Charles is an excellent lawyer. He did a great job for me. He was knowledgeable, explained the process to me, but was most important to me is that he kept posted and updated on the case. I hired Charles 4 months ago for a criminal matter I had in Brooklyn, (fight with my ex-worker). He was professional and courteous. He answered all my questions and explained to me what the process was about, and what I should expect and what was going to happen next. Charles has a warm personality and a good heart. He is very bright and I saw when he walked into court everyone respected him. What I liked best about him is that he returned my calls promptly, as soon as he was out of court. The case will be dismissed in six months, (ACD) as long as I pay the 135.00 medical bill and stay away from the ex-worker for 6 months as well. I was very satisfied that the case will be dismissed and I will have no criminal record. We went to court two times. I’m taking the time to write this because Charles is a great lawyer and I want him to have a lot of business. You will not be sorry if you hire him. He is aggressive, in a respectful way. Thank you.

I hired Mr. Belgrave last year when other lawyers didn't want to take my case or their fee surpassed what I could pay. This case was from 2000 Real Estatate transaction and my original lawyer quit because I couldn't afford to maintain him. I spent thousands with no relief before meeting Mr Belgrave. Within my 13 years in the US I had dealt with many lawyers, including criminal, immigration and this time IP. I was hesitant to hire a woman because I tend to think that male attorneys do a better job. I decided to give it a try and I cannot be happier with my choice.
Elena is a top notch lawyer and she delivered prompt responses on questions I had and provided me services I requested from her.
She was also not pushy about payments and I thank her for the trust to a new client as my matter was somewhat urgent.
I hope I will not have to hire Elena again to the issues I had before with those scam providers I dealt with, but I hope to hire Elena for my other matters such as creating contracts and advising me with other things.

I found Jeff online in 2009 when I was looking for an intellectual property attorney to help me when my product was being counterfeited. Jeff got a judgment against the counterfeiter as well as getting trade dress protection of my product. Jeff also handled "take down" notices with auctions sites, video hosting sites and payment portals, effectively closing down the counterfeiter's operation. I have continued to use Jeff for trademark registrations and counsel. He is the ideal attorney for the small business owner - available, knowledgeable and with reasonable fees.

We highly recommend Mrs. Erika Hartley’s services without any reservation for any special needs children and their family, in need of competent and powerful representation. With Mrs. Hartley representing our autistic child, we handily won two back-to-back cases against the NYC Department of Education (DOE) for funding two years of private school education. And since we will have to sue every school year for the tuition funding, we feel very grateful and lucky to have her fighting on our side.
After receiving intensive ABA services as part the state’s Early Intervention program, our child was verbal and on a good academic track. After turning five years old, and five years into the District 75 program, our child regressed and flat-lined academically, lost the nascent verbal skills, regressed in potty training, and developed deeply concerning new behavior such as aggression, biting, and inappropriate self stimulation in school.
With the guidance of our parent’s advocate, we requested and obtained evaluations to be performed on our child at DOE expense. We did not even know our child had those rights. A neuropsychological evaluation report stated that placement in a focused program such as ABA or DIR in a specialized school, should be considered for our child. When we brought it up in the consequent meeting with the school, the school stated it could not provide either, but had what our child needed.
After another disappointing academic year, it was time to bring a big caliber gun to the negotiation table, and our advocate introduced us to Mrs. Hartley. With her assistance, we gave the DOE proper notice, and filed a petition to place our child into a private school with a DIR focused program at DOE expense. Within the first year at the new school, our child’s behavioral issues and their sensory root cause were addressed and regulated. The DOE settled to fund the second year for failing to initiate an IEP, but refused to fund the first school year’s tuition, contending that we were uncooperative, and placing our child into a private school was unwarranted. This led to the impartial hearing.
In preparation, Mrs. Hartley went over years of documents we sent her, and worked with us on drafting the parents’ affidavits. With her input on what details were relevant and needed to be included, the new school’s affidavit went from a one page statement to a booklet. Mrs. Hartley dotted the “i”s and crossed the “t”s until everything was airtight, and it paid-off.
From the beginning of the impartial hearing, we were noticeably better prepared than the other party. At the height of the COVID pandemic, Mrs. Hartley made sure that the hearing officer and other relevant parties had the necessary documents ahead of time, properly formatted. The hearing officer commented as such out of frustration, while chiding the other party’s attorney for not being able to do the same with the vast resources of the DOE at her disposal. Subsequently, Mrs. Hartley proceeded to execute what Elon Musk calls a “Rapid Unscheduled Disassembly” of the DOE’s arguments. She methodically squeezed answers out of the DOE’s witnesses that strengthened our case, while respectfully but aggressively shielding us against any discrediting attempts by the DOE’s attorney.
The impartial officer’s final ruling fully vindicated everything we fought for. When we hired Mrs Hartley’s services, we got a lot more than a seasoned attorney. We were also blessed with a steadfast ally who genuinely cared and had a personal stake in helping our child. Thank you Mrs. Hartley!

My experience with Reuben Fuller-Bennett and James Fishman has been extremely positive. They are pros to the nth degree. Although James successfully resolved a personal landlord-tenant matter for me and my wife a number of years ago, my recent commercial landlord-tenant case added Reuben to the team. Reuben’s attention to detail and recall over a period of more than nine months was astonishing. He arranged the salient facts, dates, correspondence, affidavits, etc. in a clear, precise manner. Organized and immediately accessible. Reuben constantly kept in touch regarding dates of motions, deadlines, appearances etc.
My specific case revolved around a determination as to whether I had a lease or not based upon email communication with my landlord. Reuben’s research and analysis were the basis of the success of my claim resulting in a substantial reward in my favor. Without hesitation, I whole-heartedly recommend Reuben Fuller-Bennett.

i needed help with a residential lease. I was concerned that I might lose my apartment. I wasn't sure how I would fight corporate greed. I contacted a number of lawyers. I wasted a lot of time with lawyers playing a bait and switch game. They said we could settle for one amount and then said it would have to go to court , for an unknown cost.
Rueben helped me. He projected cost honestly. He didn't switch up to exact more money from the situation. Time is still money. He was efficient with his hours and helped me provide the information that was needed. He was able to back the corporation off and they rescinded there initial threat. This was all done without having to go to court. I would highly recommend Reuben to anyone needing help with residential legal matter.

I first met Reuben Fuller-Bennett when I went in to meet James Fishman after I received a notice that the lease for my rent stabilized apartment would not be renewed. Reuben was one of James’s associates who would be assisting on this matter. I knew I was in great hands with James, and I quickly realized I was in great hands with Reuben as well.
We had discussed what documentation I should provide to help my case, and immediately after our meeting Reuben sent me an email outlining each and every item we discussed, and of he offered ideas and suggestions as to how to obtain certain other documents. He stressed each and every item’s importance for my case. I could tell he was truly on my side professionally as well as personally.
I sent Reuben the documentation as I had it, and he provided me with updates as to what he had/what we were still waiting for. He was very organized and on top of everything.
Reuben responded to every question I had along the way, and he did so very quickly. He was very knowledgeable on cases like mine. He was very positive about my case, and when I was getting nervous he assured me that our case was strong and not to worry. He kept James copied on every e-mail exchange, and deferred to James to answer a question when he was not 100% sure on an answer.
Both James and Reuben kept me informed as to the progress of what was happening. James is the one who let me know that the landlord would be renewing my lease, and I could not have been more grateful and thankful for the work done by him and of course Reuben.
I am confident that anyone who works with Reuben will have the same positive experience as I had. I hope to never be in the situation I was in again, but if I am – I know I will be in great hands with Reuben. I highly recommend him.

I went to Ms. Latkovskaia to have my will done. I don't like or trust lawyers in general and have had bad experiences in the past. This experience was completely different. Our consultation was lengthy, friendly and informative. I had not committed to paying her anything but she treated me like I was a VALUED client, even though I had just met her that day. I ended up not only getting my will done but I brought in my wife and got her's too. And at a later time we had a trust creatived to protect our assets and our children's future. I still call Ms. Latkovskaia from time to time for advise. She has always been prompt, professional and someone who tells me the truth, NOT just what I want to hear. I had a bad accident in July of 2010. My leg was broken in five places. I was heliported to the hospital and needed three surgeries over 18 months. Thank god I hired John to handle my case. Mr. Grant represent me in a state tax audit matter. Mr. Grant was able to present the facts to the NC Dept. of Revenue that I did not owe them $20,000 plus in unpaid taxes. I was recommended from a co-worker. i can truely said Mrs. Burke is beyond a Lawyer she is a blessing sent from heaven. I was charged for a crime and i had two lawyers.
