Matthew is a hardworking, diligent attorney who knows the law and has his clients best interest in mind. I hired a large reputable firm and Matthew was my 6th attorney during a 3 year litigation. Craig Byrnes is incredible. I found Craig after I sought legal representation after my employer presented me with a difficult situation. He was so responsive, knowledgeable, and clear in his approach to protect my interests. Craig is adept at filtering out ethical or emotional issues from legal issues, and does not waste time on futile matters. He is extremely efficient and does not sugarcoat anything. He is great at client management too, keeping me focused on the task at hand and talking sense into me when needed.
Craig was able to reach an amicable resolution with my employer to end the situation gracefully and rationally. I don't know if anyone has referred to their attorney as a knight in shining armor, but he is definitely that. I highly recommend him to anyone - you want him on your side.

I cannot explain the great help Craig was to me in my case. Mr. Byrnes served me twice. I first met him when searching for an employment lawyer because I wanted a contract if I was to leave my job to go help prospective employer with their business. I was leaving a highly paid job and wanted both sides to be clear as to what we agreed to. Once the contract was signed and I resigned my other job, my employer refused to pay me what was agreed to in the contract. Mr. Byrnes provided excellent advice throughout the whole mess, was strategic in his approach, and was far more knowledgeable that some of the lawyers the employer hired (employer went through about 3 lawyers before finally settling). Mr. Byrnes got me a big settlement. I cannot say enough positive things about Mr. Byrnes. His professionalism is outstanding. He prepared for the case so thoroughly that no matter what opposing lawyers might throw at us, he always responded with facts and law, so they stopped arguing with him. I wouldn't want to have to be on the other side in a case he was involved with. He always told me the truth, explained the law and how judges were ruling on various points, and he listened to my concerns with great sensitivity. Anyone who has an employment law issue can do no better than turning to Craig Byrnes. Ultimately, he stood strong for me and obtained a big settlement for me.

So far so good! I owe a big thank you to Brian here. My manager to make a long story short terminated my brother and suspended me for calling out some serious safety concerns in our work environment and said the reasons for the discipline were unrelated. And its been quite a challenge to find anyone that will at least hear my brother and I out, until I came across Brian. Not only was he willing to hear me out he also provided guidance on how to tread in these tricky waters. It's attorneys like this that give decent hard working people like us the support we need and the motivation necessary to fight back when companies think they can smile in our faces one day then send us packing the next. I hired Mr. Pappas for my wages and tips case against my former employer. I worked for the company for 10+ yrs. I had no idea that I was being paid incorrectly and unfairly until a coworker read a similar case in an article. I researched and called Mr. Pappas for legal advice. He was friendly, polite, and heard my case start to finish. He told me indeed I was being underpaid and that I'm owed all lost wages+tips going back up to 6 years (NY state law). At the end I was able to recover my wages, tips, plus another $10,000 in fines. SaraEllen Hutchinson is an excellent lawyer in consumer protection. I was trying to handle a problem myself with one of the credit reporting agencies. It was going on for 7 months, and not only was I getting nowhere, it was actually getting worse. I was scared, angry, and completely locked out of my credit report, while ID thieves were in. I called SaraEllen's office on a Friday at 5:00 pm. She emailed me the same evening, and by Monday morning she was handling my case. She has a strong working relationship with other lawyers, and within 2 months she had everything corrected. She represented me and handled everything with professionalism, and her knowledge of the credit protection laws. Matt quickly and efficiently advised me in a time-sensitive manner on a non-compete and its interplay with a severance agreement as I was about to transition to a new company. He explained the different parts and how they affected my options going forward, and offered several paths that I could pursue. I was senior enough in the company to have restrictions on where I could go as there were questions about how the two companies competed in the same general segment. His letters were organized and easy to understand, handled the facts of the matter, advised on New York law, and most importantly were very practical in how to engage both employers. I had reached out to Jean to discuss/review a separation agreement that I received from my employer. She was very accessible - I was able to speak with her directly on my first outreach (vs. many other firms who required a detailed questionnaire or discussion with a paralegal). When a person is wrongly terminated it takes away more than your job. You loose the essence of who you are, your confidence, your trust in people, how you interact with the outside world. You feel ashamed. But, Jean was able to change all that for me and my termination turned out to be a blessing. Jean gave me hope from the very first conversation. She and Katherine won my case and the money was great but what they really did was continually make me know that the termination wasn’t my fault. They believed in me. Mr. Reyes is an outstanding attorney. Last year my mom was involved in a car accident which caused her to be hospitalized for 5 days. Unfortunately, our insurance decided to blame my mom for the accident before getting the police report. After 15 years of having this major insurance carrier, we didn't feel as we were in "safe hands". It was a nightmare. Thankfully, we contacted Mr. Reyes and he started his own investigation. He was very persistent and researched everything about the accident to better understand the situation. Somehow, Mr. Reyes got a hold of a couple of witnesses that confirmed that it was the other individual's fault. A couple of weeks later, the police report corroborated that it was the other driver's fault. Mr. Reyes' dedication paid off. After eight months, we closed the case and the other driver's insurance has agreed to pay the maximum allowed for this case. I recently met with Mr. Hannah to discuss my EEOC discrimination case, against a governmental agency. I explained to Mr. Hannah that we needed to file the case within 90 days, but he explained to me that if he doesn’t meet the deadline we have a 4 year statue of limitation to file. Mr, Hannah was very knowledgeable, professional, organized, and gave me his undivided attention. After our consultation, I hired Mr. Hannah to represent me. Mr. Hannah explained the process and kept me abreast throughout the case. Approximately two weeks later, Mr. Hannah sent me an email informing me of the steps and that he needed to speak to me for clarification before he generate the complaint. Mr. Hannah stated he would generate the complaint and send it to me for his review. After our second meeting, Mr. Hannah said that he reviewed most of my case file and had a few questions. I answered his questions and he stated he would work in my civil complaint and email me a draft to review. During that conversation, I asked Mr. Hannah could he make sure that we meet the deadline. Mr. Hannah also ordered my case file from the EEOC and said he’ll work on my complaint. Three days before the deadline, Mr, Hannah sent me an email stating that he needed to ask more questions about my case before he generate my civil complaint. Mr. Hannah explained that he will not be able to meet my deadline on September 5th, 2021. Mr. Hannah explained that he will be going out of town on vacation and won’t be back until September 17,2021. Mr. Hannah and I spoke, I believe on September 2, 2021 regarding my case. Mr. Hannah stated that after careful review of my case, he believe that I needed a civil rights attorney and workers Comp attorney and he didn’t feel comfortable moving forward on my case. He offered to assist me with finding an attorney. Initially, I declined because I was going back to California, but I decided to stay in Florida, I sent Mr. Hannah an email requesting his assistance in finding an attorney. Although I was disappointed that he didn’t represent me, I appreciate the effort made in assisting me. Mr. Hannah refunded my retainer fees, and files. He also sent a nice letter breaking down his cost, statue of limitations date, and explaining what type of lawyer that I needed.
I really wished that Mr. Hannah would have pursued my case and hired a Civil rights attorney to assist him. He has proven himself to be trust worthy and that’s my biggest fear I hiring the right attorney. I have confident that he would have prevailed i my case, but I certainly respect his decision. Although it didn’t work out, I would still recommend his services.
