Due to some very unfortunate and unforeseen circumstances, I was facing a felony drug charge. The charge would have been the end of my life as I knew it
As anybody with any sense would do, I hired an attorney. And over the stretch of a year, it seemed as if no matter what I did, was going to have the charge. The best deal my attorney could pull for me was four years of Probation and a hefty fine. I was devastated. But taking some time on the matter, I began to realize maybe there was a possibility for a better outcome!
So, I fired the attorney I had and following some recommendations, I hired Shelby Burns. Unbeknownst to me at the time, this would turn out to be the best decision I could have made.
I will never forget the day he called me and told me that he was able to plea the case down to a misdemeanor with NO probation, NO jail time, and NO fine (only the inevitable court fines but they were minimal).
If I was still young enough to do so, I swear I would have been doing backflips I was so excited. It was so good that I was almost in disbelief that it was even true and that he wouldn't trying to pull some sick prank on me. But it was real! I was going to be able to continue on in my life the way I had prior to the charge. It had been so long since the occurrence is well, that everything I was having to do had almost become a way of life to me. I have my freedom, my career, and no felony on my record! I would refer this attorney to anyone. He saved my life! I would have lost everything that I had worked for. I still am in a bit of shock but he most definitely is someone who knows what they're doing and will fight for you to the fullest of his abilities!

Shelby is a great lawyer and also a great person. When i was charged with my DWI he never gave me any false hopes and told me how it was. He was always in contact with me about how my case was progressing and my DWI was dismissed! If you have a DWI/DUI Shelby is the lawyer to go with!

I was charged with driving while intoxicated and open container after a car accident in Sep, 2014. I was referred to and contacted Shelby Burns shortly thereafter and after a lengthy period of court resets, the case was resolved (secured a reduced charge of 'obstruction of a roadway'). Additionally, Mr. Burns gave me his cell number and was accessible at all times and communicated case status as needed throughout the legal process.

Sadie was recommended to me by a family member, to represent me in my car accident case. When others did not want to take my case Sadie listened and worked effortlessly to get me what I deserved. I first met Mack when my husband had a court matter. To begin with, we did not know where to start looking for an attorney since we have never had any dealings with the courts. Fortunately, a friend referred Mack to us, along with several other attorneys, but after consultations and lack of feedback from the others, we quickly realized, without any regrets, that Mack was the one we wanted to take our case.
The thing we liked about Mack was that we had access to him 24/7 via his cellphone, and got quick feedback to our questions. He also kept us up-to-date on every step of the case, without us having to ask. He was very meticulous and instrumental in helping my husband to get an earlier date for his court hearing, and got his charges reduced. He even wrote a letter for my son's college (free of charge) so that he was able to get a refund for his school fees, as he was unable to attend school during that challenging time in our lives.
About a year after my husband's case was over, we needed some documents from Mack, and he was on point in getting those documents to us the same day we requested them!

I had a slip and fall in the oil fields located in west Texas. I didn’t know what to do but I know my employer wasn’t going to do anything. I’ve known Colby for over 20 years and I’ve never sued before so I thought I would contact him. I’m so glad I did and my checking account now is glad. In 2019 an incident happened where I was charged with a second-degree SA, I was told I could get a court-appointed lawyer and I did. I met Kevin Howard ( Ironically we have the same name). He talked over the case with me after 2 years of pre-trial and rescheduling because of covid. 2022 hit and the trial began, after many talks with the state he was able to get it lowered. he never failed to try as much as he could. I insisted on going to trial because I knew I wasn't guilty, he was all for it and very supportive. Any questions that I had he was always there to answer and guide me. If it wasn't for Kevin Howard I wouldn't have had a chance to prove my innocence. June 2022 hit
and we were ready to go to trial. I walk into the courtroom ready for trial and Kevin Howard managed and continuously fought to have my case dismissed. he managed to dismiss the case and never once failed to do everything in his power. I will forever be thankful for how much he has done for me. I definitely would recommend him in any circumstances.

I would highly recommend Lawrence Dietlein Jr. I was referred to Mr. Dietlein Jr. by a friend and a well know Houston realtor (Melvin Reyna of the Reyna Group). Mr. Dietlein probated my mother's will for me in an appropriate amount of time. His fee was very reasonable for the expert advice and assistance he gave to me through the whole process. he never tired of answering the numerous questions I had along the way about the complicated process of probating a will and all the issues that come with probating a will. My experience with the Littletons was great. I was involved in an accident that seem the likelihood of a resolution that was in my favor was slim to none. I was charged with retaliation (threatening to kill a police officer). I was acting stupid and of course I didn’t mean any of that. Pretty sure the police knew it but they don’t take kindly to perceived threats. Wood had the case thrown out in less than ten minutes.

My son was arrested and charged with Aggravated Robbery and Felon with a Weapon cases based on a lie. The police arrested him with ZERO evidence other than lies told by an acquaintance. Sad to say the DA accepted charges based on nothing but the say so of a known liar and criminal. Seems like the cops round up whoever and like magic - “Another case closed!” NOT. Then the judge held him at NO BOND because of his past convictions. Wood convinced the DA’s to dismiss it but in case they wouldn’t, Wood kept asking theme to go to the grand jury with it so he could set it for trial.
Took a month or so but finally both cases were dismissed. I told my son to pick his acquaintances better but sometimes even your own kids need to learn some lessons on their own.

I had an old case from another state for dui, 20 years ago to be exact , that had came back to haunt me where the State of Texas was not renewing my CDL which i need for my career due to the info from another state. I hired Dr. Jones during an ugly custody battle. As a father, I felt my concerns/points were not being taken seriously by the courts and my ex wife was playing the abused wife victim card even though the mental/physical abuse was actually done to me. Dr. Jones worked 24/7 on my case and was available to me 100% of the time. He basically held my hand and walked me through every step of the process.
