Last summer I had to find a land title litigation attorney to represent our family in a dispute over ownership of land our family has had since the 1800’s. A year ago, my divorce was final from my husband of 7 years. The divorce was his choice but for certain reasons, I ended up being represented and he did not have a lawyer. This was a horrible time in my life, something I never expected to happen. I was hurt, and sad that my marriage was ending. Even though this was a terrible time, Jason made the divorce proceedings painless. My wife and I asked Mr. Johnson to update our trust in 2007 as a result of our move from Missouri to Texas. Since that time he has worked with us to insure our trust is up to date, funded and complies with any changes in the law. I cannot offer enough praise for the law firm of Richard P. Johnson and his associate Marcie Johnson. Upon the passing of my uncle in Dallas Texas, I had to travel from Columbus Ohio to the Dallas area and deal with a multitude of issues with regards to my uncle's estate. Everything from a ranch 65 miles northeast of Dallas in Commerce Texas, to his home in Dallas where I had to get a bio hazard team involved because of the conditions I encountered upon arriving in Dallas after learning that my uncle had passed. As if that weren't stressful enough, l had to make funeral arrangements, deal with stacks and stacks of paperwork, and unfamiliarity with the Dallas area. Richard and Marcie Johnson were extraordinary in terms of their assistance and professionalism in helping me with ALL my issues. They took charge from day one and offered me advice on everything from legal issues to assistance with reputable accounting firms, real estate persons, estate sale individuals, etc. Three months have passed since my uncle's passing and they have been with me all the way. when ever I had a question, concern or just needed a shoulder to cry on, they were there. My uncle's estate was extensive, but these folks were up to the challenge. After all is said and done, I consider them more than my attorney's, I consider them good friends, 'family'. In conclusion, I am old enough, 65, to remember when customer service used to mean something in this country. When companies cared about the needs and concerns and satisfaction of their customers. After a death, the last thing you want to do is worry about someone liquidating your fathers assets. This is what my sisters and I had to face a week after burying our dad. Due to him not having a will things where really complicated and his wife tried to take advantage of the situation. A family friend referred us to Bill and he has been a breath of fresh air throughout this entire process. Her attorney has been procrastinating the entire time and Bill has been on him like white on rice! Bill is very much to the point- no BS so if you want to be coddled then this one isn't for you. But, if you want the facts and someone that is going to give it to you straight while fighting for what's right then Bill is your guy. I highly recommend his team to anyone going through probate or a family settlement agreement. He's expensive but well worth the money I promise!

Kathleen Macaulay is a go getter. She does everything with enthusiasm and efficiency. Mrs. Macaulay has a great knowledge of the law which has helped lessen the stress during the different stages of processing my parent's estate. She was was able to stop the foreclosure on my parent's house and facilitate the return of the house to the full ownership of the family. She been involved with all aspects of processing and settling the estate, like helping getting tax returns completed for various tax years that my parents owed and helping to find a competent realtor to help sale my parent's house. Mrs. Macaulay is always there to help me and to answer questions. She is very reasonable with what she charges for her services. The previous law office was outrageous with what they charged for their services. I highly recommend Kathleen Macaulay.

Stephan Waltar is very knowledgeable and experienced in estate planning. He is the author of two books on the subject, both of which I read and found to be clearly written and very helpful. I felt that he wrote these books because he truly cared about people being well protected and informed.
He and his staff were easy to communicate with, any questions were answered fully and we received prompt responses to any emails.
We were provided with a 3" binder made personal for us that clearly organized all of our info and documents on our estate planning, medical directives, power of attorney, ect. A digital copy is kept securely as well.
We felt like it was money well spent to have our estate set up by a legal expert rather than a one size fits all computer program. it is complicated and it is essential that it be done properly. When we were at our bank to transfer our account, the manager had to call the legal department to walk her thru the process, as even for someone who works in the financial field it was complicated. One our side we had been provided by Mr. Waltar's office with all the correct legal documents and it was easy.
In the future as laws change it is also good to know that we have a legal expert to confer with who will keep us updated and our plans on track.

We hired Mr. Sawyer to assist with an estate gift that was left to our non-profit organization. Our organization is not located in Virginia so we had to seek counsel in another state. I'm a sinlge mother and my son has severe disabilites that limit everyday life for a young child. I recently started tto get back on my feet when the unthinkable could ever happen to anyone that have children with any disability. My landlord was evicting me and my family for any reason he could come up with because he didn't want my son to destroy his property. It took everything I had to get in the house so my son could have an enviroment that he could be safe in. I researched a couple of attorney's and I was so strtessed she was the thrid name on the list and I called. Kathleen was extremely personable and way beyond reproach. I knew when I spoke with her on the phone I found somone I that would take care of my situtation with the upmost trust. After I met with her she filed an answer and prepared me for the court hearing. She is amazing she knows the law very well and she fights for justice. If I ever need someone in my cornoer again she will be the first I call. She not only cared about the case she cared about me and my family. I am so very thankful that she took this case and my son and I still have a home. Jenna Brozik has been our attorney since 2015. She successfully represented us in two child support / post secondary cases and one case where the ex-wife refused to share family photos, claiming they were missing. We watched her stand up to three different lawyers in front of Judge Frasier and Judge Libey and she won every case! She's very confident and knows case law very well. Our last case, she had to respond to the apposing lawyer's last minute 20 page declaration received at 4pm the day before court hearing. She worked on it all evening and early morning, communicating with us and successfully submitting our declaration on-time. Her prices are very affordable! Jenna was recommended to us by a single mom who had difficulties with her ex-husband and child custody. She won that case and has a very good reputation in this area. Recently my aunt passed away leaving behind an estate that had property in two different states (WA and PA). At the time we felt overwhelmed not knowing where to start. After dealing with a previous attorney who left us disappointed and everything only partially taken care of regarding my father's estate I found Danielle. Danielle reassured me that she would take care of finalizing things to close the estate.
Danielle is absolutely professional and knowledgeable; she communicates all the details and provides updates quickly and thoroughly. She explained everything that was happening and answered all our questions very clearly. She went back and finished things the previous attorney left incomplete and guided us through the decisions we needed to make.
It took Danielle a few short months to get things finished out even during covid-19 when it had taken the other person well over 8 months to do half of what Danielle did. I'm very impressed with her level of commitment to get everything finalized and closed out in a timely fashion.

I contacted Mr. Hancock after his name was given to me by a good friend. I had asked her if she knew of attorney who would be able to help my senior mother prepare a Last Will and Testament, Power of Attorney, Financial and Medical Power of Attorney, and not charge her an amount that would cause a coronary. I also wanted someone that she would feel comfortable with, and Mr. Hancock was the perfect lawyer for her. He was not only very welcoming, he was very understanding that my mom has early on-set dementia, and was able to communicate with her on a level where she was able to explain what she wanted included her the will.
I am getting ready to have my own Will and PofA's done and will definitely be contacting Mr Franklin to prepare these for me.

I utilized Karl on two occasions. The first was to update my elderly Mother's will and the second was to update my will and create a Power of Attorney for both me and my Wife.
On both occasions (10 years apart) he provided great expertise along with appropriate questions to ensure he knew what we wanted to accomplish and we knew the ramifications of the requests we made.

My father passed away and I was chosen as the estate rep. My parents had used Karl before so I called him. It was a pretty difficult time for me and was very unsure of what to do. I live in Montgomery and called April for help will a will dispute. After talking to her briefly I was sure she would be an excellent choice. To my surprise when she found out the dispute was in Jefferson county she recommended another attorney who practiced in Jefferson county. She felt he would know the area judges better and be more suited for the job. I subsequently retained the attorney she recommended. She didn't make a dime and took the time and effort to help me.
