We recently watched a case where Prosecuting Attorney, Allen Telgenhof presented the evidence in such a way that there was no doubt of guilt. His expertise in cross examination and questioning was professional and gave the victims confidence they had excellent representation. Layering every witness and recorded police interviews, the jury could clearly see truth. An excellent attorney.

Allen Telgenhof is a smart, responsible, ethical, professional who works hard to get the job done. I very highly recommend his services.
Because I live near Chicago, finding a lawyer in Charlevoix, Michigan to handle my long distance divorce case, initially, seemed like a daunting task. Allen Telgenhof was recommended as “a really good guy who you will be able to trust”. After phone interviewing several lawyers¸ and then making the trip north to choose one, I retained Allen.
Both on the phone, and in person, he was very easy to talk to and came across as smart, hardworking, trustworthy, and understanding. During my divorce, he accurately assessed my needs and worked diligently to make sure my best interests were met. He was kind and understanding, and kept me well informed during the entire process. He was patient in addressing my concerns and in answering my many questions pertaining to issues that were difficult for me to understand. At one point, he advised me to not go in a certain direction, as it would not have been cost effective for me, even though he could have made more money. During mediation, he had a plan and worked aggressively to successfully secure my best interest .
In retrospect, I believe it was Divine Providence that led me to Allen Telgenhof. At the time, I was absolutely terrified and didn’t have a clue as to how to proceed. Because of his handling of my case, I am finally able to move forward with security and peace of mind. And, for most in the throes of divorce, security and peace of mind feel forever gone. Allen Telgenhof restored that for me. I am truly grateful.

I've heard nothing but nightmare stories about divorce, process, with children, etc.. I am happy to say that with Denise's help I think I have the record for the fastest and cheapest divorce in the state of Florida. I'd like to add that we did the entire process over skype because I was/am living overseas and unable to make frequent trips back to FL. I never even met Denise except over skype. Entire process took less than 3 months and under $5K, and our divorce included 2 children and 2 homes in 2 different countries. Denise was absolutely the best no doubt about it! Thank You!

Don't usually post reviews, but George is an exception. I had a mostly amicable divorce situation, and wanted to keep legal costs down by filing my own paperwork. I had an initial consultation with George where he listened to my story and headed me in the right legal/paperwork direction. I did most of my own filings, but the final paperwork is quite mysterious and tricky. Not wanting to drag things out by filing something incorrectly, I again scheduled time with George to help make sure I had the correct forms and had them filled out correctly.....I did not. With about 35 minutes of his time - and he only charged me for this amount of time, not an entire hour as some lawyers do - I had everything ready for final filing.
I definitely recommend George to help you handle your divorce - no matter how you end up dealing with things. He is very calming, understanding, honest, and extremely helpful.....and a very nice man!

I hired Bill after firing a top divorce attorney who is now a state rep.
He doesn't have a big law firm behind him, nor a fancy downtown Boston office, but he was a pit bull from day 1. He went the extra yard by hiring a software consultant to check my PC for viruses and spyware left by my ex. He dotted every i and crossed every t.
Even after our court appearance in front of one of the toughest divorce judges in Concord (MA) district court, he advised me the best when my own judgement was foggy. During the entire divorce process, I always felt he had my back. Even after the divorce was final and my ex came after me again, Bill was there for me. I can't imagine going through the process with anyone else.

I am a current client of Meri's. We needed help in attempting to obtain custody of our grandson who had lived with us most of his life. While we were not successful in obtaining custody, because of Meri's expertise we are written into the parenting plan and are able to have routine and regular contact with him, that would not have been possible without Meri's help. Phil Marr provided me with excellent help and advice during what was a very difficult divorce case. As a family law attorney, I have used Ms. Chernoff many times as a mediator. I highly recommend her as a family law mediator. She is prompt, knowledgeable of the law and effective. Family law matters are always contentious and no one is happy but as a professional I see her working hard to settle difficult matters. Take the reviews written by clients in the context of people going through difficult times and expecting unrealistic results with a grain of salt. They don't want to hear opinions that differ from their mind set.

She has provided me with excellent legal services and advice, is professional, experienced and kind, and has given me the strength to get through what has turned out to be the most challenging time of my life. My personal situation has been complicated by many factors including divorce, a difficult custody battle, my older daughter's subsequent mental health issues, drug addiction and attempts to end her life, and my younger daughter's emotional distress from all the turmoil.
