Katherine Burnstein came highly recommended by another lawyer I've known for years, and worked for nearly 18 months on my divorce and custody case. Katherine possesses a perfect balance of compassion, empathy, and occasional brutal honesty when necessary.
Her years of experience and her clear love of ongoing learning were invaluable in helping me navigate a complex situation that I knew little about. She had the patience and willingness to listen and help me figure out what I wanted and needed, without ever pushing me toward her own conclusions. When the need arose for specialists outside of the field of law to assist with the case, I was very impressed with the experts she brought it.
Katherine showed keen attention to detail, catching little details in the settlement proposals that were either errors or ambiguities. In the end, I benefitted from her ability to catch these details that others might have missed.
Katherine seems to have good working relationships with other family lawyers in town and is respectful, professional, and friendly when communicating with them. When she needs to, however, she has a fierce strength and voice that gets what needs to be done, done.
Going through a divorce is an agonizing experience, and it meant the world to me to have someone like Katherine fighting in my corner and walking with me through that difficult time. I can't recommend her highly enough.

Kathryn is personable, knowledgeable, articulate, thorough, and patient. From day one, I knew that she was going to be a source of comfort during the most trying time of my life. As someone who has never been involved in any sort of court procedure, I felt at ease because she is the best communicator, explaining the process, my rights and what a realistic outcome would look like. Kathryn handled my divorce. She was absolutely intent on making sure I got the very best settlement and on ensuring I understood the repercussions of my decisions during the process. She was direct, especially when she believed I was making decisions against my best interests.
She was also flexible when my now-ex-spouse and I were making unusual requests.
Kathryn was easy to reach when I had questions.
She was supportive, which I very much appreciated.

I was wrongfully accused of a Title IX infraction. Marc is an exceptional listener and possesses the innate ability to ascertain facts from friction. After discussing my situation, Marc walked me through the Title IX process and explained how we should address the issue. Marc assisted in drafting a response letter to the adjudicate and coached me leading up to the interview. In the end, the accusation was not a Title IX issue, and flaws and false accusations in the claimant's testimony surfaced in which the case was ruled in my favor. I would not have known how to respond and properly defend myself without Marc’s assistance. Finally, Marc was always responsive and his fee for service was reasonable. Words cannot express the gratitude I have for Marc; but I will give my best attempt for anyone going through challenging and distressful legal matters to completely give him your trust!!! I just followed everything Marc guided me to do. He constantly walked me through everything every time we met. I hired Marc Chavez for a Title XI case I was named a Respondent for. To put it briefly, he was incredible. He was present at all of my interviews with investigators and provided me with useful legal counsel throughout the entire process. Marc without a doubt is in a class of his own. On the day of our hearing, the Complainant tried pulling a fast one on us by having a surprise witness show up to testify against me. Marc handled the situation amazingly. He managed to stay calm and continue to present our case in a clear and concise manner. Mr Montes was very helpful. I had an unnecessary issue with the TMB which is still on, but he had guided me through it in a very smooth, responsable, confident and honest way. Mr. Rodney Montes, Attorney is an expert at the rule of law of the Texas Board Of Nursing and the Texas Medical Board. The Texas Board Of Nursing (BON) served me with allegations such as "sleeping, medication errors, and assault" while on duty. I hired Mr. Montes to respond to the Board Of Nursing allegations. As a result, the Board did not take any action against me and the investigation was completed and closed based on my attorney's response to the board. Andrew Harris is an exceptional attorney. This is the second time I have had to go through a child support battle with my ex. The first time was very stressful and my ex’s attorney made it very difficult to be able to come to any sort of agreement or common ground; it makes me sick to even think about. With Andrew, it was not like this at all! Andrew is so personable, that it makes it easy to talk out everything with him. He did a great job at calming my anxiety and reassuring me. His ability to be so personable was a huge help when it came to negotiating with my ex and his attorney this time around. I am really greatful, for no only did Enrrique managed to get me a bail bond from immigration, but also DACCA. I arrived at the U.S. at a very young age, 7 to be exact. I know nothing about Mexico, and the risk of me been deported was 80% deportation. With the history that I had here in the U.S. was nearly impossible to get accepted to DACCA, and wich means stop my deportation. Enrique did a phenomenal job, with great work ethic. Robert has been there for me through thick and thin, with excellent knowledge of not only Family Law but Criminal law as well and has never hesitated to answer any questions I have had. The first meeting I had with Bryan Forman, I knew he was the one I hoped to have represent me in pursuing funds (mostly retirement)
I was not able to get returned by a broker I had done business with for over 10 years. At age 70, I discovered that I had been taken for a ride. Not only could I not get to my money, I could not get any records either, nor was the broker's company or FINRA any help.
Bryan listened, and was able to explain to me exactly what the laws say, what rules and regulations are applicable, and what he could and could not do to help me recover any money. I certainly did not hide my anger since I had already been trying to deal with the broker for 2 years. Bryan, however, acknowledged my frustrations while keeping the focus on recovery of funds. I found that he was very honest in what the actual possibilities were, and I always felt that he was working for my best interest.
I cannot overemphasize how Bryan's knowledge of how a brokerage business works (he formally owned one himself) affected my case. In mediation he brought up a policy that brokerages have that even the experienced, opposing attorney didn't know about which ultimately helped my case and brought some restitution!
I always found Bryan available for consultation and I certainly appreciated his willingness to explain things to me. This was also
true of his assistant, Melody Bounds.
As a result of having Bryan as my attorney, I have received some restitution with a possibility of more to come.

Appears to have excellent knowledge of the laws and procedures that were or could have been utilized in my case. Has many outside contacts locally and nationally to contact for information and for second opinions. Bryan did a good job of presenting, or formatting my case to work best for me. He presented the case well in mediation and linked people to the liability side, beyond the first level. If there was anything that Bryan might have done better, it would be in the area of the settlement amount. The individuals, that were liable in the case, gave there financial positions, which was broke, none of which was truly validated. Settlement amounts were partially based on these, unsubstantiated claims.

After an accident with a semi truck I engaged Briggle Polan to assist me through the process. They were communicative, friendly, helpful and supportive throughout. Parker was instrumental in getting the best outcome possible, all charges were dismissed! I was facing very serious criminal charges and never having faced any criminal charges before, he informed me of all that I was up against and all the possible outcomes. The legal process was pretty long but he was able to respond either by phone calls or emails and keep me up to date with the progression of my case. Bonnie Nicole (Nikki) Hudman was exactly what I wanted and needed in a divorce lawyer. So often, we hear about contentious divorces in which the focus seems to be making the opposing party as miserable as possible. I did not want my case to be like that. Sure, making a cheating spouse go through all kinds of hell would be enormously satisfying; but, after all, that approach only serves to make everyone miserable and runs up your legal fees. I wanted a lawyer who is smart, someone who pays extraordinary attention to the details, and a lawyer who is professional and completely ethical. Nikki fulfilled all those requirements. I never doubted her loyalty to me. I know she had plenty of other clients, but she made me feel as though my case was of the utmost importance. I tried to not call or email her unless I really needed to; but when I did, she was very prompt to respond. When my case went to mediation, I was ready to give into demands from the opposing counsel. She looked me square in the face and said she would not let me do that. She said that I deserved more. Now, eight months later, I'm so happy she did that. I suppose we could have gone to trial to fight for an even greater percentage of the marital property, but Nikki clearly explained the possible benefits and the likely added expense. She definitely had my best interest in mind rather than increasing her legal fees. In the end, I'm very pleased with the outcome. My case finished with a property division I'm happy with, legal fees that weren't too painful, and the knowledge that my lawyer did a top-notch job for me. Best of all, I walked away with my dignity. Can't say that for the other side!
Just a note about Nikki's firm: Everyone that worked on my case was professional and courteous, especially Nikki's assistant. Every time I went to their office, I was treated with respect and kindness. I initially consulted with one of the partners. He suggested that I work with Nikki. I could not be more happy with the outcome of my case. I was arrested for DUI with a high BAC and a multi car accident (no one was hurt) so my initial situation had little hope. After meeting with Amando for the first time he made it clear to me that the journey through this situation may be tough, but the final product might not be as bleak as it seems. Amando got me to do all of the victim impact panels and alcohol awareness classes out of the way at the front end and made a good enough case to the prosecutor that my DUI was dismissed! A plea deal resulted in the case being refiled as a lesser charge but the great weight of a DUI being forever stamped on my background was lifted. Amando is one of attorneys in the firm. The firm helped me set up expected terms for a case plea. The terms were acceptable for the charge but would have a lasting negative impact on my life. Amando strived to achieve a more favorable result for his client (myself) and continued to negotiate over time with the prosecution team. It was because of his persistence and resolve that we were legally able to downgrade a severe charge to a lesser charge. The result will or would have, in the case of the more severe charge, a major impact on my life in terms of social and societal implications.
He clearly showed concern and care for his client. The case could have been closed several months prior to the actual plea date. Amando chose to provide added professional value and service and not see his client have trouble finding a job or experience repercussions for a criminal record.
His personable attitude is ideal for a courtroom setting where an attorney must be respected and well-liked by the prosecution and state employees. I feel that his demeanor and candor played a significant role in achieving better terms for the case.

From the minute I walked into Jorge’s office I felt good. When we sat down and spoke about why I was there I was treated with the utmost attention and respect.
