We were purchasing a home, and Mary was referred to us. Throughout the process Mary was actively involved, paid attention to critical details and overall made the legal/contractual side of the home buying process very easy. Lillian Miller was recommended by a friend to do estate planning for me. She did a great job. She met with me and my two children, where we discussed our situation and our needs. She listened very well, and took the time to understand us. She asked many questions, so she could get a clearer picture of what I would like to accomplish and avoid in the event of my death or incapacitation.
She spent a great deal of time explaining to us what our options were, and what advantages or disadvantages there would be depending on the choices that were made.
She was prompt in returning phone calls or emails. Her fees were reasonable.
I would highly recommend her as an estate planning attorney.

I was injured on the job in January 2016. Adam came to my home as I was disabled. He explained the application process for me to apply for SSD- and told me that as with most people, I would probably be initially denied. I was and Adam went to work on my appeal process and kept me informed every step of the way and was the most responsive Attorney I have ever had, answering any questions I had, often on the same day. His two para-legals, Nancy & Brittany are also top-notch.. what a team! Well, while it is not the norm, I was approved for my SSD benefits some months after my appeal. My boyfriend found Katie and Robert Fortgang on this website. They were both very helpful and very straight forward no funny business. If I had questions or concerns Katie came back with quick thorough answers through email or by phone. They made the whole process very easy. Since I had already relocated overseas most of the transaction happened over phone, Skype and e-mail. My child has a learning disability and after being denied by the school board that they would not place my child out of district to be educated to accommodate his educational needs I needed help in getting my child in a school that was appropriate for him. I spoke with Attorney Keller and express my concerns on the denial and how i felt about my child being in a school environment that i did not feel safe about. I felt Attorney Keller understood exactly want i was seeking and what was appropriate and right concerning my child. She was right there from the onset of my case to the end. I was recently a defendant in a civil law suit which lasted for a total of three years. I say total because the plaintiff and his attorney dropped their original suit after two years and then refiled a second suit within days. I was out of money after a two year defense by a major law firm in New London CT and they saw this as the perfect opportunity and time to let me go suggesting I seek other representation. Facing a new lawsuit and without an attorney I thankfully found Peter Bartinik of the Bartinik Law Firm. Our first conversation was by phone and he had many questions. He also knew I had no savings left as this was the very first thing that I told him. Our second conversation took place at his office where we spend about two hours discussing my case and a plan to move forward. I was grateful that he took my case knowing I could not immediately pay him more than a small retainer. This lawsuit at times could be very confusing as well as emotional for me and Peter would always take the time to be sure that I completely understood what was happening with my case as well as to keep me emotionally grounded. If I called him with a question or concern and he couldn't at that moment take my call he would get back to me in no time at all. He did so much to keep me free from worry and to get me through the final year of a long drawn out mess intact and in my home which was what the lawsuit was all about. This case never went to trial and was settled out of the courtroom. Before the settlement I was facing the possibility of having to lose and leave my home. I now had my home but owed money to Peters' firm and he provided me with a payment plan that I could afford. First about Attorney Rojas, Jose is a extremely compitent and accomplished attorney his knowledge of the law and the way the system works is brilliant. Jose intrenches himself in your case never making mention of the ammount of time and research he puts into the matter. Attorney Rojas is a compassionate person in his approach to the client but also is extremely honest and forthcoming when it comes to what your expectations of a case should be. in my experience he was extremely prompt, responsive, and professional. The results I recieved were beyond my expectations and I credit Jose's patience, research, and knowledge of the law for much of that. Too many times in today's world you pay for services only to be dissapointed in what you get in return, not with this man!! I had a wonderful experience working with Scott Carlson, or as I know him, Scott. From day one he knew exactly the in's and the out's of everything that pertained to my case. Literally 1 Day!!
My wife and I decided to separate.
