I strongly recommend Mimi Ahn. Unfortunately, I was convicted of a DUI roughly 2 and half years ago with a BAC of .09. I had been attempting to gain experience in the social work field to help beef up my grad school applications, but I was constantly getting denied due to my "criminal background."
Let me first off start by saying I wish I knew of this firm the first time I was represented in court. Mimi Ahn handled my case sensitive material in a professional and non judgmental way, which I can not appreciate her enough for. She was able to expunge my criminal background in around two months, start to finish. Talk about efficient service! With her help with the expungement I was able to get into my Master in Social Work program at USC!

I have had the pleasure of knowing Scott for quite a while. I met him through my mother a long time ago and have used Scott for 2 different cases I had. One of the cases he was able to dismiss of a City suit against me in NY and did not have to pay anything. The City was suing me for over 225,000. This saved my life. I appreciate him so much. The other case he helped was a mediation and we came out with a great outcome on that one as well. When ever i have any sort of legal questions he is there to answer them for me. If he doesn't know or is not in the specialty that he practices he will refer it out to someone that he trusts and can and will take care of the problem.

Ours was a very difficult case not only for the amount of factual detail, but the problems of putting the documents together for trial. Aaron was detailed and focused on nailing down all of the evidence.

I hired a different lawyer previously and because - like many new clients - I relied on big firm advertisement, every time I called the office for questions, instead of talking to my lawyer, I was mostly talking to his assistants/paralegals. And when I finally get a hold of my lawyer, he was clueless of my case.
I had a totally opposite experience with Sean Yuan. At first glance, you'll most probably felt hesitance to hire Sean Yuan as your lawyer because he doesn't own a big law office or has a big poster advertisement on newspapers. But from my experience, it meant every time I picked up the phone with questions, I spoke directly to Sean instead of his assistant.
He helped me through H-1B application and eventually LPR's application.
He is very knowledgeable in his area expertise and maintained a good line of communication with his clients. He prepared each application and procedure properly. He patiently explained each procedure and all possible outcomes with the case . He is not one who only promised all positive outcomes in a case (as we all know US immigration can be so complicated these days), but he also laid out the risks/possible negative outcomes, so his clients fully understand both sides of possible outcomes.
I would recommend Sean Yuan's service to anyone who need help with immigration's law. As the matter of fact, I also hired Sean for my mother's LPR application.

Michele helped my family and I through a very difficult and emotional situation. My mother-in-law is in the later stages of Alzheimers. Unknow to me, my wife's sisters took their mom to four different attorneys until they found one that would change her estate planning doucments. I knew my mother-in-law was not competent to change her estate plans but I didn't know what my options were. After interviewing several law firms we choose Michele and her law firm.
Michele prepared a very comprehensive trial plan. She guided us through the depositions, trial preparation, and explained what would happen each step of the way.
