We have used Mr. McDowell for more than ten years for both personal and business issues and each time received stellar representation. We've used Pete for a very serious accident case, to rewrite our wills, and to represent our company in various legal matters, so his representation for us has been of several different aspects, yet each one had a successful outcome. What sets Pete aside from other attorneys is the compassion and empathy he feels for his clients. It's as if he isn't taking on a "case", but more that he is taking a genuine personal interest in his clients' concerns. Extremely competent lawyer with tremendous passion for law. Peter and his team are very professional and actually take the time to get to know you. Kristen was readily available and always helpful when Peter was away. Peter was a prosecutor several years ago, and he knows exactly how to talk to the opposing team. He is also a part of the ethics board and you can see how he follows the principles during his practice. Peter is a lawyer who doesn't act like money is the most important part of the case. I never felt rushed when I randomly stopped by to check on the case, or when I came in with a million questions. It's so unique to find a team that treats you with this kind of care and compassion. Peter will fight for justice, and will work countless hours until he feels confident in your representation. He is very knowledgeable and if unfamiliar with a topic, or if there is an unexpected change in the law or case, he will research it until he is an expert. Bradley is the only lawyer I have ever had because I have not been in trouble much in my life. He did an excellent job of getting me a Probation Before Judgement on a misdemeanor charge. He accomplished this by getting me in front of a specific judge that was known for PBJ sentences. I didn't have to do any jail time and only ended up with 90 days probation. He also helped me get my record expunged of the charge. He did so much for me and I am grateful for him!

From the first conversation I had with Mr. Warby I was very confident in his ablity to defend me against the 3 felony charges I was facing and hired him right away. I told him all the details about my case and he was able to see the clear miscarriage of justice that was in the process of taking place. I was kept updated at all times and never had a problem reaching Mr. Warby, The charges against me were all dismissed prior to the trial date which was an unexpected but very pleasant outcome. I have know Mark Weinberg for nearly 30 years as a trusted friend and for the last 8 or 10 years as my primary legal advisor for the philanthropy I direct. We are a major ($40M/year) biomedical philanthropy with some additional interests in education primarily in the US and occasionally in the 3rd world. Mark's advice is always the best I can find and the other attorneys we use always defer to him for questions of tax law especially as it relates to philanthropy. His broad experience, depth of knowledge and delightful personality combine to make him the only choice for us for advice on relevant questions. His work is meticulous and his response time is truly outstanding. Since we have interactions with several other attorneys for other issues or in other countries by necessity, my comment that Mark is the best is based on a significant field of comparison.

It is rare to call Mark Weinberg and not get straight through to talk with him. If he is out of the office or for some other reason is unable to talk with you immediately, he returns the call the same day or sends an e-mail to let you know when he will be able to respond. He would rather lose a client than compromise his integrity, whcih makes him a totally trustworthy and objective counselor. He is particularly knowledgeable about nonprofit law, and he is careful to point out potential conflicts of interest and actions which could be misinterpreted even if they might be, in the strictest sense, legal. Mark has been our attorney for over 25 years, and he has never failed to provide wise counsel every time we have called upon him.

Mr. Goldberg helped me to receive the maximum settlement possible for an auto accident that left me injured. This was my first time hiring an attorney and wasn't even sure if I needed one after a bad car accident. Jonathan walked me through the whole process, dealt with the stressful and annoying insurance companies/hospital bills, and even checked in to see how I was progressing and healing. Glenn has consistantly provided a level of legal services and advice which are above and beyond the norm. My wife and I had some irrevocable trusts from many years ago that were never really explained to us. We talked with Ms. Johnson, who sat down with us and explained how they worked, and more importantly, what the tax issues were. This is the first time anyone explained what they were for. We hired Ms. Johnson to update our estate plan and fix the trusts.

I was referred to Cheryl after my father passed away. He had set up Trusts for me and my brother and sister and I was the initial Trustee. Cheryl was excellent in helping me deal with my father's estate and setting up the three Trusts. Until my father passed, we had no idea that our inheritance would be in the form of irrevocable Trusts instead of outright to us. Cheryl helped us to make sure that we did not violate the terms of the Trusts. She helped us set them up to make them irrevocable and she gave us detailed instructions about how to manage the Trusts so that we did not violate my father's wishes. She also helped with the probate estate. Cheryl is helping us with ongoing Trust Administration, including taxes. We would be lost without her.

My wife and I were referred to Ms. Johnson by our financial advisor, who said that we may have to pay estate taxes. We met with Ms. Johnson and she did an amazing job explaining complex tax concepts to us--she used diagrams and had prepared a strategy guide for us before our first meeting. We ended up hiring her to draft our wills and trusts and to draft two advanced irrevocable trusts (GRATs) that moved some assets out of our taxable estates. We never knew that these GRATs existed or how they worked!

I have a situation where my corporation has only done business in Florida with a new contract to do business in Maryland, but living in Washington DC. Robb did a super job explaining how to handle my situation as far as where to pay state/DC income taxes and what filings are needed. Also, he was more concerned about making sure I was well-informed than watching the clock.

Matt is a great lawyer period! When he took over my case it was just a few months from the SOL and I was very worried about that, Matt assured me that he would handle everything and handle it he did. He answered every single question I had (no matter how dumb) in a timely matter he didn't hesitate to email or call me back the same day! When it was time to negotiate with the insurance company Matt kept me on top of every single detail, and phone conversation. Matt truly seems to care about his clients, he doesn't just treat you like "a number" like some lawyer's and firm's do. Matt went well above my expectations. After my case settled I had some personal bills that I needed to get paid and Matt made arrangements to have my check hand delivered to me instead of mailing it and having to wait longer for it to arrive and clear so I was able to get those bills paid. We turned to Chaim for advice on addressing our tax debt and to see if an "offer in compromise" was feasible. Chaim reviewed our financial situation and directed us to tools on the IRS website to determine if we might qualify for a reduction in our taxes. After going through those tools together, we concluded that we weren't candidates for an "offer in compromise". Throughout the process, Chaim was professional, knowledgeable, open and supportive.

I worked with Ms. Jean-Baptiste to help make my end of life wishes a reality. The process was incredibly smooth! I met with her on January 26th, to go over my wishes, and 5 business days later everything was finalized. I had assumed that the process would take at least one month. Nadine is both personable and professional. She didn't confuse me with lawyer jargon. Instead, she explained everything in layman's terms and made me feel welcomed and a part of her team. I was switched over to Sheldon by a law firm and he really took interest in me and my case. He really cares about his clients and won't waste your time. My attorney, Garry Wilcox Jr., worked with me throughout the entire process, making sure everything was taken care of every step of the way. My initial incident was a frustrating one physically and emotionally. I had just graduated from college and purchased my first car, and a situation beyond my control caused another driver to rear end me while I was stopped at a red light. Just a few months into purchasing the car, I was devastated with the damages inflicted on my car, as well as on my person. I was so nervous about my injuries, as my job was physically demanding, but Garry ensured me that he would work his hardest to make sure that not a penny of lost wages would truly be lost. I felt a strong sense of comfort upon meeting with Garry and initially going through the first stages of my case. I truly felt like I had someone by my side and that would make sure that I received the aid and support that I needed during my otherwise nervous and panicked state. The hardest I worked throughout my entire case was on myself, through physical therapy and regaining my health. Everything else was fully taken care of by my attorney. My SSDI case was quite a unique one. My entire case was conducted during the COVID pandemic, entailing that I never personally met any of the lawyers or staff. All proceedings & communications were conducted over the phone, via email or through the US mail; including 3 hearings with the ALJ judge and numerous conversations with SSA. What should one look for in a divorce lawyer? Well, I had no idea, but I’ve now been through the journey (and emerged successful). So, let me share what I’ve learned: Five things I’d tell a friend to look for in a family law attorney: 1. Knowledgeable and experienced about family law; 2. Tough and convincing in court and also part of the system (knowledgeable of and friendly with peers); 3. Diligent and demonstrates document preparation; 4. Informative and communicative while being realistic (no lofty promises, just the truth). 5. Last, and most importantly perhaps: Integrity and an honest concern for his clients I’m able to put this list together, because Jonathan demonstrated all of these in handling my case, particularly his genuine concern for my children and me. Pilar came through for me when I needed it the most. I was only a juvenile, when they charged me (State) with Rape, when in reality, I didn't even rape the victim. Pilar did what she had to, in order for me to get moved to the Juvenile court system. Yes, I had to endure the House Arrest for a number of months, but she knew what she was doing. She won my case. I hired her because of her background. We had a similar culture. Also, the fact that she was a female attorney, who fought hard for what she wanted, I thought it would be intimidating, as I was proven right. We won my case, and I was indeed moved down to the Juvenile court system, and she did what she could to minimize my requirements. I would really recommend her to anyone. She used to be a former prosecutor I believe, so that gives her an huge advantage as a defense attorney.

Mu mother has several traffic violations in Montgomery county and Washington DC. We hired Pilar for her bilingual skills. Mr. Lebowitz is a wonderful lawyer in the Maryland/D.C. area. I came to know about him through a friend of mine who had a case represented by him. Mr. Lebowitz distinguishes himself from other lawyers in that he conducts his business while sticking to high personal integrity both for himself and his clients.
