Our son was recently named in an unfounded, false and potentially defamatory accusation. We consulted Mr. Laybourne to see what options may be available to us in the event this false accusation is filed.
Brad not only talked to my husband a couple of times on the phone, but was also willing to meet with us in person so I could receive some clarification and understand the situation better.
He spent quite a bit of time with us and at no point did I feel rushed through or patronized. I'm sure he hears about these situations every day.
Brad was highly professional, patient, yet personable and we could tell he understood by asking pertinent questions while we repeated our concerns over and over.

Joanna came as a strong recommendation from my SVP to replace a well-known Chicago based attorney group that had been sitting on my immigration case for years. She was so thorough, discovered that I was a great candidate for multiple visa types given my entrepreneurial background and, when I decided to leave my then employer, she was so professional in advising me of my options and safeguarding my interests just as well as she did those of my old company. I then retained her for my case and decided to self petition directly for the EB1A, a bold but scary move as I did not want to function at the mercies of my employers anymore. Even though she knew that my case was not fool proof, she took me on and helped craft an incredibly strong case.
The most important quality she presented through this work was being consistent and knowing just the right things to say when I got tired, frustrated and discouraged as I was looking for hyper-specific evidence that some organizations would not release to me. And unlike other attorney groups that would judge and self-select text book cases, she knew my desperation, advised me accordingly and when I made my decisions -- still put forth her best effort to make sure my case was solid. I continue to use her now that my EB1A I-140 is approved, and plan to continue to use her for all my immigration needs until I have citizenship. She is such a keeper and her work ethic/dedication to me and my case remains unbelievable!!

Ms Lentini has an excellent knowledge of the immigration process, and she can convey it clearly for the non-specialist. She has handled my process very smoothly. It took about two years between starting the process and receiving the notice for permanent residency (as an applicant in the expert category from a country that doesn't have a lot of applicants). Ms Lentini and her team are very reactive on emails, phone calls, etc. It's been a pleasure working with her and I would recommend her for immigration-related matters.

I am so glad I got a lawyer! I was fighting with the insurance company for three months before I took a chance and hired them! Trying to get better from an accident that I wasn’t at fault for, going to school, and battling the insurance company was all too much for me! After suffering fracture of my spinal cord resulting from being hit a careless car-driver while I was riding my bicycle, a defense litigator recommended Gary Craw. I am glad I followed the recommendation.
I would have been overwhelmed without Gary’s help. I have no independent memory of the accident or of my first days in the hospital. I had neither the memory nor the strength to have done what Gary and his legal assistant did for me and my wife:
Gary developed an effective negotiating strategy that we followed. He advised that I should have patience as we went through the process so I could focus on recovering my health. His legal assistant oversaw payment of, and receipt of reimbursements for. all my medical and related expenses. Gary handled all the negotiations with both the driver’s and my insurance companies. They put together the settlement offers, including gathering all necessary documentation such as expenses and reimbursements, police reports, eye witness statements and an expert report.
He and his legal assistant were sympathetic, professional and courteous to my wife and me. I was involved in a car accident in 2014 where I was injured by a driver who ran a red light. I had never been injured in a car accident before, and had no idea where to turn. I received Gary's name from another attorney, and knew I wanted to hire him the first time I met with him. I did interview 2 different attorneys for my case, and after my appointment with Gary, I knew which attorney to put my trust in. I have NEVER regretted that decision. My injuries did require extensive physical therapy and shoulder surgery, with more physical therapy. The case was open for over 3 years, and Gary as well as his paralegal, Tresa, followed up with me constantly to check on the status of my recovery, and also to keep track of all of my medical expenses, as well as time away from work. I felt that Gary was always accessible, responsive to any questions or concerns I had, and the utmost professional. These cases can be long, tedious, and so very stressful. Gary (and his paralegal Tresa- GREAT TEAM) always took the time to explain the process to me, and address ANY concern I had. I have NEVER regretted hiring Gary to represent me in this case. It took over 3 years, but a fair settlement was reached, and I feel I can move on with my life. I would recommend Gary without reservation.

I was in a pedestrian accident in 2014 and suffered multiple fractures, a laceration of the spleen, and multiple abrasions. I had extensive medical bills and a long road ahead of me. Tami Mitchell is a life saver!!! I can say that because she saved my life.
I was falsely accused of numerous accounts of sexual assault in the military. I went to a courts-martial and was found guilty of several counts. Tami came recommended to handle my appeal. Once I spoke to her, I knew she was the lawyer for me. She read through the 1500+ page record of trial and presented a strong case for overturning my convictions. 18 months later, Tami’s excellent work paid off and my sexual assault convictions were overturned for factual insufficiency, which is the equivalent of an acquittal. I was able to get off the sex offender registration list.
My initial wrongful convictions caused additional legal issues for me, but Tami remained by my side each step of the way, assisting my appointed military counsel and other attorneys who were not familiar with the military justice process. Finally, after more than 5 years since my wrongful convictions, my family and I can finally get a good night's sleep, knowing our ordeal has finally concluded with positive results.
Tami's fees are very reasonable; she is worth every penny. Not only is Tami a great lawyer, she is a great person. As you can imagine, my life has been very stressful during this period. I highly recommend Knies, Helland & McPherson. Jenni (Helland) did an amazing job. My ex and her attorney were very antagonistic, liked to draw out the process, and did everything they could to drive up legal fees. Jenni was great in understanding what was happening and the likely outcomes or consequences. She avoided emotional arguments, and instead made sound legal ones. More importantly, she advised me when I was making an emotional decision and gave recommendations on what actions I could take that would be legally successful. Having someone in your corner that was willing to tell you what you needed to hear, instead of what you wanted to hear saved me thousands of dollars.
This is not a law firm that will needlessly drive up costs. For example, I was never charged for attorneys fees for anyone Jenni may have consulted with (this is a frequent tactic of less reputable law firms). I was never given a weekly 'update' that created billing hours even if nothing was happening in the case. Jenni never had me make needless discovery requests, subpoenas or motions that are typical and drive up costs.
I had a more experienced and higher hourly rate attorney than my ex, but my ex's legal fees were 30% higher because of all the shenanigans they played.
Jenni will give you the legal experience you need without driving up costs.

Several years ago this lawyer did an amazing job in getting me a settlement after a motorcycle accident, a hit and run also. He found the driver and sent me to several doctors to be taken care of. It also only took a couple months. Other lawyers told me it could take a year or more, but not with Mr.Collins. Since then he had represented my son and my wife, my mother in law and now a neighbor. Even when I wasn't being responsive Arra would call and text me with new ideas to help and sometimes just to make sure I was ok. We are long-time clients of Mr. Williams. He drafted wills and powers of attorney for me and my husband years ago, and it was time for an update. His staff scheduled us in right away. Mr. Williams reviewed the deed to our house to make sure it was titled right so we wouldn't have problems in the future. He talked to us about our assets, which had grown over the years, and ensured that we properly named beneficiaries on investment accounts. He explained the difference between a will and trusts, and we decided to keep it to wills. Mr. Williams helped guide us about where our property will go and who will handle our things when we pass away. He drafted our documents and took the time to hand-deliver drafts to our house, so we had plenty of time to review them before we signed them. At the signing, Mr Williams took us through all of the documents and explained them thoroughly. His paralegal made copies and put the originals and copies in a new portfolio, so our documents are together in one place. We are very pleased with the work he did and how he explained everything. He was very knowledgeable, professional and a pleasure to work with. We highly recommend this law firm.

Incompetent and rude. We requested Gordon to draw up a will and other documents. Upon our request, my wife asked to review documents for errors. Gordon stated he would email the documents to my wife, but he did not. Gordon made the simplest errors in even scheduling the meeting to sign the documents, which was a huge red flag. It gets worse. My wife sat down for approximately 30 seconds and found over a dozen errors in her documents and mine. Again, we were told we would get the documents prior to this meeting to review. This proved our point. While working with Gordon to fix the numerous errors he made, we kept finding more errors!!! For 350.00 we thought there was better quality. My wife stopped the meeting, and we refused to continue. While refusing, Godon became very rude and defensive of his own errors!!!!! Ridiculous!!!!! Complete waste of our time. Now, we have to find a competent attorney's office that can handle a simple last will and power of attorney paperwork. If I could give a negative rating, I would. These are facts, not opinions.

I was in a very tough situation. Going into sentencing and my lawyer had just resigned. After reading Ms. Shipley's reviews I decided to give her a call. What an amazing and compassionate lawyer! From the start she was straight forward and honest with me about what was going on while being compassionate and empathetic to my situation. When it came time for my sentencing she did an amazing job with her plea of probation instead of jail time. Though a little pricey for my limited budget it was worth every penny to have Ms. Shipley representing me. I just can't say enough excellent things about this Lawyer other than I wish I had gone with her from the start and maybe justice would have prevailed and my case would have been handled better.

Ms. McClintock provided very competent service to me. From the start of my case I felt like she genuinely was concerned and took a real interest in helping me. I never felt like I was just a client or number, but an individual that she wanted to help.
