I came to use Ron’s services after my first lawyer royally screwed up the start of my divorce process. From the start, Ron fixed my prior lawyer’s mistakes and showed a genuine care and interest in my story and stakes. He is extremely professional and knows all aspects of divorce law, and promptly displayed such knowledge at every checkpoint of my divorce including our MESP, the back and forth with opposing council, and our mediation. He is always available for questions and was very thorough and transparent throughout the entire process. He fought tirelessly for me over 15 months to see my divorce finalized uncontested. I have been a corporate lawyer for 26 years. When I was injured in 2017, I suddenly found myself on the other side of the aisle: I needed a lawyer. I did research, spoke with colleagues, and interviewed several attorneys. From our very first conversation, I found Daniel to be very straightforward and honest -- two highly unusual characteristics for lawyers. What most impressed me, however, was Daniel's responsiveness. Each time I called, Daniel personally answered the telephone (it's far more common for lawyers to use their staff to sift through possible clients). Each time Daniel promised to write me or contact me, he always did just as he promised. Even more surprising to me, Daniel would contact me with important information even when I wasn't expecting it. Daniel is not a salesman. He will tell you exactly how he feels about your case. This review is for the office of Devero Taus and specifically Greg Devero. In my review I would like to not only offer my A++ and or 5** review to the team at Devero Taus but also offer some personal advice of what I learned along the way in having dealt with an unsavory employer.
I took my case to several firms and they were either short, rude, condescending or all of the above. When I brought my case to Greg Devero my case points were listened to by another attorney and then brought to the attention of Greg Devero personally. Here is the #1 thing he did that sets him apart: HE LISTENED WITHOUT JUDGEMENT AND ALSO PAID CLOSE ATTENTION AND ASKED ALL THE RIGHT QUESTIONS.
He took my case on contingency while others asked for retainers I couldn't afford while I was in a weak period after suffering a job loss. And so the 3 year journey began.
For any person looking to take on an employer the office of Greg Devero offered the most sage and valuable advice along every step of the way. Here are some key takeaways they offered which proved to be invaluable.
1. MAKE A TIMELINE - I cannot stress how valuable this is. Time flies and 3 months becomes 1 year and if your opponent is covered under insurance you will be asked 100x the same series of events and a consistent timeline proves very valuable in the long haul. During discovery the documents that coincide with your timeline should not be lost due to lack of creating a formal DATED TIMELINE.

I worked with Mark Savoy and Diane Barrera Joseph Santaularia was my primary attorney or my main attorney for six months he helped me. I went through a situation that I’ve never been through and I should not have been in long story short I had three charges and was unaware. I found out through getting hired at this job when they did a background check they chose not to hire me and that’s when I became aware of my situation! So I had to prepare to turn myself in, which is something I’ve never done I didn’t do it right away I gathered information and did it about a month later I Went through that whole process ended up having to turn in my firearm. We fought hard on this for six months three charges dropped case dismissed as of 4 months ago last August 30th it was finalized. They helped me go through a process to where I was able to get the entire case sealed with the Help of Mark & Diane and now my case it now no longer appears on my record or anywhere, and they were able to help me get my firearm back. Colorado Legal Defense was always there with advice and if someone couldn’t make it, their whole team would make sure somebody was there to represent you in court. Without going much into detail of what had occurred with my employer, I was let go for the day I returned from short-term disability. Panic attacks occurring from an ever-present toxic culture had me suffering daily panic attacks.

I have no idea how a poor, black man convicted of murder in Lancaster, PA was fortunate enough to have attorney John M. Masslon, Esq. appointed by the court to successfully argue how inneffective every prior court-appointed counsel was and finally get him PCRA relief in the form of a new trial. Nor do I know the defendant or this lawyer and I take no position on his guilt or innocence. But I just did a deep dive on Google Scholar based on a newspaper article and read all the appeals. If not for Mr. Masslon's exceptional appellate skills, the defendant might rot in jail forever for lack of a good lawyer. If all court-appointed lawyers in PA were as diligent and effective from the get-go, the taxpayers would save a lot of money, the court system would not be as clogged, there would be no professional conflicts of interest to worry about, and the integrity of the PA judicial system would not be called into question as often as it is. Bravo, sir. Law as it should be: Fair, honest, ethical and just.

I’ve read all these reviews and am confused. Half of them are complaints about lack of communication & the other half are ranting & raving about their communication tactics. They’re either all or nothing…. None are in between. So I want to know how they choose which client gets which treatment because my sisters and I haven’t received any information from this law firm in over 3 years now. Not very reassuring at all!!!!!
