I choose Gail to help me with a visitation petition. I first spoke with her on the phone and she was so empathetic to my situation and fully understood everything I was going through. Gail is absolutely the best of the best and has amazing skills for her profession. She was able to get me the results that I wanted! Gail is also an amazing woman who was there for me in my time of need! I absolutely recommend her to anyone that is going through a divorce or any family court manner. I wish I had found her years ago for my original divorce!

Mr. Elliot was spectacular as my lawyer. He was competent, friendly and the voice of reason during my divorce. Mike is the attorney of choice for us because he stood up for us and saw the closing to the finish line. My family has done several transactions over the decades and this one turned into a disaster with the buyers. Mike stood up and got us to the happy ending by being very tactful and knowledgeable of the closing laws in NY.

After meeting with severl bankruptcy-13 attorneys in 2013 I met Mr. Gelberg and decided it was a done deal. Mr. Gelberg had decades of experience, understood where I was coming from and where I wanted to be. I never thought in a million years I would have to declare bankruptcy but divorce, having a special needs son, losing my job left me no choice. I had to do everything in my power to save my home for my son's sake. Mr. Gelberg worked out a viable 5 year plan that was a stretch but I knew I could somehow achieve. My first meeting at the courthouse in Islip I was terrified but Mr. Gelberg had answers for the trustee to all questions that were asked . When questions were asked by the trustee directly to me, I would look at Mr. Gelberg and the tenseness would leave me. The balance of meetings that I had to appear with Mr. Gelberg in court, Mr. Gelberg was outstanding. You see other people with their lawyers and none could hold a candle to Mr. Gelberg. He also went to court without me several times which was a relief to me. Once the court accepted Mr. Gelberg's 5 year plan for me I have followed it to the letter. I am pleased to say that I am about to come out of bankruptcy and I will forever be grateful to Mr. Gelberg.

I contacted Mr. Megale to represent my younger brother last minute. We didn’t have an attorney nor did we have thousands of dollars lying around to hire just anyone. Mr. Megale was our savior to say the least. He’s extremely personable, understanding and straight forward. He gets to know his clients in addition to knowing the facts about the case. Jill Altarac is the best divorce attorney in New York, the USA and possible the World! I am blessed, privileged and honored to have had her on my side. Jayson Wolfe and his legal assistant Donna are the absolute best legal team and the one that you need to navigate the complex world of elder care law. Before meeting Jayson and Donna, I attempted contact with two other attorneys to discuss my case, which involved getting my 97-year-old aunt approved for Medicaid and in-home care.
The first attorney I tried contacting came well recommended but proved to be impossible to reach, as she never returned phone calls or responded to email messages. The other attorney I chose did have an initial consultation with me by video call, but when it came time to hire him, he suddenly stated that he was too busy to take on my case.
I called Jayson’s office feeling overwhelmed, and Donna answered the phone. She was able to schedule an appointment to meet with Jayson within a day. We sat together for an initial meeting that lasted over 90 minutes, during which he answered all of my questions (as I had a lot of them). Within the first 5-10 minutes, I knew that Jayson Wolfe would be the attorney I would hire. Here is what he and his team did for me:
• Advised me on the financial transactions that I needed to execute immediately in advance to prepare my aunt to qualify for Medicaid
• Walked me through the process of obtaining an irrevocable burial trust for my aunt
• Completed and submitted the paperwork needed to obtain certification of my aunt’s disability
• Set up an account with a pooled trust to allow my aunt to qualify for Medicaid
• Obtained approval for Medicaid in-home care for my aunt
• Advised me on the in-home evaluation process
• Fought to get me a new placement with a different MLTC (despite me ignoring his initial recommendation) which led to me getting my aunt qualified for a full-time live-in aide
All of the above was done for a fixed retainer, saving thousands of dollars.
While the above speaks to his competence as an elder law attorney, there is much more to know that explains why Jayson and his team are the best:

• They treat you like a human being and even more – they treat you like family

Mark is a phenomenal attorney! He handled my son’s complex criminal case like a true professional, a case that could have ended with my son being branded a felon, which would have scarred him for life and ruined his future plans. Mark Panzavecchia was amazing in regards to my case. He maximized the recovery amount on my case. William Petrillo is just an amazing blend of magnificent attorney and wonderful human being. When I stepped foot into his office the warmth and genuine concern shined immediately. His knowledge and ability astounded me. I knew within 5 minutes of speaking with him that this was the man I would entrust my future too. I have only the most positive things to say about my experience with Melissa Studin Young as my lawyer. I interviewed countless lawyers, and spoke with others who had retained various lawyers, and chose to go with Melissa. I did not regret that decision for a second. From start to finish Melissa showed compassion, confidence and capability. I felt like she truly had my back, my children's best interests at heart, and knew how to get the job done. If you're searching for an attorney, you must consider one's experience, temperament, personality, responsiveness, and legal finesse in dealing with "divorce" especially when children are at stake causing an embattlement the likes of which the movie Kramer vs. Kramer looks like a Disney movie. Tony and I never went to trial, but fully prepared for it up to the day of trial. His responsiveness is uncanny. He does not raise his voice, is not aggressive, but when arguing points, he will back his opponent into a corner with untenable arguments. He responds to emails almost immediately. He knows the law. We dealt with the opposition consistently lying, as did my Ex, about all matters and were prepared to expose the truth at trial. Go for a consult. Its a no brainer to higher such a qualified, personable, and knowledgeable lawyer who is a regular guy. His office staff were also friendly, competent, and compassionate. He will also make you aware of all strategies, and the costs for applying each. After, forensics, law guardians, parenting coordinators, full trial prep, I'm satisfied with the outcome as much as one can be. I was ready to see this through to the very end, and did, with a competent attorney in Tony beside me.

I learned of Mr. Kusnetz services after my divorces was finalized but I wish I had Mr. Kusnetz from day one. Mr. Klein was recommended to me by a very good friend of mine. Unfortunately, it was after I had retained a lawyer for the purchase of my home. The previous lawyer (J. Bradford Kenealy) had not taken the time to thoroughly and competently review my contract. After I took the time to review the contract, I decided that I needed someone else to represent me. That is when, after sitting with Mr. Klein for over an hour, I retained Mr. Klein. I felt completely confident that if I were to be absent at closing that he could sign for me and I would be able to sleep at night knowing that all bases were covered.
My title for this review was based on his ability to rectify all that was wrong with my contract after it being fully executed by both parties. Mr. Klein spent days emailing and calling the sellers' attorney's office. all on the premise of having a forum at which to renegotiate the contract since there was an unfavorable appraisal. Where some may have given up and sent back the amended contract, he was very persistent in seeing it through despite the sellers' attorney's lack of communication skills. It was then that Mr. Klein was able to eradicate all my fears about moving forward. Which would have been extremely frustrating to be left in limbo just before you are about to leave the country for 2 weeks.
Even though I could go on with details of the transaction and paint a more favorable light for Mr. Klein, the best detail to leave behind is that I will never look for another counsel in matters which are legal.

Well, I haven't needed his assistance personally in some time! He has represented some of my family, friends and I over the years and I recommend him every chance I get! I hired Mr.Ford after consulting 10 lawyers prior.He listened to what I wanted out of my divorce and educated me on the process and my rights in this matter.
