Dennis Brislawn is an exceptional lawyer. He is very professional and he helped me with a difficult problem I was having with a suppressor I bought while I was living in Washington state. I purchased the Bronze level trust of the GUNDOCX Trust system (which Mr. Brislawn created ) in November of 2012 and was approved by the BATFE and received my stamp in May 2013. My husband took a job transfer to Texas and we moved before I could get my suppressor so I applied for a form 20 to transport the suppressor. Things became more difficult for me when the dealer I bought the item from lost their FFL. For several months I tried to get the matter taken care of and it became more difficult since the dealer could not help me . I could do nothing on my own. Then I contacted Dennis around April of this year to see if he could help. He made phone calls and advised me on how he could handle things. He also updated my trust from the Bronze level to a Silver level since I now reside in Texas. I flew to Washington state this June and I was finally able to get my suppressor. Dennis was able to accomplish so much in a short period of time. He is very thorough and he gets the job done

Without Dennis Brislawn, I wouldn't have been able to fulfill a childhood dream of owning a suppressor. I put the wheels in motion back in February of 2013 when I created a trust and applied for the stamp. About 10 months later, the ATF finally approved it and I raced down to my local dealership to pick it up. Unfortunately, during those 10 months, I fulfilled another childhood dream of changing my legal name and this barred me from getting the suppressor since it was for the trust with my former name. I had zero legal experience and no idea what to do. I even considered just eating the cost of the stamp, getting my money back, and abandoning this goal from my bucketlist. Thankfully, I got in touch with Dennis who walked me through the whole process. Received help reviewing a family partnership and a power of attorney document to determine if I understood what each document said as there were multiple family members involved with differing points of view. The discussions were very contentious and so it was important that I correctly understand the options available to me. There were and remain delicate issues as family matters involving property and aging parents often are. The family partnership document was particularly challenging. Diane reviewed both documents carefully and then laid out the information in a way that a non-lawyer could understand. Phone calls were productive and her turn around time in summarizing the call and the information was nothing short of amazing. She is highly skilled, knowledgeable in her field and straightforward and honest in her assessment of the situation as spelled out in the documents. She is also kind and takes to time to get to know you. I felt that I was a person and that I mattered. I would absolutely recommend her.

We want to express our deepest gratitude to Courtney Bhatt for her recent work on a complex special education issue in a rural school district in the greater Seattle area. Our gentle, autistic child was in a miserable kindergarten situation in which she was repeatedly intimidated, humiliated and punished for autistic behaviors (including an inability to express herself verbally) by untrained staff assistants and a classroom teacher who inexplicably refused to fully incorporate the advice of autism experts. All polite attempts we made to address these issues ourselves failed. Add to this scenario a principal with a history of secretive behavior and a district special education director who routinely bullies and intimidates staff, students and parents. It was an absolute mess and our young child suffered greatly—physically, mentally, and emotionally. Moreover, the district placed our child and her disabled peers in a moldy classroom which sickened our child (as well as other children and staff) and then steadfastly refused to address the issue in a timely or thorough manner.
The good news is that all this changed when Courtney entered the equation. Courtney has polite, soft-spoken mannerisms but is firm and very authoritative. She sorted through the multiple violations of special education law and obtained a formal mold testing. This testing confirmed the existence of black mold and above average levels of several other types of mold in a few classrooms, including our daughter’s. Courtney skillfully navigated the unprofessional and unethical behaviors of two district administrators and certain school staff. She quickly negotiated a new school placement for our daughter with a compassionate teacher who understands autism. Additionally, Courtney was instrumental in crafting a new IEP with goals and accommodations which made sense for our daughter.
Moreover, Courtney always actively listened to our many concerns regarding the matter. She always made time for us. Courtney is clearly a brilliant attorney who knows the law. Her responses to emails and phone calls were lightning-fast and she treated us with the utmost respect and regard.
Thanks to Courtney's intervention, our daughter's natural joy has returned and she finished her school year in an autism-friendly school with clean air! Our child is looking forward to returning to that same school in the fall. Courtney's work was so much more than just "legal help." Her advocacy on our daughter's behalf had a profound impact on a disabled child's QUALITY OF LIFE. We do not say this lightly. Special education lawyers advocate for so much more than just a good school setting or a decent IEP, they are advocating for the quality of life of some of the most vulnerable, innocent children in society who cannot speak for themselves.
We are forever grateful to Courtney for her strong moral compass and her skilled, compassionate advocacy on our daughter's behalf. It made all the difference in the life of one small child. Thank you, Courtney.

Keaton helped us navigate a dispute with the builder of our custom home. Upon completion of our home, our builder said that there were cost overruns that were going to cost us an additional $60k, then $75k, then $90k, after assuring us a month before that we were going to "be close" to the budget. After getting my DUI and navigating the uncharted waters of endless attorneys I found Christopher. After speaking with him the first time I knew I was going to hire him and told him shortly after that same day. He's genuine, down to earth and charged a very fair price. What can I say?...he went to bat for me. He continuously pushed for the results we were focused on with the City of Seattle prosecutor. We got the results we wanted and I can't be more thankful. Christopher kept me in the loop on what to expect and what had or hadn't transpired. He was transparent throughout the process and let me know what I could do to be ahead of the game and proactive. It was my first DUI w/ a refusal greater than +.15 BAC. I had 2 prior alcohol related offenses on my record and we were able to get it reduced down to a DUI no test. Originally the prosecutor wanted 2yrs ignition interlock, 2 days in jail plus 30 days electronic home monitoring and 5 years bench probation. However, Chris was able to get it down to 1 year ignition interlock, 30 days electronic home monitoring and no probation. He was honest enough to tell me as well that I had a refund coming my way per our contractual agreement. Something that I didn't even know. Hire him should you have the opportunity.

Ms. Efimova takes care of her clients in a complex immigration process with extreme diligence and care. I first met Shanika at an event for startup companies at Bellevue City Hall and was immediately impressed with the amount of passion she obviously has towards fostering business growth. She was hands on in providing information to the community on the front lines. Unlike most law firms I worked with in the past, she alone was on the business battlefield (if you will) hashing out structural support.
Since then I have made it a point to have her informed on my business dealings and have brainstormed many projects with her present. She has personally went through all the Corporate forms with me, skyped, and even helped give support in phone conferences.

I initially reached out to Ken during a difficult time and he was extremely friendly and helpful during our initial consultation. While I already had a different attorney at the time, the experience left a positive impression on me.
Fast forward a couple of years later, I needed an immigration attorney for my wife's green card so reached back out to Ken; and am I glad I did. He is extremely responsive, answers questions more thoroughly than most attorney's I've worked with, and is just an overall joy to work with. I'm now working with him a second time to remove conditions on my wife's green card and he's still just as great to work with.
Interestingly enough, I could have gone through my company's immigration law firm free of charge (one of the largest immigration law firms in the world), but I tried working with them and it was clear they were just not on top of things the way Ken was. So I happily paid out of my own pocket (Ken's rates are very reasonable) to hire him. Sometimes, it's better to just work with a local attorney with a personal touch.

I've been wanting to get my affairs in order for awhile...but didn't know where to start. Zach was a tremendous help. He asked me to complete a questionnaire and then met with me to review my estate and wishes. In a few weeks, Zach drafted my will, health directive, POA and Medical POA. They were perfect!
