I have known Heather for close to 20-years. Without hesitation Heather is one of the most honest people I have ever known. When it comes to the practice of law Heather is unequivocally at the top of my list of attorney’s to consult and hire.
I have hired Heather twice. The first time was in 2005 when I needed an experienced matrimonial attorney. The second time was in in 2015 when I needed a real estate lawyer that knew every nook and cranny of the home selling process. Both times I retained Heather at the moment that I knew I would need an expert to guide me through two of the more difficult aspects of life that one sometimes has to contend with legally. As it related to my real estate transaction, Heather was there for me from before the house was listed with a Real Estate Broker to the afternoon when I signed the last document of the sale. Throughout the process Heather made sure that I understood how the home selling process would take place (it was my first time selling a home) and what the legal aspects would entail.
I have also consulted Heather over the years on several legal questions including what constituted an emergency when I needed to have a Power-of-Attorney drawn up extremely quickly. Heather drove to where I was with the papers in hand to be sure that the legal issues I was facing could be dealt with as smoothly as possible and within the legal boundaries needed.
Heather is a professional of the highest caliber and integrity. Heather and her staff are incredibly responsible to calls and emails, and Heather’s rates are very reasonable when I look back on the exceptional level of customer service that I was provided.

I had a very positive experience with Heather Winters. Heather Winters was my attorney when I sold my co-op in Great Neck in 2015. Heather was very professional and thorough at our consultation and going forward was extremely helpful and insightful with her advice. She took me from contract to closing. I had a situation where a client owed me a substantial amount of money and I needed an attorney who was patient, but aggressive. Brian did all the heavy lifting and was able to assist in getting me my money and his fees were reasonable. I met Mr. Lo Piccolo after a very difficult and unsavory experience with another attorney. I was having a difficult time, and was facing a charge that was quite frightening for me. Mr. Lo Piccolo was extraordinarily professional and thorough from the start. At no time did he pass judgements about my situation, just looked at all the facts and went from there. He was very clear with me about what my options were, the potential outcomes, and demonstrated a keen knowledge of and extensive experience with the law. His office ALWAYS contacted me with a reminder the day before a court appearance, and everything I needed to know was provided to me in writing. In the end, the result he helped to obtain was highly satisfactory in both his opinion and mine.
If you are looking for someone who will be straightforward, direct, and honest with you and not try to blow smoke up the proverbial rear-end, I would certainly recommend meeting Mr. Lo Piccolo. We had a matter with our contractor who refused to return our deposit after doing no work for over six months.We contacted Seth Levine after our calls went unanswered by the contractor. He did make contact in a very timely manner with the contractor on our behalf and in a few weeks we got our full refund.

I contacted Neal's office in 2014 to discuss concerns over my fathers estate. Made an appointment with Neal for a free consultation and decided after that meeting to retain Neal as my attorney. Took awhile to resolve my fathers estate which had nothing to do with Neal. Neal is very kind hearted and very supportive. Neal was always in touch with me as things developed. I never felt uninformed or lacking information. I couldn't ask for more from an attorney. I highly recommend Neal.

I hired Rich Toscani to handle my fiancé’s case, who happened to have charged in two separate counties. He knew that I was paying for this on my own as my fiancé wasn’t working and was extremely sympathetic to the situation. I had hired a contactor to do work on my home, and was quoted a fair price. This three day job was then stretched into a 10 day fiasco, with the contractor not showing up for days, and never completing the job.
Fortunately, we had only paid this unscrupulous thief a deposit, but we were completely stunned when we learned that a lien had been placed on our home for an amount 3 times the quoted price!
We asked around, and Mike LoFrumento was recommended as someone who could fix this nightmare.
Fix it he did, and the lien was quickly removed.
Mike is the kind of guy who uses his skills and talents to "right" the "wrongs" life will occasionally throw our way.
We couldn't have been happier with his professionalism, follow-through and results.

I retained Wendy through a recommendation from a close personal friend. Scott effectively negotiated a settlement with 2 insurance companies following an auto accident. He explained to us the basics of insurance, no-fault and tort law and set our expectations early. Divorce is obviously a quite stressful time, so it is VITAL that your lawyer does their job professionally, swiftly, and for lack of a better word expertly. My stress level was quite high during this time period, but Mr. Levine made the process easier to deal with. I was well informed all the way thru the process, and I never felt as though it would not be resolved to my satisfaction. Mr. Levine knows the law inside and out, and I can say w/ 100% certainly he will be the ONLY lawyer I recommend in this arena. Highly recommended!!!

While I had worked with a few attorneys, I did not get the results I now have in place until I met and hired Mr. Levine. I met him through chance and and consider myself extremly fortunate to have met him. It might not have been great circumstances given the situation with my ex-wife but it turned around very quickly once Mr. Levine was able to use his years of experience and savy negotiation skills. Mr. Levine returned calls promptly and even offered advice to me DURING THE SUPER BOWL. I know of very few attorneys who would have spoken to one of their clients during the Super Bowl. There was not a time in which I called him that I had to wait too long for a response.
The staff at Mr. Levine's firm was equally responsive and professional while dealing with my case. I am glad now when I have to deal with my ex-wife because I know I have Mr. Levine and his firm on my side if I needed them again. I must also say that knowing I haqve Mr. Levine's on my side has kept my ex-wife in check and not so ready to go to lawyers to try to deal with any issues we might disagree with about our children,. I am with my kids half the time and I can say this is because of Mr. Levine's guidance and knowledge.

Ellen assisted my mother and I with estate planning, probate and 2 real estate deals. Matt was assigned to my dad by the judge hearing a motion that he filed with the court in 2015. Due to the pandemic I advised my dad to file for a compassionate release but I knew he would need help in preparing a strong supporting argument. So I reached out to Matt. I knew it was a lot to ask for but he didn’t even hesitate to say yes! I could tell from the sound of his voice that he genuinely cared and had concern for my dad’s well being. Matthew contributed to my fathers release. My father was sentenced to life and once Matthew got his hands on the case, it contributed a great deal to the "time served" sentence my father received....after 22 years incarceration.
