

I would highly recommend Linda Kerns and I do regularly to friends and colleagues. I have used Linda's services on several occasions but most recently with help purchasing a house. Linda is extremely thorough and knowledgeable. She was very persistent about checking the footprint of the property during inspection and thank goodness as the deed of record was incorrect and needed to be amended. She kept everything else in check and is very responsive whatever the time of day.
It is obvious that Linda enjoys her work, but more importantly it is clear that she takes great pride in doing things to the very best of her ability. She demonstrates great integrity and is very much in control of any situation. I was a wreck after being surprised one evening by someone at my door serving me a petition to modify the custody arrangement my ex and I agreed to just a year prior. As a single father fighting to keep primary custody of my two children I knew the odds were stacked against me. But after doing a lot of research and a couple of interviews with other attorneys I found myself meeting with Melissa and I hired her immediately. I remember the day I was referred to Mrs.Gordon I was in a very dark space, 100% depressed, and ready to just give up. Mrs. Gordon listened to my concerns and situations. I had multiple child support cases that were very expensive causing me to constantly fall behind. Not to mention I suffered a major injury yet bills and child support continued to pile up. I came in to speak with Mrs. Gordon about a case of mistaken identity on a DNA test. She was extremely understanding and very empathetic about the whole situation. When it came time for court we spoke briefly then she spoke with the judge. When she came back to speak with she informed that I would have to take one more DNA test and she explained my situation to the judge. She assured me that this would be the only time I would have to take another one. Fast forward to the next court date and after the judge does roll call and spoke with the clerk she tells me everything has been dismissed and I'm free to go.

I was maliciously attacked by a room mate that knew ways in which to manipulate the boundaries of the law for his personal spite towards me. Having been referred to by a neighbor I sought out Mrs Gordon for legal help after this room mate filed a false order of protection against me. Upon meeting and reviewing my case, I had instant confidence in her ability. That confidence showed in the court room as in the middle of proceedings, the judge stopped the hearing and dismissed all allegations that had been placed on me calling all charges against me ridiculous.

I was going through an 'amicable' divorce with my husband and we agreed on how to split our assets. Being a paralegal, I was able to complete and file most of my own paperwork with the court. However, I needed the assistance of an attorney to draft a marital settlement agreement that would be acceptable to the courts and be in accordance with the law. I was referred to Nate by an attorney friend of mine. Nate and I met and I laid out the facts of my agreement with my husband. Nate accepted to work with me on the settlement agreement aspect of my divorce without asking to take over my entire divorce matter. Nate quickly grasped the issues at hand, and drafted a marital settlement agreement accordingly. He is very knowledgeable about all aspects of family law, including the laws governing retirement accounts and retirement funds which often become an issue in divorce matters. There were only minor changes to Nate's initial draft of the agreement and we were able to complete the process in a reasonable and timely manner. During the process, Nate was on vacation for some time, but despite being out of state, he would respond to my questions immediately and address any issues that came up during that time. The attorney I've used before was too busy and handed over my case to sejuoh. She is precise and on point so when I needed a lawyer again this year I had no hesitation when my case was again handed to her. I had a really bad situation come up involving my child and the spouse of their maternal aunt’s. It was an absolute emergency situation for them. I raised issues with their mother to try to come up with a game plan to keep our child safe only to have her and her entire family treat me as though this was a fabrication. It was obvious at that moment I needed a lawyer and I started making calls…one call actually to Hiba.
She gave me some advice over the phone and I hired her the next day. She moved very quickly, filed ex parte emergency change of custody and within the week my child was safe in my home.
We did proceed with a RFO for a custody change due to the fact my child’s mother and their family continued to protect the perpetrator, and after that hearing my child was in my primary physical custody.
This all happened very very quickly and I would have been at a complete loss without Hiba. She saved my child from a very bad situation and protected me along the way. She answered every question I had (even the ones that didn’t need to be addressed and stemmed from anxiety over the situation) and was kind courteous and a complete champion for us.
I would 100% hire her again and I cannot recommend her enough. Thank you Hiba!!

I called Ms Benny’s office for the first time on a Thursday morning. Tom, the man that answered the phone was thorough and professional, took my information, confirmed my case was something the office could handle, and gave me instructions to get documentation to the office for the attorney to review and call me back for the free consultation. Ms Benny called promptly when she said she would and had clearly familiarized herself with the details of my case to make the best use of the free consultation hour. During the consultation she helped explain to us how things worked in court, that we had not been aware of before, and offered solutions for my case that I wasn’t even aware were possible. We decided to hire her.
The hearing in my case was only six days away, but Me Benny and her staff got to work immediately. They were able to negotiate a settlement with opposing counsel that I believe best protected all parties involved. She and her staff are caring, very knowledgeable, and very efficient. While they are not the least expensive attorneys in the area, they are worth every penny. She made one of the worst times in my life vastly less stressful and helped me reach an outcome I didn’t think was even possible. I hired Hiba last year to represent me during my divorce and child custody battle.
To be honest, none of that was good, especially for a single dad in the state of California. That being said, Hiba did a great job at keeping me accountable and ensuring I did what I needed to do on my end, which would allow her to do what she needed to in order to best help me while encouraging me throughout this difficult process.
There was a lot of really good communication, And I know Hiba mitigated a lot of potential negatives from happening to me with just how aggressive and thorough her approach was.
I know I wasn’t the easiest client...there was a lot of pressure and stress that came along with the circumstances... but I think what separates Hiba from other attorneys, is the level of customer service, honesty and empathy that I saw from her while going through all of that.
