1) Out of the dozen or so I called, he was the ONLY one who spent time listening and breaking down the scenario before even discussing a fee. He actually cared. He wanted to fight this unjust scenario.
2) My case was civil, but he approached it like it was criminal, and knew all the appropriate avenues to take.
3) He put on a clinic. I left happy and won.
4) He answered all my texts and calls in appropriate time. I'm sure I wasn't the easiest client, but he never once made me feel bad for my concern over my case.
5) I hope to never have to hire him again but if I had to, I would without question. 100%

This was the first time in my life I have ever found myself on the wrong side of the law. Throughout this process he was knowledgeable and aided me in navigating my way through the darkest period of my life. My case was complicated, muddled in falsities and obfuscation. Chris was able to untangle it all and put forth a comprehensive approach that anticipated everything. At the time I did not fully appreciate the amount of time, effort and patience he had. I also learned after being incarcerated how broken the legal/corrections systems in Orange County truly are. I hesitate to elaborate more, suffice it to say he exceeded expectations and could have quit on me several times throughout the process. Do you want someone who shoots straight (don’t BS this guy EVER, he is one of the most intelligent people I know). When I was younger, I received a Minor in Possession of Alcohol. Sandy was able to get the charge dismissed. As a young adult, I wrongfully received a speeding ticket. I recorded the entire encounter with the police and was able to provide Sandy with the video along with other notes. Once again, she was able to get the charge dismissed. She spoke with the police officer before the case was brought to trial and convinced the officer to drop the charge. Sandy is very knowledgeable and an expert criminal attorney. I appreciated Sandy’s honesty regarding the unique situation of each case and her straightforward communication throughout the process. I highly recommend her if you find yourself in a situation that requires her services.

I wanted to take the time to say that I highly recommend Sandy Rabadi if you're in need of an attorney. I had been charged with a DUI back in February in Burbank and Sandy was successful in not only working the plea down to a wet reckless, but also in getting the fines and accompanying alcohol classes waived as well. I found Sandy to be extremely personable and professional throughout the entire process. I also appreciated her straightforwardness as she provided me with realistic expectations based on the facts of my case.

I was facing a driving while suspended charges and Cristian came on top by getting my charges dismissed. Prior to the case Cristian was very trustworthy and honest with being very informative. Along the way I came into several personal problems and became difficult to contact Cristian and i almost ended up loosing his representation due to not a paying off my remaining balance. I was in a pinch. I mean I was in a lot of trouble. I went to talk to the DA without a lawyer and it was horrible. I hired Chris and he worked miracles, but what makes him so good is, that I thought I had a great deal and was happy as could be. It wasn’t good enough for him though. Bill is an excellent attorney who helped me through a high-conflict divorce with his strategic and calm approach. He is very patient and thinks before he reacts. He never leaves you guessing and openly shares information he receives from the other attorney's involved. One thing that I really liked about Bill is that throughout my entire case I always understood what the worst case scenario could be. Bill was a great help and resource after my divorce as my ex-wife wanted to fight me on everything for our son. He takes his time to make sure he has every resource available for him to review and makes sure he helps make the right choice in your case.
This case was a long one and Bill kept me update on any communications that came from the other attorney. We always worked through what I was requesting and making sure every detail was covered before it was filed with the court. My ex-wife used two attorney's to help fight against what I was wanting for our son. Bill is very reasonable when he has open communication with other attorneys.
In the end... Bill being very calm and patient helped grant what I was trying to get for my son
I would recommend Bill any time and would use him again in the future if I ever need it. At least sit down with him so he understands what your direction is.

Our family hired Grant to save the bacon of our loved one who (sometimes) makes bad decisions. Grant made himself available to us immediately with open and constant communication. No question was left unanswered, he guided us through the entire process, informed us of options and gave professional opinion on how to proceed in a very complex and difficult situation.
Most criminal defense attorney's don't offer such a caring and interested attitude. Grant is the exception to the norm, he cares about the family's concerns and needs, as well as his client. He achieved a result that absolutely served our loved one well. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

My child is OUT OF JAIL because of this lawyer. He had been arrested and held with No Bond and the charges were scary and involved a gun and a robbery and the prosecutor was talking about sentences of 25 years in prison. The other lawyer we hired barely even visited our son and said the jail was far away. We lost a lot of money on him.
When we hired Mr. Dwyer, he visited Carlos the same day. He explained to us the process and made it clear to understand. He found the problems in the case and before we knew it the prosecutor was announcing a dismissal and are son is HOME.

Attorney Phillips helped my family obtain a Harassment Prevention Order (HPO) against a neighbor who had broken into our home, stolen thousands of dollars worth of jewelry from us and sold it in a pawn store. The neighbor then proceeded to harass my wife and daughter (8) when he was charged by the police.
Attorney Phillips was very knowledgeable, and was able to help guide the court on the procedure and how the statute was written (as HPO's were relatively new at the time). Attorney Phillips returned to court with us each year to help us renew our order, and eventually was able to help us obtain a permanent order against the defendant.
Without Attorney Phillips I feel as though my family would have fallen through the cracks of the system, and we would not have received the protection that we needed.

I am an activist for the poorest, least represented people in society and I have known Nancy since she was a public defender. She is a brilliant tactical attorney at trial and she is very well received when it comes to negotiating positive outcomes with district Attorneys. Nancy has a compassion and empathy that really tunes her in to the clients personality and she very quickly grasps the critical dynamics of relationships and circumstances of a case and she sorts out the truth and presents it to the court in persuasive terms. not everyone is innocent, and Nancy is very compassionate and she negotiates outcomes that are fair and positive for the client and the court. Nancy keeps people out of jail and minimizes their time in the system and the system can be very unfair without Nancy to guide you through it. She has also gone to bat for people on probation to be allowed to use medical marijuana with a prescription, particularly people with HIV who only get relief from marijuana use and nothing else. It took a lot of guts for her to advocate for changes to probation in Boulder County to allow people with medical conditions to use medical marijuana, it was a very edgy subject at the time. Nancy has worked on important cases and important issues without regard for her personal compensation many many times. I recently learned when I sent her a new client that she is finally a partner in a firm and I want to say it is about time Nancy got PAID! I have extensive experience with very tough people in the justice system in Colorado, I know the group of top attorneys in Colorado very well, and Nancy is absolutely the best. I interviewed 4 attorneys to handle my case. The first 3 attorneys spent 15-20 minutes with me on the phone explaining what I was facing and how they would defend me; each then invited me to their office for a 30 minute meeting, presumably at which point they would ask for my signature for their representation.
Nancy spent an hour with me on the phone without any charge or expectation that she would represent me. She explained every detail of what I was facing and what was the most likely successful outcome. She was far more detailed than the others. She allowed me to ask a lot of questions. And when we were done with the phone consultation, she said, "I know you're talking with other attorneys. If you want to proceed with me, let me know." Choosing Nancy was easy because she gave me her best without expecting anything in return.
As Nancy represented me throughout the process, I got the same treatment. She communicates in a very timely manner. She understands how to navigate the system to her clients' benefit. Knowing that a court-ordered treatment program would be part of the judge's decision, she got me going in that early. She took a personal interest in my family situation. Everything played out as she said it would, and I received the best outcome that was possible given the situation.
I am very thankful that I found Nancy to represent me in this unwanted situation. I would recommend her to anyone facing similar.

My name is Jacques Delacroix. I am a retired professor of Management. I live in Santa Cruz, California with my wife, Krishna Delacroix who is an artist. Recently, we went to John D. Laughton, A Professional Law Corporation in Monterey, California for help to deal with the complex and forbidding business of making end-of-life legal preparations. We dealt entirely with Brandie Luis Esq. ,and with the pleasant office staff person (whose name escapes me right now because, well, I am writing a will am I not?)
Ms. Luis deployed incomparable patience and perseverance in dealing with our passivity (and perhaps, with our unconscious resistance). She guided us skillfully through the meanders of legal dispositions we did not even suspected to exist. As a result of her quiet efforts, my wife and I now think that we have done all the right things with respect to our offspring and with respect to the world at large. We believe that thanks to Ms Luis, our passing will not trouble much the peace of those we leave behind. We even think we will leave behind us a slight wake of benevolence. Those are satisfying and probably rare feelings.
Ms Luis ' disposition is so conscientious and so kind that once, she ever made a house call to us! (I hasten to add that this may not be a service the firm offer routinely and to all is customers. We may well have received favored treatment, on his occasion though I am sure we did nothing to deserve it.)
Obviously neither I nor my wife have any previous experience with this kind of endeavor. However, we suspect we stand more on the side of clients from Hell than on the side of angelic clients. Ms. Luis never lost her cool with us and she continued to direct us with a firm but friendly hand until the task was completed. If loving lawyers were not a human impossibility, we would say we have come to love Ms Luis!We could not recommend her personally and the John D. Laughton firm more highly.

Brandie Luis, was able to help our family through some difficult legal challenges we had recovering funds that other firms had told us couldn't be done without going through a long and expensive legal process.

I always thought that people who had issues with the police must have done something to deserve it. I learned the hard way that its not true. I experienced ongoing harassment from the Waltham police who seemed to take advantage of my complicated family situation. I am an African American and a single parent who actually believed that I have rights. Silly me. The police used every opportunity to attempt to get me into trouble repeatedly all in retaliation for my filing internal affairs complaints due to their misconduct. I was fighting a losing battle. This happened in front of my family and friends. They all just said move.
Erin Opperman walked into my life and gave me hope. In my opinion My prior attorney was afraid of the District Attorneys office. The charges were bogus.
Not Erin. After Erin got involved no additional bogus charges were ever filed. She had to fight for several years, not months, years , before the case was finally dismissed.
This included Erin getting my case transferred to another venue. The DA was super angry with her for fighting so hard for my freedom. She had to file motion after motion after motion. She recognized what I was up against and stood by me. Erin refused to let them rail road me. Anyone that is looking for a lawyer who will fight for you as if you were her own family, then she is the person that you want representing you. I was a difficult client, I always calling her crying asking why me? She listened patiently and calmed me down. I thank God that she did not withdraw from my case when things got worse. I would have been convicted of a crime that I did not commit. I thank God that I met Erin, she is lawyer that gives 100% to her client. I would hire her again if I am ever in need of a excellent lawyer who will be committed to my case.

I was accused of sexual assault after becoming involved with a prostitute. I was accused of horrible crimes. Erin was so nice and made me feel comfortable even though we had to discuss these awkward and horrible charges. She knew that this person was lying to protect herself. I had an extremely high conflict divorce. During the nearly year long nightmare, Barre went above and beyond in handling my case. While my ex was largely able to isolate my young children from me for the entire divorce, in the end my young children got a better parenting plan than was recommended by the PRE and it will ramp up to 50/50. I only wish my ex had hired a competent lawyer, as her lawyer made things far worse than just the malicious behavior of my ex did.

I have a very high-conflict post-divorce situation involving my vulnerable children. My family and I call Barre, "our Super hero." Barre is a human being first with a heart of gold for children and families. As I was a wreck, Barre "cut to the chase" and helped me navigate a very emotionally difficult situation. I have worked with several different attorneys over the last 10 years dealing with parenting and post-divorce issues. Barre has been the best by far. I never had a need for an attorney before, but David Greenberg came highly recommended so I put my life in his hands. He was very forthcoming with information and what to expect. Always keeping me in the loop and making sure I understood what the proceedings were. I found myself in a situation where I needed an attorney and actually called David Greenberg for a recommendation because I thought my litigation was a different field than I knew he practiced. He informed me of all of his qualifications and I choose to work with him. I highly recommend David Greenberg and the quality people in his office. He (and his partner) went through REAMS of documentation keeping clear the detailed information that was useful to my case. David was readily available to answer any questions I had in a process I knew nothing about as clear communication was important to both of us. He and his team were willing to go farther than I was willing to go (trial) and he heard my goals and kept them at the forefront. He is ethical. His fees are reasonable and worthwhile. The staff and attorneys are amazing. The office is located directly across the street from the old court house. I believe both Trent Loftin and Jerry Loftin are former prosecutors. I had some concerns about my car insurance company after I filed a claim. I found Mr. Battisti's info online and contacted him. He was very friendly, listened to me and gave me advice. Consultation was free but it felt like I paid because he did not rush me off the phone like other lawyers I contacted. I ended up not needing a lawyer but if I did it would definitely be him. I 100% reccommend him.

After I was arrested I searched for and spoke to numerous lawyers and felt no confidence. I began looking through the"Top 22 Lawyers" list and found the Law Offices of Daniel and Hudson. I spoke with the paralegal Brittany and she had a lawyer call me back within minutes. After speaking with the lawyer, Mr. Halstead (a military Veteran) I was more at ease and knew this was the right lawyer. The up front cost wasn't ridiculous and he was already making a plan on how to move forward. We spoke often at his office answering any questions I had and he also called me to let me know what was going on with my case. My charges were very serious and I was originally looking at a possible 25 years, but with his advice to hold out for a better outcome, it was 8 yrs, then it was just probation then it was dismissed. I owe it to Mr. Halstead for his knowledge of the criminal justice system and knowing when and how to present his case. I would "Highly" recommend Mr. Halstead in any criminal case because of his professionalism and knowledge base. Thanks to Mr.Halsted and his team (Brittany and Veronica) I got my life back!

I was in a big messy divorce and allegations arose of misconduct with my child ( to put it mildly ). After putting money down with a criminal lawyer that I will not name, I saw the beginning of a scary path because the lawyer lacked sufficient experience in these type of cases. So I looked up the Daniel and Hudson law firm and decided to present my case.
I was informed of what to expect and what not to expect. But throughout the conversations I’ve seen the experienced lawyers treating this case with diligence. What I experienced in the court room when my lawyer questioned the states negligence in facts and lack of officers experience in sensitive information was overwhelming to witness; since I would have never known what to expect in this type of case. My confidence with my lawyer Woody was further uplifted when the intern lawyer that I met during the trial proceedings told me that a lot of interns come to see him defend his clients. I poured many hours and eyestrain, I went without sleep and ate a poor diet, I did everything I could to create a business. After some hard times I am doing better than I every expected. With that money I took care of my family and raised three beautiful children and took care of my wife. Things changed and in a blink of an eye the change in my relationship put everything I worked for in jeopardy.
Rather than hash the details let me just say that he was recommended to me along with another attorney who I went to first. I went against my gut going with someone else at first because of mutual friends. (I was also conerned that he worked with a lot of women and might not be sympathetic, which was way off base.
After hearing from the other attorney that I should be ready to liquidate, lose the overwhelming majority of my money and my time with my youngest I went back to "Mr. Mo" I call him, (I'm calling him Pashan now).
He didn't sugar coat it either but he was ready to fight and to reason and do whatever was necessary so that I didn't have to entirely start over at this point of my life. It was ugly at times and he stepped up, and definitely switched it around to being on the offensive and planned for contingencies. In the end he forced my ex and her lawyer to be reasonable. He also helped me with a good deal of business and trust work and the sale and move I made. I hope I am conveying what a good lawyer and friend he has been. He wasn't trying to hurt people or stick it to anyone or keep things going just to do it, he was just trying to defend my interest in and get everyone to see how they could reasonably make the best of an unfortunate period we had to get through to be happy and move forward.
