The worst Atterney I could have ever chosen in my life. He left on vacation when my hearing was set. Then sent someone that didn’t have a clue hat was going on with my case. Worst mistake of my life as far as picking an Atterney. Huge mistake. He left when I needed him and paid him for. Then never answered. Huge mistake choosing Manny a Perez. Huge mistake. I happen to be one of those people that have been convicted of something g I did not do because I chose the wrong Atterney. At the end Manny told me I could just switch to another Atterney if I want after he took my money. Horrible experience. Don’t hire this guy. Hey tried to pursue me for additional money after he didn’t show up at my hearing. Horrible experience. I totally made a huge mistake by hiring Many Perez. The worst thing is that my mistake will now follow me for the rest of my life, from something that I am innocent of. He had no interest in my case at all. He left on vacation and ignored me while I stood in court alone. But charged me for that. Again. Huge mistake.

Terrible Experience – Very Aggressive and Unhelpful
I had a very disappointing experience with this firm. She was extremely aggressive in her communication and made me feel uncomfortable throughout the entire process. It was clear that she had no interest in helping me and seemed annoyed whenever I asked questions or needed clarification.
I went in expecting professional guidance but was met with hostility and a complete lack of empathy. I wouldn’t recommend this lawyer to anyone looking for genuine support and assistance.

THE ABSOLUTE WORST LAWYER I HAVE EVER CAME CONTACT WITH. Have been in a case with them for about two years and they have not filed a single file for me. For the past two years I’ve gotten billed monthly for absolutely nothing. ZERO. Do not trust these people. Take your business somewhere else. Besides the fact that they will bill you for doing nothing for you the main lawyer hung is an absolute disgrace to other lawyers. He is disrespectful and insulting. I found that Eddie was not only available but affable, and I could tell he is definitely able. His previous win for another surgeon who unfortunately had to go all the way to the court gave me a lot of confidence that he was going to be able to fight for me every step of the way.
We had quite a bit of push back from the very beginning, but he was able to guide me throughout the process and despite persistent pushbacks and demands from the insurance company, I was just told today that we finally got the approval! His assistant Sonya has also been excellent.
Getting the approval is way more difficult than I first imagined. I am so glad that I had Eddie to help me. I'll recommend him and his team without a hesitation

2013 was the worse and toughest year I had ever encountered. My family walk into jose office scared and confused just wondering if they would ever see me again. Jose was hired on the spot . In a matter of a couple of days jose was able to get me out of krome detention center. My journey began 2013 and ended august 2019. It was tough for me at times to try to keep it together but jose made me feel so comfortable. At times when I would go to my hearings I felt UNTOUCHABLE I felt like I had the incredible hulk right next to me. He is just simply the BEST at what he does hands down. You hear so many stories in life about lawyers but this man is just second to none. He is an Exceptional human being passionate about what he does and so loving and caring to help those in need. He is so detail oriented and determined. He take took my case on with great care. My life was a train wreck because of four years of abusive litigation and having been previously represented by incompetent lawyers. I felt to safe being advocated by him and he was able to turn things around and stop the bullying from my ex and his evil attorney. Thank you, William. Jen and Enrique treated my wife and I like family. They were available for us anytime we needed them. This included being on call the day of the appointment at the US embassy in London in the United Kingdom. My wife is British. She reported the CBP officials in the UK were so happy with her professional documentation, she was quickly moved through the embassy appointment.
We filed out of the Country for a resident visa. (Green Card). Due to current wait times, this took us a little over a year. Enrique is able to look at similar case times and provided notice in advance to set the initial expectations. He regularly followed up with updates. Filing outside of the Country still allows your spouse to work at home or come into the US on a separate approved visa or work visa. We chose this option as she already had employment with an America company.

It's rare to find anything good to say these days about virtually anything, but we have found an exception in the legal work of Steven Swartz, Esq. of Carballo Law, P.A.!
We were in a position of having to put through a travel insurance claim for our elderly parents' 6-week trip abroad that had to be cancelled due to a medical condition. The trip had been booked for mid July 2020 and we filed the claim in the beginning of May. For nearly four months we were stonewalled by the insurance company, who remained completely unresponsive to our numerous communications and then ultimately denied our claim outright... twice! We finally called Steven based on a personal recommendation, and right from our initial phone consultation we knew we had the right guy. He quickly ascertained the legitimacy of our position within the policy criteria, digested all the steps we had taken thus far, and turned out a 100-page detailed response including evidence and on-point legal citations that was followed up by the filing of a bad faith grievance with the Florida DFS and ultimately resulted in the payment of our claim... all in a little over a month! We could never have achieved such a successful outcome without him!
But more than just securing our claim, Steven was a true pleasure to work with. He was attentive, forthright and clear in all our dealings with him, addressing our myriad questions and concerns quickly, cordially and comprehensively – traits that unfortunately are not always readily found in attorneys these days. I live in Texas and received a speeding ticket while returning from Spring Break in Florida - doing 110 in a 70 mph zone, which makes things a lot worse in terms of fines and points since the speed was more than 35 mph higher than the speed limit. My fault and everything, road was very clear and I wasn't paying attention to the speedometer, and the device used was a laser gun. Also when stopped I had my old insurance papers (had just renewed it, but I forgot to print the new ones) so that was another ticket. I hired Estrella ticket defense since it would have been very difficult to fly or drive to Florida to attend the court date. They took care of everything for me and got the speeding ticket ruling to be "withheld adjudication", with no points or fines, paying only court fees; and for the insurance one they presented the proof of insurance and had the ticket dropped. The judge wanted me to pay court fees for the insurance citation, but they had the court fees dropped as well after filing a motion since I could prove I had valid insurance at the time of the citation, just didn't have the paperwork on me.
Overall I am very pleased with how they represented me in this matter and how they kept me informed. Their cost was high but this is due to the ticket nature, and were half that of another well reviewed firm on Avvo. Overall very pleased - hopefully i won't need them again, but if I do I, will definitely use them again.

I got a traffic ticket for something I felt was not my fault, and I lived out of the state it occurred in so I was not able to appear to represent myself. Rafael Millares' law firm took care of it for less than the cost of the ticket. So I'm pleased.
