My attorney, Debra Cruz, saved me & my son's emotional and physical well being- literally. My life was completely torn apart at the beginning of my separation. There was absolutely no light at the end of my tunnel. Debra's education, expertise, & emotional support saved me from losing my son. She walked my family and I through each & every step- always guiding and supporting me. She never failed me- not even once. The court proceedings got extremely confusing & technical for me to handle. A lot of divorcees choose to attempt to "go at it" alone- under no circumstance do I recommend that. Words could never begin the gratitude that I have for Ms. Cruz. And although my case has since been closed- Debra still makes her self available to me for questions &/or concerns about the future. I have battled many many issues both personally & with my ex husband & without Debra, I don't necessarily know I could have made it through. I still have to go back to court at some point late next year- and I can only pray that she and her team are 100% behind my son and I again!

Chris has been representing my case since I hired him as my WC attorney. I can truly say if WC tries not to work in your favor or slow with your payments; Chris jump right on the matter and get fast positive results. When calling his office I get to speak with my attorney and not an office personnel. He is always willing to talk without rushing through the conversation. I would highly recommend Attorney Christopher Marts.

I would definitely hire Samantha again! She was honest, careing and very patient. I like the fact that she was completely honest with me. Telling me everything to expect. She was great about returning phone calls and listening to me with compassion She was completely professional and at the same time treated me as a freind. Sam and her team were unbelievable to work with!!! I hired Sam to finalize my divorce and to finally get my ex-husband to pay me child support. Sam fought so hard and finally got my kids the support they deserved. Sam was so sympathetic and caring, but fought hard for us to get the job done!!! The entire practice was helpful, amazing, and professional!! They were always there when I needed help!! I would recommend them to anyone going through something so difficult!!!

Several years ago one of my clients became dissatisfied and demanded a refund for work already completed. Unfortunately for me the client was an attorney and so sued me when I refused. I shopped around and found Mr. Sutton who was by far the nicest and most concerned attorney that I had spoken to. It was quickly obvious that was he genuinely interested in helping me. He recommended that I "put the matter to bed" by paying the client because it would be the cheapest and easiest thing to do. Although he was clearly correct I was incensed that my client was essentially blackmailing me because their attorney fees would be zero and mine would be significant. None the less I decided to defend my reputation even though it would be more expensive than settling the case with a refund. Mr. Sutton understood my concern for my reputation and agreed that although I was obviously in the right it was probably not the wisest financial decision I was ever going to make. His zeal in defending me and his handling of the case were such that you would have thought that that he was the one being sued. He virtually took it personally and worked overtime even though I was paying him a fixed-fee for his services!! Although we prevailed at trial, the vindictive client appealed (why not? It cost them nothing) and Mr. Sutton agreed to continue helping defend me at a substantial discount because he realized this other attorney was a.) wrong and b.) abusing their position as an attorney to try to run-up my court cost so I would stop defending myself and pay them. Thanks to Mr. Sutton's hard work and very clever approach to the issues the appeal judge was able to rule in my favor. Thank you Mr. Sutton!! I think I can reasonably say that he is one of the finest attorneys in the country due to his professionalism, concern for his clients, and work ethic. Yet, despite all his hard work he was one of the most reasonably priced attorneys that I consulted in my search. If you need legal help, do not hesitate to hire him, you'll be glad you did.

The best decision I ever made was to retain Stewart A. Sutton as my family lawyer. He was recommended by one of my co-workers. I called him on Monday; and he provided me with a free consultation the following day. Stewart A. Sutton thoroughly explained the divorce process, including the division of marital property, custody, child support, and alimony. He discussed how he would handle my case and provided me with an estimate of what my total fees would be. I retained Stewart Sutton, because he impressed me with his knowledge and experience. Not only did Stewart Sutton provide excellent representation throughout my entire case, his total fees were almost 25% less than his initial estimate.

I broke my foot and ankle at a restaurant, at no fault of my own. Lisa was my attorney and she worked night and day on my case to get me the best settlement possible. She was a pleasure to work with and she did absolutely everything she could for me, and even went with me to my first physical therapy appointment and orthopedic doctor appts to represent me. This is the first time I've had to hire a lawyer for anything. I wasn't really sure what to expect but Andrea was very forthcoming about what was needed and explained everything so that I understood. She kept me informed about where things were with my case. More than any of the above, she was very friendly, caring and supportive of my needs. Julie Landau is one of the most AMAZING lawyers I've ever met. She gave me time on her weekend's. She dropped everything she could when I needed her. I had a DV case and a lot of last-minute issues with my EX in which Julie was always there for me. She gives extremely helpful legal advice but was emotionally supportive as well. She went out of her way to make me feel like I was her top priority ALWAYS and ANYTIME. This woman will fight for you and help you every step of the way. This is who you will always want on your side when it comes to trail and navigating a messy divorce. She goes out of her way to explain things and not speak over your head. If there was a way to give her more than 5 stars I would in a heartbeat. One of the strongest, kindest, detail oriented, inspirational women I've ever known. Last thing you'd want is to see her on the opposing side.

I could not have asked for a better experience to get through my divorce. While working with Julie and Alex they were on top of everything from the gate, and there were no questions I had that were not answered genuinely with my best interest. Cares about clients and wants to get you a positive outcome without bankrupting you. I have learned that you can pretty much divide divorce attorneys into 2 categories: one group that simply wants to churn information back and forth between attorneys as well as between attorney and client in way that simply bills hours and accomplishes little until the 11th hour when it could have been settled in the first or second hour. And then there is a group, like Karen, that truly wants to problem solve, propose solutions, avoid litigation and get an outcome for her client that is both fair and reasonable in cost. Karen is honest, dedicated and she told me what I needed to hear rather than what I wanted to hear. I cannot recommend her highly enough. I was fortunate to have someone recommend her to me and, every time I mentioned her to someone in the legal community in Maryland (4x), the response from each attorney was overwhelmingly positive. If you are looking for someone who will be in your corner, fight for you, shoot straight with you(the good and the bad), look no further than Karen Amos.

When I left my husband and made it clear I didn't feel safe around him anymore, he left work early and showed up at my daughter's house before I got there. She let me know and I was able to wait until he got tired and left peacefully before going there, but it was terrifying. My daughter convinced me to file for a protective order after hours that night (Monday), but I was so flustered I know I didn't do a good job of filling out the paperwork. I went to the first hearing (wednesday) by myself, and the judge sounded like I didn't have cause to be granted the permanent decree, he said I would get one for a week and would have the final hearing next week where my husband could be there. I had Mary recommended to me, and even though I hadn't decided if I needed a divorce or if we could still save the marriage, I reached out for help with the protective order. Mary was SO helpful! She explained the process to me, helped me figure out what parts of our relationship would be useful to mention for the protective order, talked me through what my options were for planning a divorce, and was just really responsive. It took several weeks for my husband to be served by the police, and she was able to get me a waiver of appearance so I didn't have to appear every week. Mary talked to my daughter and prepared her to give testimony of how my husband was when he showed up unexpectedly in case he decided to contest the order. When he was finally served a few weeks later, it was on Tuesday afternoon that we found out that we would need to be there Wednesday morning. Mary even wrote an email to my daughter's supervisor at work explaining the situation and offering to get a subpoena if necessary for her not to get in trouble for taking time off to go with me! She was at the courthouse before us, talking to my husband, and told us to go ahead into the courtroom so we wouldn't have to interact with him. He was agitated, so much so that after the judge ruled he called her up to see what was going on, but she still managed to get him to agree to everything, I got to keep using my car, kept my dog, and he wasn't allowed to bother me for a year, which will give me the time to establish separation for the divorce. I highly recommend talking to Mary, especially if you need help with separation and haven't decided if you need to move forward with a divorce or want to try counseling. I was worried that a divorce attorney would be expecting me to move forward with a divorce and be pushing me to do so, but Mary was perfect, she listened to all of my concerns and even made sure while she was talking to him to check if my husband would consider getting therapy to work on our relationship, but he shut that down as always. Mary even took time out of her day to sit with me to make sure I was safe and my husband left after the hearing, because I was waiting on my ride home. I can't recommend her enough!

John worked on my National Interest Waiver petition. Many Lawyers rejected my case because I was a newly-minted Ph.D with few papers and a low number of citations. John worked hard with me on my case, crafting a compelling petition that was approved by USCIS. John is very professional and knowledgeable about the immigration process. I highly recommend John for immigration cases.

Attorney John Yun helped me with my I-140 NIW petition. During the course of the filing process, attorney Yun gave me a lot of great advices in order to improve my case, specifically, he suggested me who to seek for recommendation letters. Moreover, he answered all of my concerns in under 24 hours, which is really helpful. Lastly, attorney Yun is an experienced lawyer, in which he meticulously did research with regards to my research area and wrote the petition flawlessly. Overall, thanks to his contribution, my I-140 was approved without RFE. I highly recommended attorney Yun for merit-based petitions to USCIS.

Getting a divorce final 2. Not losing my Maryland home or North Carolina 3.Provide proof that she didnot qualify for alimony 4.Keeping all of my share of the North Carolina property and not paying her any equity 5. Make a settlement early in the process, and not running up a large legal bill. All of the above goals were met. I think that it truly remarkable to have five goals and they were all met. I was in a dire situation concerning my permanent residential status. In essence I had to leave the country, because my mother had suddenly passed away. My P.R.C. had expired & was in process for renewal, but unfortunately was delayed because of the pandemic. My dilemma was how do I gain re-entry with an expired P.R.C? Also my daughter was expecting my 1st Grandchild in another part of the world & needed much emotional & physical support. In my opinion, Ms. Lowery handled our case with the utmost professionalism, and really helped my wife and I get through the process with as little frustration/headaches as possible. It's apparent that Ms. Lowery is very knowledgeable and well-versed in her practice. She effectively explained all the applicable details of our case, and clearly let us know exactly what was required of us. Ms. Lowery's professionalism and expertise were reiterated when he had our hearing, and had the opportunity to witness other lawyers - from my perspective, she is clearly a level above the other lawyers we saw. Throughout the process, Ms. Lowery and her staff kept us informed and were good at responding to all the questions we had. If I were forced to go through this again, I would make the same choice in selecting Ms. Lowery to represent us.

I still get scared when I think about how my life would have been if I did not meet John. I consulted with him for my divorce case several times. He was very experienced, fair to both sides, and most importantly generous. Filing for divorce can be very emotional, complicated, ugly, and have a big impact on our lives. John sees every case from every different angle that he can think of based on facts and from a legal perspective, and thinks about what is the best choice for us in each person's circumstance. His advice could be totally different from others including lawyers and friends, but he is a lawyer we can trust as a lawyer and a person. In my case, his advice was different from all others; however, it turned out to be better for me. He literally saved my life. I cannot express with any word how much appreciation I have for him.

John helped me with my divorce settlement a few years ago. My case was a little complicated because of various reasons. My brother was arrested in January and was just released this week. David was his public defender. I am an attorney in Texas. David was amazing! He knew the system and advocated valiantly for my brother. He assisted us in so many ways during this process, I'll never be able to thank him enough! Nicole was instrumental in securing placement for my severely dyslexic son. She is an amazing attorney who fought tirelessly to get my son's academic needs met. I cannot say enough good things about Nicole and the work she did for my family. She helped my son through one of the most difficult times in his life and in our family's life. She is knowledgeable, insightful, calm and responsive. She was present whenever we needed her. She advised us, argued with the other side when necessary, and gave us our options in a clear, understandable manner. She advocated for our son at IEP meetings and throughout the administrative process. She also helped us find resources beyond the school system, to ensure he was getting everything he needed. It was clear she cared about him as a person and felt for him and his struggles. I can't recommend her enough. If you are looking for someone to advocate for your child's educational rights and ensure your child is getting the educational services and support that he/she is entitled to under the law, I can't think of anyone better. If/when we need her help again (as I am sure we will given the long educational career ahead of us) she will definitely be our first call.

I recommend Sandra to anyone who needs help with immigration. She was very helpful adjusting my wife's status in court and getting her a green card. Before that she also obtained a waiver for my wife's two year home residency requirement. During the long and complicated case she was always very thorough in preparing the case documents and was compassionate. She is very professional. Out of a few lawyers I've had a chance to work with, she is absolutely the best immigration lawyer. We were in a tough situation and considered ourselves lucky that Sandra was representing us.

Cares about clients and wants to get you a positive outcome without bankrupting you. I have learned that you can pretty much divide divorce attorneys into 2 categories: one group that simply wants to churn information back and forth between attorneys as well as between attorney and client in way that simply bills hours and accomplishes little until the 11th hour when it could have been settled in the first or second hour. And then there is a group, like Karen, that truly wants to problem solve, propose solutions, avoid litigation and get an outcome for her client that is both fair and reasonable in cost. Karen is honest, dedicated and she told me what I needed to hear rather than what I wanted to hear. I cannot recommend her highly enough. I was fortunate to have someone recommend her to me and, every time I mentioned her to someone in the legal community in Maryland (4x), the response from each attorney was overwhelmingly positive. If you are looking for someone who will be in your corner, fight for you, shoot straight with you(the good and the bad), look no further than Karen Amos.

My husband and I faced anyone's worse nightmare regarding the immigration police, they came to our home to detain and deport my husband over something that was closed and occurred over 12 years ago. Attorney Edward Neufville was god sent, we had dealt with an Attorney prior to locating Attorney Edward and we were over charged and the Attorney before Attorney Edward had us was preparing for immigration court, paying litigation Attorneys, kept us in the dark, and we did not receive the professionalism and knowledgeable experience we had with Attorney Edward. Attorney Neufville was able to prove my husbands citizenship and my husband received his Citizenship certificate without having to go through litigation or immigration court. When we took our case to Alexandra she was the fourth lawyer we had seen but the first one to say that our case was feasible. Thanks to her we were able to get our hardship case approved. It took us about two years to complete, and she honestly warned us up front that this would take a long time and be costly. She made no guarantees and was quite ethical. She assisted us through the entire process, step by step. We did everything we could for our part, and she built up our case for us. She is very professional and highly skilled, and her rate is reasonable. We referred other people to Alexandra and they too were able to get their cases approved.
