I was apprehended during a public gathering, disoriented and extremely unprepared for jail, my family hired Mr. Rudolph as my attorney. Court day came, I met him for the first time. His presence was a huge relief. We had a short convo about my info and asked me what did I want? I simply told him a burger, he promised me he'd get me a burger by that night. 3 hours later, got me through the judge and got me released on my way to my burger. This may seem silly, but he is one of the few attorneys that will actually treat you like a fellow human being and not as a client or defendant.

Bryndis represented me on two separate landlord/tenant cases. In both cases, Bryndis did everything in her power to arbitrate on my behalf and only one case actually went to court. Bryndis is an excellent communicator and she listens to her clients and represents people the way they want to be represented, not vice versa. She also is very realistic and explains all possible outcomes so her clients don't count eggs before they've hatched. When she takes you on as a client she is wonderful about making herself available day and night and when she is unable to answer her phone or texts she responds as soon as she is available. Bryndis is a great attorney for the people.

My friend and I hired Bryndis back in December of 2011 after we moved into a building and unit that was completely infested with bedbugs. Bryndis went above and beyond her duties and not only guided me in directions that I could go myself to protect myself ( visits to the tenants union, department of health, building inspector) but she also referred us to a small claims expert. The process was unrelenting, arduous, and at many times we felt like our case may never be resolved but Bryndis kept us positive, informed us of the necessary steps, and she displayed sincerity for us and what we were going through. The Lincoln Club of Orange County is an organization of business men and women that has supported conservative candidates for federal, state, and local office since 1962. Its ability to engage in political activities, including running its own campaigns on behalf of candidates, campaigns that are often called independent expenditures, has been critical to its success for almost 50 years.
In the late 1990s, the City of Irvine and other cities throughout the State of California began restricting the public’s rights to conduct and contribute to independent expenditures, often by limiting the amount of money that could be contributed to, or spent by, an independent expenditure campaign. From the beginning, the Lincoln Club saw these restrictions for what they were: a direct assault on everyone’s First Amendment free speech rights.
The Lincoln Club determined to fight the erosion of our free speech rights by challenging the City of Irvine in federal court, and we interviewed several leading law firms and legal scholars in search of an attorney who would be committed to turning back these intrusions on our fundamental rights. After a long process, we retained Dr. John Eastman and his Claremont Center for Constitutional Jurisprudence. While we did not doubt we should prevail, anyone facing long and difficult litigation knows no outcome is certain. It was Dr. Eastman who won the case.
Dr. Eastman filed our suit against the city in 1999. When we lost the summary judgment motion in the summer of 2000, he immediately appealed to the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, so often a hostile forum for conservative causes. After meticulously briefing and urgently arguing the appeal in 2001, a three-judge panel of the Ninth Circuit decided in favor of Dr. Eastman’s position and overturned in the trial court decision.
The victory that John Eastman secured for the Lincoln Club was complete. Ultimately, Dr. Eastman was able to secure a court order requiring the city to pay the Lincoln Club’s legal fees. More importantly, Dr. Eastman’s success caused cities and counties all over the State of California and beyond to rescind their restrictions on independent expenditures, setting a critical precedent and securing far broader free-speech rights for every American.
Dr. Eastman crafted the master strategy and all tactics at trial and through appeal. It was his energy, focus, and skill that guided our suit through and won a critical battle against government burdens on speech rights. For this, and so many other reasons, the Lincoln Club continues to hold Dr. Eastman in the highest esteem.

Rick has been representing us for over 2 years now. Are case is very complicated and there are appeals. He has never made my family or I feel bad about asking questions and never appeared annoyed. I love how he personally cares. Our family has not felt like a pay check to Rick. The compassion and caring he and his associates has been stellar. Ms. Shishkin helped me navigate an employment law issue. She was professional, responsive and helpful. She was able to communicate the law and likely responses from my employer in a way that was very helpful. When I first came to Alexis, I was heartbroken and discouraged by the way the LAUSD was treating our child. We had tried another attorney who had taken our money and not helped. I was a bit traumatized by the process when we found Alexis but - WOW, what a difference the right lawyer makes. I cannot say enough great things about Attorney Pate. He was not only courteous and professional to me but very intelligent in dealing with employer. He not only demonstrated skill and professionalism while handling my case but showed extraordinary compassion during very difficult and stressful times.

In September, 2016, I contacted Atty. Pate regarding an incident I considered to be age discrimination in my workplace. In a no charge consultation, he advised me to contact my human resources department regarding the incident. I did so. My company investigated the incident, and it seemed to have been resolved. Six months later, my company took what I believed to be retaliatory action for my initial complaint. I resigned from my employment under duress two months later. I again contacted Atty. Pate who believed I had a discrimination and retaliation case against my employer. He advised me every step of the way while negotiating with the employer. Atty. Pate was helpful when I tried to collect unemployment and the employer appealed twice. My unemployment claim was successful. When the employer would not agree to a settlement, Atty. Pate filed a complaint with the EEOC, and ultimately a suit against the employer. Nine months after my second contact with Atty. Pate, the case was settled to my satisfaction. Atty. Pate kept me informed through the entire process. He was patient and empathetic and worked hard on my behalf against a very difficult employer. I am grateful for his efforts and guidance.

It’s hard to find a lawyer that is personable, very easy to talk to and at the end of the day know their stuff. Patanisha Davis-Jenkins fits that criteria. Dan Shapiro saved my life. If it weren't for Dan Shapiro I could be in a world of hurt right now. Although I was factually innocent, serious charges had been brought against me by someone seeking to use the legal system to retaliate. And even though I did not commit the crime that I was accused of, my defense wasn't perfect. Certain factors gave the appearence that the crime could have possibly happened. Enough so, that the District Attorney's Office was pursuing a conviction. The Police officer who arrested me had decided that I was guilty or deserved punishment even though I was innocent and and made the scenario worse by lying in his police report to make me look worse.
I was truly crushed as a human being, my family and loved ones were as well, very distraught over the entire event. My life had never been worse than it was at this point.
All of this is over now thanks to Dan. The case has been completely dismissed.
The difference between Dan and other lawyers from what I can tell is this.
1) Dan really cares about his clients. Dan really cares about other people and genuinely wants to help. When Dan decides that he will accept you as a client, he does everything he can to ensure the best result he can get for your case.
2) Dan gets to the root of the Law, stripping away the confusions and complexities which other lawyers bog themselves down in.
3) Dan has a good attitude, is intelligent and is very professional. Judges, Prosecuting Attorney's and Jury's cant help but to like Dan and give credence to what he has to say in the Courtroom. Which might make a difference in how they view your case.
To summarize;
If you want a Lawyer who will really care about your case and do everything he can within the Law to get you the best outcome possible, Dan is the man.

Robyn and I graduated high school together, many years ago, which is how I know her. Robyn has always been polite and well-spoken. Recently I found myself in a situation with a former employer that was a surprise to me. During this time in my life, my livelihood was turned upside down. Even though I knew Robyn prior to my case, I was not aware that Robyn was an employment attorney, until she reached out to me regarding another case that my name was brought up in, that she was working on. On that same phone call I questioned Robyn about the type of law that she practiced. Robyn informed me that she was an employment attorney who dealt with employees that were wrongfully terminated, discrimination, retaliation, etc.. This information is what I needed to hear at that time. I asked Robyn if she had time to speak with me briefly and to look over some paperwork that I had received a few weeks ago regarding my wrongful termination with my former employer. Robyn agreed. Robyn took notes as she listened to my concerns and advised me that she would look over everything including my paperwork and would return my call to discuss the matter further. While I waited to hear back from Robyn I started to Google her to find out information regarding her and her prior cases. I was in awe with the information that I found out but not really surprised due to the person I knew in high school. After researching Robyn for several hours I knew that she was the attorney that I wanted to handle my case if she deemed that I had one. Robyn returned my call a few days later and agreed to handle my case. From that point on Robyn has been very thorough with me, upfront about all of my options, and has worked tireless hours on my case as well as keeping me informed. Mr. Lodge worked on behalf of our business on two different cases. The first case involved an ongoing dispute we have had with another business. Mr. Lodge first negotiated with the owners of the other business and then set up some mediation sessions. After only two sessions, and some rather complex discussions of possible resolutions, Mr. Lodge put together a comprehensive solution, which essentially ended our years-long dispute.
The other case involved a court action that Mr. Lodge filed and argued in court. I was impressed with both the pleadings and the arguing in court. Before a trial, Mr. Lodge reached a settlement which I felt was excellent. I would recommend Mr. Lodge and his assistants to anybody who needs an attorney or mediator.

An unexpected twist happened in my custody case causing my final trial to be rescheduled and my attorney at the time asked for a new retainer for the new trial date despite that I already paid for the initial trial, which didn’t happen. I couldn’t afford it abut paid it partially. Then he requested even more which left me without an attorney.
I was in an extremely strong position in my custody case but going it at without an attorney would have been catastrophic.
Brian was the third family law lawyer Id hired and will be the last. Not only is he knowledgeable, accessible and affordable but he’s practical and ethical.
A lawyer is a businessman, a person who wants to maximize their earnings.
Brian isn’t a businessman transacting with a client, he’s an advocate for his clients. You will not be billed excessively. Your strategy will be logical and practical and false promises will not be made. He’s not the attorney who’s going to pursue unrealistic outcomes to maximize his billable hours. My attorney prior to Brian was ethical but unaffordable to me.
I promise you my case is more complex and contested than most cases and the amount I’ve paid Brian to date is a tenth of what I’ve spent with other attorneys .
Brian saved me at a time of extreme desperation, if you have custody challenges and have limited funds Brian should be your go to family law attorney. Do not go at it pro-se.
