I had an issue with my wedding videographer. We hired them to film our wedding back in August 2016 and our contract had stated a finished film would be completed by October 31, 2016, It was March 2017 and after countless emails to the person, I gave up and needed some professional help.
I spoke with Brian about my situation. He had me email the contract to him so he could review and told me there was a breech of contract. He offered to call the videographer for me. The next day, Brian sent me an email letting me know that he was able to get in touch with the guy and got him to commit to an ECD as to when the film would be sent to me.
Brian checked in on me a few days after the film was due to make sure I got it. I was not happy with the final product from our videographer and talked to Brian about possible steps I could take if I wanted to sue him. After some advice I got from Brian, I decided the damages were too little for me to sue and stress out about.
Brian was very helpful and supportive throughout the entire ordeal. He was easy to work with and provided great advice.

Limited to 4000 characters? Stephanie knows this is going to be difficult.
Ms. Rikeman came into my case late as I was taking care of this myself. Was doing OK but when a couple of other items came up that I knew were going to require something beyond my capacity - I sought out legal counsel and was fortunate to find Stephanie and have her accept my case.
Stephanie is very knowledgable and will pursue your case tenaciously. She has integrity and is absolutely honest - something I thought you only used as a punchline when speaking about an attorney. I was pleasantly surprised to have my faith restored in the legal system and all of that can be attributed to Ms. Rikeman. If you are hiring Stephanie you should be much the same. She will work within the framework of the law. Not that she won't look down every avenue in winning your case but if you are looking for someone that is a little shady ... then there are plenty of those out there. Stephanie will win your case doing what is right and just.
Stephanie is diligent in her work. Don't be surprised to get an email from her at 9:00PM ... on a Saturday. She is a work-a-holic. Sometimes that isn't always a good thing, but considering she is working for you - then it is very good. It is a work ethic you don't often see anymore. It needed to be done so she gets it done. Sometimes that is from 9-5, sometimes that isn't enough. Unlike other attornies that will shrug that off and come in the office the next day or the next week or whenever - don't be surprised when you get that late email.
Very early on Ms. Rikeman made a suggestion for my case that I really questioned. I didn't see that there was much benefit to it and there was an additional cost associated with it as well and I was already short on funds with everything else going on. Even after speaking with the person that she suggested I was still hesitant that it would help my case and there was even the chance that it would hurt my case. In the end I put trust into Stephanie and went with her suggestion - outside of retaining her it was the best decision I made. In retrospect let me simply say this; you are hiring Ms. Rikeman for her knowledge and expertise, take it! She isn't making a suggestion to make someone else money and it damn sure isn't going into her pocketbook. She is suggesting you do something to make your case have a better chance at success. OF course she can't guarantee it always goes as well as mine, but if she didn't think it was a good idea with a higher probility of success then she isn't going to mention it to you.
Now then as far as money and all of that - again I find Ms. Rikeman to be very fair and honest. Her business practice itself is set up well and is absolutely fair in the manner that she has it. I would reccomend though that you hire Stephanie immediately - she is severly underpaying herself. At some point in time she will come to realize what I did quite awhile ago - that she is an awesome attorney and a lot better than the majority of the competition - yet the competition charges significantly more than she does. I know the explanation she gives and this isn't one of those, "Well for the money she is damn good". The fact of the matter is that she is better than damn good - getting her service for what she charges is the bonus.
Well 254 characters left - I easily have enough to go on for another 4000 characters - Stephanie will know this is true.If you are still looking for an attorney and you have gotten to this point then I have to ask, "What the hell are you waiting on?" Call her now and get this going, make the best decision you are going to make in a long time and be confident in the decision you made.

I had a complex and unusual case - two car accidents within 4 months (neither were my fault). I don't take any medications and advocate for my own healthcare - so hadn't seen an MD until just before the 2nd accident happened.

I was referred to Jeremy by a coworker who experienced a similar situation. I was injured in a car wreck, which caused back injuries and repairs to my vehicle. Jeremy set up doctors consultations for me and made the process easy. He was also in constant contact with the insurance companies to cover the expenses of the doctor visits and replacement of the door to my car. I went in to the appointment with Mr. Shaw, and was a nervous wreck. I knew in my heart I had a great case, but just the stress of knowing someone out there wants to sue is very stressful. I told Mr. Shaw my problem, presented all my facts with evidence. He explained exactly what was going to happen, and gave me an informed choice to make. I told him what I wanted to happen and he told me his plan. Mr. Shaw assured me that things were going to work out and that I did in fact have a strong case. With in just a few days, I was informed that the suite had been dropped and in fact was getting 100% of my deposits back on the property in question. Kevin Major is a fantastic person and it translates into his work as a lawyer. When I needed the services of a lawyer, I searched and interviewed many potential candidates. I didn't have a lot of money and I didn't want to hire somebody who was an unfeeling, cutthroat lawyer. Although I didn't want to have to go through the particular situation I was in, I also wasn't interested in destroying the other party. Kevin's approach to my case was exactly the same as mine, and that's why I hired him. In a court system that doesn't always make much sense, filled with sharks and others who want to do you wrong, Kevin rises above the fray and gives a person reason to continue believing in the system. Against ridiculous odds, the outcome of my case was more favorable to me than I could have imagined -- I attribute that to some kind of good karma based on his common sense approach and desire to seek-out right from wrong without wanting to inflict undue harm on any parties. I am very satisfied with the work that Alex McShiras performed in my case. The efficiency and professionalism of his work is what I like the most. The attorney Alex fought hard to get good results and win my case. I hired Alex during the summer of 2014 to do my BIA appeal. My former lawyer was not very professional and so I was pleasantly surprised. Alex was professional from day one. He communicated effectively and clearly. The other lawyer told us there was no hope and that I should give up and go back to Mexico.
Alex told us that he could appeal the case and although he could not guarantee a result, he would work hard to win the case. He delivered on his promise. I was hit by an uninsured drunk driver back in 2002. I was seriously injured and had to go to the emergency room.
Even though I had $100,000.00 in medical insurance through my auto insurance, they wouldn't pay for the ambulance or the emergency room or the treatment that I got after the accident. They kept saying that they didn't get the forms from me even though I sent them to them several times.
Eventually I got taken to collections because of the unpaid bills. McCormick and Murphy sued my insurance company for not paying my bills and it went to a jury trial where a jury awarded me over $974,000.
The judge then added interest to what the jury awarded and he entered a judgment in my favor in the amount of $1,348,693.86. McCormick and Murphy did a terrific job for me.

Thomas Herd in the start in June first of July came to the hospital to see me while I was in a critical state spoke with me and my wife about the very bad motorcycle accident that I was involved in. From the start he asked all the right questions and was very patient when questioning me as to what led up to my injury's.
The accident happened in June 2014 and that is when we hired Mr. Herd.
He advised us and answered our questions and he and the office staff treated us with great respect at all times.
Mr. Herd also monitored my recovery with visit to the hospital and a open door policy that was extended to me and my wife. We felt the real concern he had for me and my family. He dealt with the legal issued involved and got satisfactory results in dealing with the other lawyers in this case as well as the insurance company's. This gave great comfort to my wife who was trying to nurse me back to health monitor my Dr.'s appointments ,the when and the where not to mention the who.
Mr. Herd office helped with who had to be paid. It was a huge relief, the supports staff in this was awesome!
In closing I would like to say God must have sent Herd to us, because of experience and attention to detail my wife and I are getting on with our lives and not living in fear of a bill collector knocking on our door.
At one point I almost lost my leg and was told I would not be able to walk any more.
I not only walk, I can almost keep up with my grandkids.
I am still in therapy , and thanks to all the medical persons and one fine lawyer quality of life is good a lot in part to Mr. Herd
If you are reading this you should be so to hire him I am sure you will be elated, the concern and attention to detail and fine staff that helped me and my family.

Catherine's expertise and confidence in Elder Law was extremely helpful in this emotionally trying situation. She was able to hit the ground running and was able to negotiate several situations with the opposing lawyer and reach an acceptable settlement that will help my father's future needs.
Catherine also negotiated with the other lawyers to find a Conservator that I feel is trustworthy in handling my father's money.

My experience with Wes, started when I had been placed on administrative leave while serving as a Civilian Government employee. The reason was due to a positive urinalysis for marijuana. I was searching for an attorney that could assist me in my defense and the one I contacted directed me to Wes. I met him in his office, we discussed my situation, which was dire, because of the stigma that marijuana has with the government. I told him that I had not knowingly used and that I believed that I had somehow been exposed while at a birthday party at a friend’s house. This is what I also told my leadership at the time and they flat out did not believe me. The government’s view was that I was guilty and did not deserve a chance to prove it.
I appealed my proposed removal to the Merit Systems Protection Board (MSPB). Which is in place to hear and decide discrepancies for government employees. This process is lengthy and does not move quickly. While awaiting my appeal, I was removed from my position and had to find other employment while my case moved through system. Wes was there with me 100%. We stayed in constant contact, and he allowed me to assist in my own defense. We both researched case law that would support my defense. He did not dismiss my attempts to assist in my defense but welcomed it. We both knew that we were in an uphill battle against the government and that chances were slim that we would be successful. He in no way disillusioned me or gave me false hope that we would come out victorious but he did work hard mounting a defense that we could bring forth in court. I keep saying we because he made me feel that I was not alone in my battle and that I was a part of my defense.
He never pressured me about payment, and we work out an amicable fee, that I could afford based on my financial situation. When the time came to appear in court, Wes was very prepared and ensure that I was also prepared for the assault that the government would launch against my past, my career and my integrity. It was determined that my case was the first case in Colorado concerning a Civilian government employee accused of illegally using marijuana. With the legalization of marijuana in Colorado, we knew that this would be an uphill battle, but Wes had done some outstanding research and we were as prepared as we could possibly be. He presented our case to the Administrative Judge, and we won! As a result, I was awarded full restoration to my position, back pay, and attorney’s fees based on the Judge’s decision. The argument that Wes presented forced the government to change their regulation concerning the charging of civilians for misuse of illegal substances.
If you are looking for an attorney that will be upfront with you and go to the mat for you, Wes is the attorney that you want. He is relentless in his defense of his clients and will do everything possible to ensure that you are “defended.” He saved my career, and afforded me an opportunity to move forward with my life. I was facing 11 yrs in a military court. Almost everyone on my installation and my unit was against due to lies and rumors, no one knew the facts. I didn't feel comfortable with my attorney given to me by the military(Because of lack of experience). I called around and I was running into lawyers who wanted $100 just to talk to me and give me a quote. I had one law firm say I would need to pay $10,000 and another $10,000 before trail. I was overwhelmed with stress. Then I was referred to Wes by another law firm who I initially contacted. The first time I called him he made me feel completely comfortable, It was clear he wasn't all about money. We met face to face at my house talked about my case to see if he could help me. He told me he didn't want me to waste my money if he could not help me, that is the first time I have ever heard that from a lawyer. Even though he said I had a good case, I knew right then weather he could help me or not I was going to hire him based off integrity alone. we came to agreement on cost for his services and he started right away. he questioned every one, He never stopped even the days leading up to my trial he continued to get more beneficial things to help me win my case. for a little over a year I called him and texted him everyday, he returned every single text and call. He never seemed like he was annoyed with me, he always had a great attitude. He also represented me on a child custody case which came out good because he talked to me and the mother of my son we reached agreements because we sat in his office and talked and we are doing great still almost a year later. You will never find a better lawyer or person to represent you. Id just like to say I can never thank him enough, I hope to never have to call him for legal troubles again. But if I do need legal representation, I will call him first without hesitation. He is one of the best lawyer I have ever met, Now I consider him a friend.

Its hard to find a good lawyer, I have wasted thousands over the years. Let me tell you why I believe Mr Gentry is the best in town. I had a warrant filed against me for renting a piece of equipment they said i never returned. I called 9 lawyers and they all told me the same thing. That my ONLY OPTION was to go turn myself in at the jail and pay bail($600) and then they could help me once it goes to court. I had a perfectly clean record and couldn't believe it so I kept calling. Mr. Gentry took care of the problem over the phone with minimal effort.
