Mr. Jewell was extremely helpful during a security clearance adjudication and subsequent appeal. A medical provider in the Air Force had rendered a harsh evaluation, and Mr. Jewell helped build, review, and submit responses to the Department of Defense Consolidated Adjudications Facility (DOD CAF). Although my clearance was revoked, Mr. Jewell continued working and engaging through the appeal process. He provided timely and accurate information on both the clearance adjudication and appeal processes. Developing a plan for a second medical evaluation and separate medical opinion, Mr. Jewell helped my case be successfully appealed and my security clearance reinstated. He was always responsive when called or emailed, even through roughly 20 months of the clearance adjudication and appeal process. Although military members can self-represent in the process, Mr. Jewell backing my response submissions gave me great peace of mind, especially when it felt that I was being outcast by the entire base medical community. I also felt that my leadership took my case more seriously when notified that I had hired an attorney. I would never want anyone to go through the same experience, but I sincerely appreciate all the help, effort, and support from Mr. Jewell over such an extended time frame. It was very comforting and uplifting to know at least one person truly believed my side of events, and he was willing and capable to prove the facts.

I was involved in an accident riding my motorcycle to work where the other driver did a u-turn right in front of me. After the accident and emergency surgery I called another attorney who didn't want to take my case and made it seem like I was at fault. I found Ray King doing a Google search and he came over right away and spoke to me personally. He is always quick to respond to calls, texts or emails and communicated regularly with me to let me know how things were going. Ray helped me by dealing with my insurance and the other drivers insurance and helped us get the money we needed to help with my medical expenses and then some. I am a COTA and new to the state of Texas, so when the licensing board contacted me with a complaint of fraud, I didn't know who to call. I went online and literally "picked one." I lucked out! I was consulted to Mr. D'Souza by a dear friend and an RN as well. Once retained, this Esquire (An Attorney at Law) and often my personal counselor when I lost it; on many occasion, which I fear, you will as well while going through your ordeal. I was quite "unnerved" with several entities. The persons who made extreme erroneous, blatant, fabricated, seditious, and simply ridiculous allegations regarding my nursing acumen. My nursing acumen are second to none! Near darn flawless! I mean, that’s how male RNs need to roll, especially when encompassed by the female persuasion and knowing this is their world, but not anymore. Men perform great in the discipline of nursing; I’m a witness to that attestation; there are those who can’t and refuse to handle it. That’s ok; because of my Attorney Andre’.
Andre’ not only prevailed this case against the TX BON, but during the lengthy process, in many instances where I wished to pertest my innocence towards the very entities that were against me… he restored me, helped me calm down, and doubly reassured me. He told me sternly on a few occassions that he was my attorney both verbally and in writ, to NOT speak to ANYONE! Absolutely No One! That was a hard lesson for me to learn hence, me sharing it with you so, you don’t make the same mistake. Listen to him, and trust in him and the firm; no matter what! I my case I was arrested for possession of cocaine under 1 g and a misdemeanor Xanax charge. So I was looking at a felony and a misdemeanor. I have had a previous felony in another state which we all thought was going to be a factor in the final outcome. Channing being quick to move was able to get the misdemeanor dropped and the felony was dropped down to a misdemeanor. The reason that this was a great outcome was because I did have a previous felony. Whether you have the disease of addiction that has you caught up or you just got in trouble I would recommend Channing Neary. I believe that she takes every case is very personal and I believe she is very competitive. If I don't see fire in a lawyer I damn sure won't hire. She is straight up and I'll tell you how it is and extremely polite and kind at the same time. But when she gets in that courtroom then it's showtime because she knows your life depends upon it!

Mr. Amini (though he would insist I call him Neema) is an aggressive and reasonable attorney. By that i mean he has no problems going toe-to-toe with opposing counsel and seems to be downright, coldly comfortable when things get heated. But he is reasonable too, does not lose sight of what the other side might be thinking, and seems to be concerned more with solving your problem than dragging out a case and billing for it.
I hired Mr. Amini because of a dispute with a business partner of 20 years. While we never had any conflicts before, suddenly all we had were conflicts and because we did business on a handshake basis, we did not have documentation for most of our agreements. While Mr. Amini explained I should get everything in writing in the future, he was able to establish the existence of previously denied agreements when grilling my partner in deposition.
Once we had done that, we were in a much better place to settle, and Mr. Amini explained that while we could possibly get more money if we pushed on further, I would end up spending most of that on increased legal fees, and so he suggested I consider settling. I was originally pretty emotional and wanted to go for the win, but I was surprised Mr. Amini suggested something which would mean less legal fees for him. So I discussed it with my wife, we agreed that we would be better off settling and so we did. He negotiated a great settlement for me and my company and now I turn to Mr. Amini for any legal questions I have. I feel like I have found my attorney for life.

I hired Mr. Amini for two cases, the first one somewhat involved and the second relatively simple.
In the first case, which went to trial, Mr. Amini was brilliant with his closing argument. We being the Plaintiff, I expected opposing counsel to speak last, but the judge surprised me by giving us the opportunity for a rebuttal. If Mr. Amini was surprised, he didn't show it, doing a great job with the rebuttal as well.
We won the case. Mr. Amini's preparation complemented his abilities, even working through a holiday the day before trial. I think he really enjoys winning.
As I said, the second case was relatively simple, but it was more important to me and needed to be dealt with quickly (in about a day). I don't know what Mr. Amini had on his calendar when I called, but he was able to work it in and scale back his approach to what was appropriate. Another thing to consider was that the "opposition" was not hostile and could be trusted. Mr. Amini was able to provide reasonable advice, represent me and get what I wanted without alienating anyone.
I feel like I made a new friend. This is just a great guy to have on your side. But look at that photo. Look at that Spock-like exterior. That's what he's like in person when he's working on your case. He's all business, not someone you would want to go up against.

For anyone who is unsure about seeking legal aid, my first choice would be to send them to Alex's practice. He's especially skilled when it comes to putting a situation in layman's terms and easing the mind of an average Joe. It's something that can soothe anyone's intimidation of the legal process, and give you more confidence. If you're honest, explain your situation, and help him by keeping all your details sorted, then he should be able to help you knock the issue out.
In my opinion, the true measure of any legal practitioner's merit is their ability to apply it in any situation necessary. Anyone can find a dusty bitter old attorney who is painfully adept in the courts, but is devoid of any compassion. It's almost impossible to find an attorney who is just as skilled but can also serve as an emissary for those who are downright daunted.
I was super relieved after receiving his help, and am very grateful for the peace of mind I now have. I've always had a bit of a phobia regarding the courts and dealing with lawyers, but thankfully I've found an honest and relatable practitioner that I know I can trust. I don't often run into any situations where I can utilize his assistance, but I never hesitate to send my friends and colleges his way whenever they're in a bind.
Long story short, go see Alex. He's a really cool dude and knows his stuff!

To whom it may concern:
John Jacks represented my wife and I in a lawsuit against our builder. I’ve had many dealings with other attorneys and other firms through the years both in a personal and in a professional capacity. I can’t say enough kind words about John nor can I proclaim enough accolades regarding his services. Instead, here are the material facts that I think most appropriately differentiate John from other attorneys:
1) Responsiveness and Customer Service: Rarely did my phone calls (which often occurred daily) go to voicemail and when they did, he almost always called me back before he left for the day. For me this is very important because in my dealings with other attorneys, I’ve always been made to feel like my business wasn’t appreciated and that my calls were unimportant. It’s the complete antithesis with John, and I’m grateful for this.
2) Practicality. John guided us through the process, always with any eye toward the “end game.” Where I might have wanted to pursue a different course, he helped me consider the cost-benefit of the course and adjust our strategy accordingly. To this end he would often consider my ideas for strategy and was never arrogant or dismissive. He was always resourceful, never hesitating to get 2nd and even 3rd opinions from within or outside his firm, hence, he was also seeking out the best strategy.
(3) Aggressiveness. Our builder like many others was as slick as they come, a true deviant with a sophisticated criminal mind. John recognized this early on when problems began to arise. Fortunately for us he had the foresight to pen agreements with the builder so that if anything went awry, as they did, the builder would be personally liable, negating any protections that would have otherwise been afforded to him through his sham construction company. John is a nice guy, soft spoken, personable and kind but don’t let his pleasant demeanor fool you. When it comes time to contest something—in our case, arbitration—John is as tough as they come. In our case, John sought and obtained an arbitration award that included findings for fraud, deceptive trade practices, and several other causes of action, with an award of punitive damages, as well all attorney fees.
(4) Preparedness. John brought in expert witnesses and compiled evidence binders over 200 pages thick. I was frankly in awe. During the arbitration hearing, the builder was lying and contradicting the testimony he gave in his deposition. I exaggerate not in pointing out that John called this builder out on every instance, always prefaced with “let’s go back to you deposition, page …”. John ran circles around this conman and when doing so, only then did I realize how John had anticipated his responses, evidenced by the very questions he had previously asked during the deposition. It’s no exaggeration when I say that during the arbitration, John already new exactly where to turn to in the transcripts!
(5) Reputation. While I have only my experience to go on, it appeared to me that John is well respected by his colleagues in the legal profession, including judges, mediators, arbitrators, and opposing counsel. John was courteous and respectful throughout, and his professional colleagues were respectful and courteous in return and treated him as the honest and ethical attorney he is.

When I first met John, I was worried because my ex-husband had hired a very well known lawyer from Bell Co who has a reputation for raking people of the coals. I was fooled! John is a very polite gentleman with proper manners and ethics. Do not let that fool you. He is a hard worker, very knowledgeable and trustworthy lawyer. I was so emotional during this time, but John was so patient with me. He encouraged me and gave me great advice along the way. He also reminded me he was looking out for me and was going to get me the very best settlement.
John worked late hours and on weekends preparing for court, deposition and mediation. He did not put up with Carol Prater's rude and sarcastic attitude during these meetings. John is very strong at advocating when we went to court and also when we went to mediation. He is a strong negotiator. The end results I received a very good settlement.
The firm of Gray and Becker are so lucky to have John along with his legal assistant Susan Jennings. Susan has taken my calls on weekends and helped me though a few bumps in the road. Not just with getting John informed but to talk me though a melt down or 2!!!
I hope whoever reads this never goes though a devastating divorce like I have, but if you do John is on all levels the person to call. He did not want to just keep dragging this on unnecessarily to trail just for extra money and the extra emotional stress on me. Which is what the other lawyer, Carol was hoping to do.
John traveled to Williamson Co. for court and mediation. Thank you John for all you have done. At this time, I see a new path in my future. I can not thank him and say enough about his good hard work.

Hayden was instrumental in getting the best outcome possible, all charges were dismissed! I was facing very serious criminal charges and never having faced any criminal charges before, he informed me of all that I was up against and all the possible outcomes. Jason Rew-Hunter was my lawyer for my case and this was my first offense and I was scared and not sure what to do... I was reverend to Jason by an attorney friend of mine that went to law school with him. She was unable to take my case as I was with her that night and it would have been a conflict of interest. I was arrested by CP police for DWI after passing all their field sobriety test. Jason was able to get my whole case dismissed and thrown out. I had a gun in the car and they took that. It was also a felony charge being a CHL holder and having a gun while intoxicated is illegal but he was able to get my gun back and have all charges dropped. I highly recommend him!

Barbara was on my original divorce case in 2012 and has recently represented me on a enforcement issue around child support. She really knows her stuff and does not give false hope about the situation. However, she is also very kind, compassionate and really cares about what happens with the kids in these situations. My case on it's face looked very straightforward but it turned out to be very difficult and time consuming. She stuck with me through 3 difficult mediations and always had her eye on the final outcome. There's a myth as one searches for a great family lawyer that in order to get results, you have to hire a bad *** - who will treat your former spouse (and probably you) like dirt, but it will be worth it because you will get results. Joe is proof that you can work with a fantastic, caring human being and still get the tough negotiation skills needed to get the results you desire.

I found Brian Hall online when our company in Chicago was a victim of cybersquatting by a party outside of the United States. We could not have made a better choice. Don't know what we would have done if it hadn't been for Sean. You never really think about not knowing any lawyers until you need one. Never having needed one, I was very much out of my element. Sean was recommended by another lawyer. We live in a small East Texas town and Sean was 3 & 1/2 hours away in Austin. But, since the hearing would be a ZOOM call, I figured it didn't matter how far away he was. He worked with me, dealt with my crying episodes, of which there were many, and helped my husband, me and our witnesses prepare for the hearing. He was there for us even after the hearing was over until we were able to get my husband home. My husband was arrested due to a 15 year old Blue warrant for technical stuff. Totally crazy situation. I hope we're never in the situation where we need a Parole lawyer again, but if we do, Sean will be the first person we call. We would highly recommend Sean.
