Robyn and I graduated high school together, many years ago, which is how I know her. Robyn has always been polite and well-spoken. Recently I found myself in a situation with a former employer that was a surprise to me. During this time in my life, my livelihood was turned upside down. Even though I knew Robyn prior to my case, I was not aware that Robyn was an employment attorney, until she reached out to me regarding another case that my name was brought up in, that she was working on. On that same phone call I questioned Robyn about the type of law that she practiced. Robyn informed me that she was an employment attorney who dealt with employees that were wrongfully terminated, discrimination, retaliation, etc.. This information is what I needed to hear at that time. I asked Robyn if she had time to speak with me briefly and to look over some paperwork that I had received a few weeks ago regarding my wrongful termination with my former employer. Robyn agreed. Robyn took notes as she listened to my concerns and advised me that she would look over everything including my paperwork and would return my call to discuss the matter further. While I waited to hear back from Robyn I started to Google her to find out information regarding her and her prior cases. I was in awe with the information that I found out but not really surprised due to the person I knew in high school. After researching Robyn for several hours I knew that she was the attorney that I wanted to handle my case if she deemed that I had one. Robyn returned my call a few days later and agreed to handle my case. From that point on Robyn has been very thorough with me, upfront about all of my options, and has worked tireless hours on my case as well as keeping me informed. Not only has Robyn been professional about handling my case, she has also been there to assist me through some dark times. I feel as if Robyn can sense when something is wrong and will call to check in on me. This has not been an easy journey but I could not have picked a better attorney to represent me during one of the worst times in my life. Robyn has also had my best interest at hand through all of this while standing firm with the other side. Robyn is the epitome of excellence when dealing with her clients. My case was a wrongful termination. I had a medical condition which required surgery. Two weeks after surgery my employer terminated me, even though the previous month my annual review was all positive and indicated everything was fine. To add additional injury I was over 60 years old yet not old enough to retire.
Like most everyone in the year long process for justice, I was under enormous emotional stress. Kaarin did not get wraped up in my emotions but stayed focused on the case.
It was clear Kaarin and Halunen knew the aplicable laws, it was assuring to watch Kaarin in depositions asking the right questions to get to the underlying issues in order to prove my case.
Kaarin showed her expreience and skills in the mediation process with the defendant and mediator.
The case has come to a favrable end for me and much of the stress I've had has been relieved by obtaining justice.

My name is Joseph M. Percoco and this is not another B.S. Review story. As a long term driver and valued employee of Fed Ex freight making over six figures a year who never once took a vacation in over 10 years and has earned yearly safety awards as a safe driver with zero accidents where I would have to drive 648 miles each day awoke one morning not able to return to work and was denied unemployment by my employer and was also denied workers compensation.
I can not go into detail as this is an ongoing case but I must tell you that I was turned down by other prominent law firms and was told that this case would be to hard to win and they were not interested because the amount of man hours that would have to be put in would be grater than the end result. I was injured in Nashville at a bar on Main Street. It was the middle of the afternoon and my jaw was fractured. Without going into detail, I will be having quite a bit of dental work in my future.

Mr. Mead worked with me solving a conflict with one of my previous employers. He immediately impressed me with his knowledge and willingness to listen to the various aspects of the case that I had currently open (I had already dealt with one lawyer who failed to appropriately address my needs). I found that he quickly suggested key options that allowed us to move forward to resolve the matter with my previous employer which had since been open for about nine months. After Mr. Mead took the case, we were able to start making progress in a matter of weeks!
I was also very impressed with his constant assurance to allow me to make the decisions based on his advice. I went to discuss an employment issue with Hans Nilge's firm. My employer had opted to not continue my contract. When I asked why I was told there was no reason. The company was based in another state where apparently you do not have to have a reason for termination when filing for unemployment. I had several follow up calls and emails asking for a reason but they insisted there was no reason. Each time I explained that I had to have a reason to file for unemployment in my state. Finally they said just to put down lack of work. When I filed for unemployment my claim was denied because the company had responded to the claim with a vague negative comment about me. I contested and immediately received my unemployment but was concerned the company may in the future say untrue negative things about me. Basically I wanted a letter sent to them demanding them to cease and desist from any potential negative comments against me. Han's firm listened to my story and suggested I open a class action against the employer because they had violated employment rules I didn't even know existed. I did not want to because I thought it would be stressful, but after listening I agreed. The processes was painless the company immediately offered to settle. I walked into Nilges Draher expecting to pay several hundred dollars to protect my professional reputation and I ended up with a very nice settlement! Nilges Draher even had my old company pay my legal fees! The team at Nilges Draher was very kind and responsive. I would highly recommend them.
